On 4/18/2019 at 1:11 am, Adelzo Castro-Sam was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on New Market Rd. Mr. Castro-Sam was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober family member. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 4/17/2019 at 3:14 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Credit Card Fraud. The victim reported several fraudulent charges totaling $650. Ptlm. Jonathan Deangelo investigated.

On 4/16/2019 at 8:35 am, patrol responded to the 700 blk of Bound Brook Rd. for the report of Criminal Mischief. A motorist reported that a man on a bicycle had struck his vehicle's mirror causing damage. Ptlm. Patrick Barry investigated.

On 4/13/2019 at 2:12 am, Terrence McClain, 32, of Middlesex was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Refusal to Submit Breath Testing following response to the report of a hit and run accident on South Ave. Mr. McClain was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober friend. On 4/12/2019 at 4:09 pm, Steven Brunner, 47, of Bayville was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on North Washington Ave. Mr. Brunner was found to have a warrant for his arrest out of Ship Bottom. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released after receiving a new court date. Ptlm. Jonathan DeAngelo investigated.

On 4/8/2019 at 12:04 pm, Shawn Brown Jr., 20, of Piscataway was arrested and charged with Robby by Force (2nd Deg) and Aggravated Assault (2nd Deg) following investigation into an incident on 3/8/2019. Mr. Brown was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later remanded to the Middlesex County Jail. Det. Brian O'Neill investigated.

On 4/7/2019 at 11:01 pm, Iesha Epps, 30, of North Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. Ms. Epps was found to have a warrant for her arrest out of Plainfield. She was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released after posting bail. Ptlm. Matthew Rosofsky investigated.

On 4/7/2019 at 6:46 am, patrol responded to the 100 blk of Front St. for the report of Criminal Mischief and Burglary to a Motor Vehicle. Patrol located a Honda Accord which had a window smashed out. Investigation revealed the theft of multiple items from the vehicle totaling $710. This case remains open. Ptlm. Patrick Barry investigated.

On 4/6/2019 at 11:44 pm, John Boggs, 43, of Watchung was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on North Washington Ave. Mr. Boggs was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober friend. Ptlm. Brian Robbins investigated.

On 4/6/2019 at 10:08 pm, Tyasia Mance, 26, of North Brunswick was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on North Washington Ave. Ms. Mance was found to have warrants for her arrest out of Springfield and Newark. She was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released after receiving new court dates. Ptlm. Matthew Rosofsky investigated.

On 4/6/2019 at 7:56 pm, patrol responded to the 200 blk of Front St for the report of Simple Assault. The Dunellen Rescue Squad responded for minor injuries and all parties were explained how to file complaints with the court. Ptlm. Keith Irons investigated.

On 4/5/2019 at 12:51 pm, patrol took a report of Theft at Dunellen High School. The incident actually took place several days earlier and remains open. Sgt. Prescott Chin investigated.

On 4/2/2019 at 11:42 pm, patrol responded to North Tavern on North Ave for the report of Simple Assault. All parties were separated and explained the process for signing complaints. Ptlm. Matthew Rosofsky investigated.

On 4/1/2019 at 10:51 pm, Jonathan Jiminez, 32, of Edison was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on North Washington Ave. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober family member. Ptlm. Christopher Lovell investigated.

On 4/1/2019 at 11:27 am, patrol received a walk-in report of Fraud. The victim reported sending $1,800 in iTunes gift cards to an unknown person believing that it was a donation to her church. Ptlm. Patrick Barry investigated.

On 4/1/2019 at 1:30 am, Garnet Simmonds, 22, of Dunellen was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on South Washington Ave. Mr. Simmonds was found to have a warrant for his arrest out of South Plainfield. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released after receiving a new court date. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.
