August

On 8/31/2019 at 11:20 pm, Matthew Williams, 28, of Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court after being observed by patrol walking on North Ave and known to have warrants for his arrest. Warrants were located out of Dunellen, Piscataway, Plainfield, and Union for a total of $4,750. Mr. Williams was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later remanded to the Middlesex County Jail on Dunellen's warrant. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 8/31/2019 at 5:26 pm, Rontiktaq Sadler, 27, of Highland Park was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. Mr. Sadler was found to have a warrant for his arrest out of Somerville in the amount of $1,000. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to Somerville PD on their warrant. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 8/30/2019 at 7:28 pm, Douglass Zielaznicki, 54, of Bridgewater was charged with Possession of CDS (Heroin), Being Under the Influence of CDS, and Failure to Surrender CDS after being observed by patrol on North Ave behaving oddly. Mr. Zielaznicki was transported to the hospital for a medical evaluation and was mailed a court appearance notice. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 8/30/2019 at 3:11 pm, patrol responded to the 500 blk of Mountainview Terrace for the report of Criminal Mischief. The victim reported damage to some property in her yard. Ptlm. Patrick Barry investigated.

On 8/30/2019 at 9:91 am, Cheryl Kennel, 58, of Dunellen was arrested for Contempt of Court following police response to the report of a suspicious vehicle on the 500 blk of North Ave. Ms. Kennel was found to have multiple warrants out of South Plainfield totaling $1,800. She was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to South Plainfield PD on their warrant. Ptlm. Patrick Barry investigated.

On 8/26/2019 at 9:19 am, patrol received a walk-in report of Credit Card Fraud. The victim reported that an unknown person had opened up a credit card using their identity and charged $1,941 to Dick's Sporting Goods. Ptlm. Patrick Barry investigated.

On 8/25/2019 at 1:45 am, Luis Rodriguez-Rodriguez, 20, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Hindering Apprehension following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave in which he provided officers with a false name to conceal his suspended license. Mr. Rodriguez-Rodriguez was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court date. Ptlm. Patrick Barry investigated.

On 8/24/2019 a 17 year old female, of Plainfield, was charged with Hindering Apprehension following investigation into a motor vehicle stop on 8/16/2019 in which it was determined that she had provided a false name. A court notice was mailed. Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik investigated.

On 8/24/2019 at 12:14 am, Lashawnta Hill, 22, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Hindering Apprehension and Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on New Market Rd. Ms. Hill provided officers with multiple fictitious names to conceal warrants out of Scotch Plains and Piscataway totaling $1,750 as well as a no-bail warrant out of the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office. Ms. Hill was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to the Somerset County Jail on the Prosecutor's Office warrant. Ptlm. Matthew Rosofsky investigated.

On 8/22/2019 at 9:33 pm, Michael Hans, 43, of Piscataway was arrested and charged with Simple Assault, Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia following police response to North Tavern on North Ave for the report of an individual attacking others with a billiard ball. Mr. Hans was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later remanded to the Middlesex County Jail. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 8/22/2019 at 4:18 pm, Jeremy Jacobs, 31, of Somerville was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Refusal to Submit Breath Samples following a motor vehicle stop on the 400 blk of Prospect Ave. Additionally, warrants totaling $5,078 were located out of Plainfield and South Plainfield. Mr. Jacobs was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing where he refused to submit breath samples. He was later turned over to EMS for an evaluation. Sgt. John Doherty investigated.

On 8/21/2019 at 10:19 pm, Stephen Fenchock, 41, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Refusal to Submit Breath Samples following a motor vehicle stop on Pulaski St. Mr. Fenchock was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing where he refused to submit breath samples. He was later turned over to a sober family member. Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik investigated.

On 8/20/2019 at 11:31 pm, Brian Lytwin, 37, of Bridgewater was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Possession of CDS (crack cocaine), Poss. of Drug Paraphernalia, Fail to Give CDS to Police, and Being Under the Influence of CDS following a motor vehicle stop on Lincoln Ave for multiple moving violations. Mr. Lytwin was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober friend. Sgt. Pakovics of the New Jersey State Police and Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik investigated.

On 8/19/2019 at 11:14 pm, Sheldon Evans, 36, of Middlesex was arrested for Contempt of Court following a premise check of the area behind Family Dollar on North Ave. Mr. Evans was found to have a $1,000 warrant out of Middlesex Boro. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released after receiving a new court date. Ptlm. Patrick Barry investigated.

