On 4/22/2017 at 3:22 am, Stephen Cascio, 29, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Possession of CDS, Possession of Paraphernalia, Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe, and Being Under the Influence of CDS after patrol responded to a 911 call regarding a possible intoxicated driver on the 300 blk of Prospect Ave. Mr. Cascio was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and was later released to a sober family member. On 4/19/2017 at 11:45 pm, Darryl Haley-Martin, 24, of Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on the 100 blk of North Ave. Investigation revealed that Mr. Haley-Martin had several active warrants for his arrest out of South Plainfield. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released after receiving a new court date. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 4/18/2017 at 12:34 pm, Jackelyn McCann, 29, of Dunellen was arrested for Contempt of Court after she was seen by patrol and known to have several warrants. Investigation revealed warrants out of the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office, Newark, Watchung, Clark, and Cranford totaling $26,500. Ms. McCann was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to the Middlesex County Sheriff's Office. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 4/17/2017 at 9:54 pm, Aldo Chavez, 33, of Middlesex was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on the 400 blk of North Ave. Investigation revealed that Mr. Chavez had an outstanding warrant for his arrest from Union County in the amount of $10,500. Mr. Chavez was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to the Union County Sheriff's Office. Sgt. John Doherty investigated.

On 4/16/2017 at 11:43 pm, Sean Smith, 34, of Newark was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on the 400 blk of North Ave. Mr. Smith was found to have active warrants for his arrest of out Mountainside and Woodbridge. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released after posting bail. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 4/14/2017 at 2:50 pm, Freddy Garcia Jr, 20, of Piscataway was arrested and charged with Eluding Police and Obstructing the Administration of Law following a motor vehicle stop on West 5th St in Piscataway. Mr. Garcia was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court date. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 4/11/2017 at 2:30 pm, Elijah Ridley, 21, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana Under 50g following a motor vehicle stop on North Washington Ave. Mr. Ridley was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court date. On 4/10/2017 at 2:57 pm, Martin Moodie, 25, of Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on the 400 blk of North Ave for equipment violations. Mr. Moodie was found to have an active warrant for his arrest out of Plainfield. Mr. Moodie was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released after posting bail. Ptlm. On 4/9/2017 at 4:15 pm, Angel Lopez-Martinez, 20, of Perth Amboy was arrested and charged with Possession of Under 50g of Marijuana following the motor vehicle stop of an unregistered car. Mr. Lopez-Martinez was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court date and multiple motor vehicle summonses. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 4/8/2017 at 5:39 am, Levaughn Allen, 28, of Plainfield was arrested for Shoplifting and six counts of Contempt of Court after officers were called to Quick Chek for the report of a shoplifter. Mr. Allen fled the store but was apprehended nearby with stolen cigarettes and candy.  Additionally, he was found to have warrants out of South Brunswick, Cranford, Plainfield, and North Plainfield totaling $4,741. Mr. Allen was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to South Brunswick police on their warrant. Ptlm. James Daniel investigated.

On 4/7/2017 at 11:50 pm, Jasmine Harrison, 25, of Newark was arrested and charged with Hindering Apprehension and six counts of Contempt of Court following investigation into a handicapped parking violation at Quick Chek. Ms. Harrison was found to have warrants out of Glen Ridge, Montclair, Cedar Grove, and Union Twp. totaling $3,398. Ms. Harrison was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with new court dates. Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik investigated.

On 4/5/2017 at 10:48 pm, patrol responded to the 200 blk of Orange St. near Columbia Park for the report of an assault. Upon arrival, officers located a victim with serious bodily injury, consistent with being struck by a vehicle. Witnesses described the vehicle which struck the victim and the driver was later identified as Eric Locke, 27, of Dunellen. Mr. Locke was arrested a short time later and charged with Aggravated Assault by Auto, Leaving the Scene of an Accident with Serious Bodily Injury, and Failure to Render Aid to an Injured Person. Mr. Locke was transported to Middlesex County Jail on a warrant for the above charges. Investigation by Sgt. Delbuono with assistance from Det. Heck of the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office.

On 4/5/2017 at 2:48 pm, Aniera Searight, 22, of New Brunswick was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana Under 50 Grams following a motor vehicle stop on South Washington Ave. Ms. Searight was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court date. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 4/4/2017 at 4:09 pm, a resident of Dunellen Ave responded to police HQ to report that she had been a victim of identity theft. The total value of the loss related to the theft was reported as $911.52. Ptlm. Jon DeAngelo investigated.

On 4/3/2017 at 1:27 am, Jahad Johnson, 23, of Newark was arrested and charged with Hindering Apprehension, Possession of Under 50g of Marijuana, and Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop in the parking lot of Quick Chek. After initially providing false information, Mr. Johnson's true identity was discovered as well as suspected marijuana and a warrant for his arrest out of East Orange in the amount of $1,000.  He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a new court date. On 4/2/2017 at 3:38 am, Ivelisse Santiago, 35, of Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on Bound Brook Road for speeding. Ms. Santiago was found to have an active warrant for her arrest out of Plainfield. She was taken into custody without incident and brought to Dunellen HQ for processing. Plainfield Police responded and took custody of Ms. Santiago. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.
