On 4/30/2021 at 12:46 am, Ismael Candelario-Peralt, 19, of Middlesex was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on Bound Brook Rd. Mr. Candelario-Peralt was found to have a warrant for his arrest out of Warren. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released after posting bail. Ptlm. Patrick Barry investigated.

On 4/26/2020 at 11:02 pm, Hever Tista-Lopez, 22, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Refusal to Submit Breath Samples following a motor vehicle stop on Madison Ave. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing where he refused to provide breath samples. He was later released to a sober friend. Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik investigated.

On 4/24/2021 at 11:26 pm, Jose Moya, 53, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated after being observed by patrol asleep behind the wheel on the 200 blk of North Ave. Mr. Moya was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober friend. On 4/24/2021 at 2:30 am, Michael Jenkins, 41, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on First St. Mr. Jenkins was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later transported to RWJ Somerset for a medical evaluation. On 4/23/2021 at 9:02 am, patrol responded to the 1700 blk of West Fourth St. for the report of Fraud. The victim reported that an unknown suspect had opened an unemployment claim in their name. Ptlm. Brian O'Neill investigated.

On 4/23/2021 at 12:19 am, Fredy Linares, 38, of North Brunswick was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on North Washington Ave. Mr. Linares was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober friend. On 4/19/2021 at 9:47 pm, patrol responded to the 100 blk of North Ave for the report of Theft. The victim reported that for the past two years they had accumulated in their backyard $4,000 worth of clothing, shoes, and canned goods to donate to Uganda and that all of the items had been stolen. Ptlm. Joseph Green investigated.

On 4/17/2021 at 1:14 am, Anna Helck, 31, of North Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Refusal to Submit Breath Samples following a motor vehicle stop on the 600 blk of Bound Brook Rd. Ms. Helck was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing where she refused to provide breath samples. She was later released to a sober friend. Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik investigated.

On 4/17/2021 at 12:56 am, Angel Beinites-Gomez, 55, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. Mr. Benites-Gomez was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober family member. On 4/16/2021 at 5:38 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Theft. The victim reported that they had dropped their iPhone. Shortly thereafter, the find my iPhone app showed the phone in motion and traveling into Middlesex before being turned off. Ptlm. James Daniel investigated.

On 4/14/2021 at 9:28 am, Ernest Shallo, 53, of Piscataway was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on West Fourth St. Mr. Shallo, a passenger on the stop, was known to patrol and found to have an arrest warrant out of Plainfield. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released after receiving a new court date. Det. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 4/11/2021 at 8:03 pm, German Miranda, 53, of Middlesex was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated after patrol responded to the reported hit and run motor vehicle accident at North and Madison. A description of the fleeing vehicle was broadcast and Mr. Miranda was stopped by Middlesex Borough PD. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober friend. Sgt. On 4/11/2021 at 10:38 pm, patrol responded to the 700 blk of Bound Brook Rd for the report of a Stolen Motor Vehicle. The victim reported that her vehicle had been left unlocked with the keys in the car and that it had been taken during the night prior. The vehicle was located several hours later and had, according to surveillance video, been involved in a single car accident before the operator abandoned it. Ptlm. Kevin Condus and Det. On 4/11/2021 at 1:55 am, Al Carr, 40, of Newark was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on North Washington Ave. Mr. Carr was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober family member. Ptlm. Joseph Green investigated.

On 4/3/2021 at 11:56 pm, Raymond Meehan, 55, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Filing Fictitious Reports, Disorderly Conduct, and Refusal to be Fingerprinted after placing a false call to Dunellen Police alleging an individual with a firearm inside of his residence. As a result of the investigation, the claims were found to be fictitious. Mr. Meehan was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing where he refused to comply with the booking process. He was then remanded to the Middlesex County Jail. Ptlm. Michael Lowder investigated.

On 4/3/2021 at 1:22 am, Ronny Mejia-Barrera, 28, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober family member. Ptlm. Keith Irons investigated.

On 4/1/2021 at 11:42 am, patrol responded to a business on the 600 blk of Bound Brook Rd. for the report of Theft. The victim reported that an unknown male, observed on security footage, had stolen his bicycle during the night prior and was last seen riding East towards Plainfield. Ptlm. Kevin Condus investigated.

On 4/1/2021 at 8:40 am, Nikia Walker, 43, of Newark was arrested and charged with Lewdness and Hindering Apprehension after being observed urinating outside of the Dunellen Municipal Building and subsequently refusing to identify herself. Ms. Walker was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to the Dunellen Rescue Squad for a medical evaluation. Ptlm. Brian O'Neill investigated.
