On 4/30/2022 at 10:32 pm, Kendall Ruiz, 32, of Irvington was arrested for Disorderly Conduct after attempting to interfere with officers issuing a borough ordinance. Mr. Ruiz was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court date. Ptlm. Anthony Issler investigated.

On 4/30/2022 at 12:39 am, Hason Outland, 29, of Piscataway was arrested for Contempt of Court after operating his vehicle in a reckless manner in order to avoid contact at a Sobriety Checkpoint. A motor vehicle stop was conducted and Mr. Outland was found to have a warrant for his arrest. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released after receiving a new court date. Sgt. On 4/30/2022 at 12:03 am, Bladimir Diaz, 50, of South Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated after being found impaired by officers conducting a Sobriety Checkpoint on North Ave. Mr. Diaz was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober friend. On 4/29/2022 at 11:50 pm, Erick Mazariego-Diaz, 21, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated (marijuana) after being found impaired by officers conducting a Sobriety Checkpoint on North Ave. Mr. Mazariego-Diaz was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober family member. On 4/29/2022 at 11:13 pm, Naijah Smith, 24, of Jersey City was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated (marijuana) after being found impaired by officers conducting a Sobriety Checkpoint on North Ave. Ms. Smith was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober friend. On 4/28/2022 at 6:31 pm, Erwin Ical-Regalado, 44, of Dunellen was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. Mr. Ical-Regalado was found to have a warrant for his arrest out of Dunellen. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released after receiving a new court date. Ptlm. Keith Irons investigated.

On 4/27/2022 at 1:28 pm, patrol responded to the 600 blk of Grove St. for the reported Fraud. The victim reported that they had fallen victim to a scam and transferred an unknown person $15,000 in digital currency. Ptlm. Brian O'Neill investigated.

On 4/23/2022 at 9:35 am, patrol responded to the 100 blk of Front St. for the report of Theft. The victim reported that someone had stolen the license plate off of their parked motorcycle. Ptlm. Manuel Santiago investigated.

On 4/22/2022 at 11:50 am, patrol responded to the 100 blk of North Ave for the report of a Motor Vehicle theft. The victim reported that his Acura had been stolen using the keys that were stolen out of his other vehicle a day prior. The stolen vehicle was later recovered in Plainfield. Ptlm. On 4/21/2022 at 10:54 am, Freddy Velastegui-Espine, 42, of Dunellen was arrested for Contempt of Court after being observed by patrol and known to have a warrant for his arrest. Mr. Velastegui-Espine was brought to Dunellen HQ and later released with a new court date. Ptlm. Keith Irons investigated.

On 4/21/2022 at 7:40 am, patrol responded to the 100 blk of North Ave. for the report of Burglary to a motor vehicle. The victim reported that their vehicle had been forcibly entered and taken were $60 U.S. Currency, Credit and Debit Cards, along with keys to another vehicle parked nearby. Ptlm. Keith Irons investigated.

On 4/20/2022 at 1:02 am, Justin Young, 22, of Dunellen was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop where he was found to have warrants out of South Plainfield and Hazlet totaling $2,500. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released after posting bail. Ptlm. Joseph Green investigated. 

On 4/19/2022 at 5:53 pm, Jose Soloman-Toj, 41, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Hindering Apprehension following a motor vehicle stop on New Market Rd. in which he provided officers with a fictitious name. Mr. Soloman-Toj was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court appearance notice. Ptlm. Keith Irons investigated.

On 4/18/2022 at 8:17 pm, German Canas-Jurado, 39, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated after patrol responded to a motor vehicle accident on the 200 blk of North Ave. Mr. Canas-Jurado was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober friend. Ptlm. Michael Lowder investigated.

On 4/15/2022 at 12:20 am, Silvia Chavez-Mangui, 45, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct and Obstruction for attempting to interfere with an arrest. Ms. Chavez-Mangui was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to the Rescue Squad for a medical evaluation. Ptlm. Joseph Green investigated.

On 4/15/2022 at 12:20 am, Gustavo Galarza-Vasquez, 29, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Resisting Arrest, Obstruction and Disorderly Conduct for his behavior during a motor vehicle stop. He was later brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released with a court date. It was later learned that he had provided a false name during the booking process and was additionally charged with Hindering Apprehension. Ptlm. Keith Irons investigated.

On 4/13/2022 at 11:27 pm, Mynor Mendez-Morales, 22, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on the 700 blk of Bound Brook Rd. Mr. Mendez-Morales was brought to Green Brook and Dunellen HQ's for processing and was later released after sobering up. Ptlm. Keith Irons investigated.

On 4/11/2022 at 6:43 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Fraud. The victim reported that a credit card had been opened in her name without her knowledge. The account was closed prior to any fraudulent charges. Ptlm. Anthony Issler investigated.

On 4/11/2022 at 5:52 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Theft. The victim reported that a former employee had been accessing a business checking account and over a period of time had unlawfully removed close to $15,000. This case was forwarded to the Detective Bureau. Ptlm. Joe Dudley investigated.

On 4/10/2022 at 11:30 pm, Jason Gibney, 51, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop on Bound Brook Rd. Mr. Gibney was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court appearance notice. Ptlm. Joe Green investigated.

On 4/10/2022 at 9:36 am, Brian Salazar, 29, of Piscataway was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on North Washington Ave. Mr. Salazar was found to have a no-bail warrant for his arrest out of the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later transported to the Middlesex County Jail on the warrant. Det. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 4/5/2022 at 120:00 am, Kevin Mulvany, 45, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct after police response to the reported fight on the 200 blk of Dunellen Ave. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court appearance notice. Ptlm. Michael Lowder investigated.

On 4/2/2022 at 11:22 am, David Young, 62, of Roselle, was arrested and charged with Possession of CDS (Heroin) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after being observed panhandling in front of Station Plaza. Mr. Young was found to have warrants for his arrest out of Newark and Clark. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing after receiving new court dates. Det. Nicholas Goldman investigated.