On 8/19/2019 at 11:14 pm, Samantha Ghanem, 31, of Middlesex was arrested and charged with Poss. of Drug Paraphernalia, Poss. of a Hypodermic Needle, and Being Under the Influence of CDS following a premise check of the area behind Family Dollar on North Ave. Ms. Ghanem was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court appearance date. On 8/19/2019 at 8:38 pm, Jahad Johnson, 25, of Piscataway was arrested and charged with Hindering Apprehension (4th Deg.) following a motor vehicle stop on New Market Rd. in which he provided the fictitious name of Jahad Green to conceal a suspended license and multiple warrants for his arrest. Investigation revealed his true identity and No-Bail warrants out of Newark, Union County Sheriff's, and Essex County Sheriff's. Mr. Johnson was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later remanded to the Middlesex County Jail. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 8/18/2019, Haresdath Bajnath, 29, of Dunellen was mailed a complaint summons charging him with Theft following investigation into an incident on the 400 blk of First St. in which several cooking appliances were stolen from a residence, valued at $199. Mr. Bajnath was sent a court appearance date. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 8/18/2019 at 7:48 am, Jose Sis, 33, of Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court after a motor vehicle stop on North Ave for failure to stop for pedestrians in a crosswalk. Mr. Sis was found to have a warrant for his arrest out of Piscataway in the amount of $1303. He was brought to Dunellen HQ and released after posting bail. Ptlm. Patrick Barry investigated.

On 8/16/2019 at 12:50 am, Alan Chipantiza, 20, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. A 15 year old female was also arrested and charged with Hindering Apprehension. Both were brought to Dunellen HQ for processing. Mr. Chipantiza was turned over to a sober family member and the juvenile was turned over to her parents. Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik investigated.

On 8/15/2019 at 8:50 pm, patrol responded to the 500 blk of First St. for the report of a vicious dog. As a result of the investigation, several borough ordinances were issued. Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik investigated.

On 8/15/2019 at 3:48 pm, patrol responded to the 300 blk of Prospect Ave for the report of a suspicious incident. The caller reported that a baby stroller which had been left on her front porch was now on her front lawn and wished to have the suspicious incident documented. Ptlm. James Daniel investigated.

On 8/14/2019 at 11:03 pm, Carlene Sinclair, 25, Shanice Friday, 27, and Larry Gurley, 25, all of New York, were arrested following a motor vehicle stop near North and Washington. Mr. Gurley was arrested on an outstanding warrant for his arrest our of Old Bridge. He was released after receiving a new court date. Ms. Sinclair and Ms. Friday were both charged with Hindering Apprehension after providing officers with fictitious identity information. They were both released with a court date after processing. On 8/14/2019, Mark Queen Jr., 31, of Bridgewater was charged with Impersonating a Law Enforcement Officer following investigation into a motor vehicle stop on 8/11/2019 in which Mr. Queen Jr. falsely claimed to be a police officer. He was mailed a court appearance notice. Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik investigated.  

On 8/13/2019 at 2:44 pm, James Elam, 53, of South Bound Brook was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on the 200 blk of Walnut St. Mr. Elam was found to have warrants for his arrest out of Union Twp., Somerville, Madison, Irvington, and Fanwood totaling $2,512. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to Union Twp. PD on their warrant. Ptlm. Patrick Barry investigated.  

On 8/12/2019 at 6:41 pm, Elvis Cruz, 28, of Middlesex was arrested and charged with Theft following investigation into the reported theft of a cell phone from Tropical Supermarket. Mr. Cruz was identified and located with the stolen property. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court appearance date. Ptlm. Kevin Condus investigated.  

On 8/12/2019 at 12:06 am, George Wilson-Mollinedos, 44, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated after patrol heard the sound of a motor vehicle crash near North and Washington and observed Mr. Wilson-Mollinedos fleeing the area. The sound was from striking two parked vehicles. Mr. Wilson-Mollinedos was subsequently stopped and arrested for DWI. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober friend. Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik investigated.
 
On 8/11/2019 at 8:16 pm, Rashon roach, 27, and Leesa Williams, 24, both of Plainfield, were arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop. Mr. Roach had warrants out of Plainfield and South Plainfield. Ms. Williams had a warrant out of Springfield. They were brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released after posting bail and receiving new court dates Ptlm. Matthew Rosofsky investigated.

On 8/10/2019 at 11:30 pm, Donald Young, 25, of Dunellen was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave for several unrestrained small children in the vehicle. Mr. Young was found to have warrants for his arrest out of Plainfield and Piscataway totaling $1,250. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to Piscataway PD on their warrant. Sgt. Brian Robbins investigated.

On 8/10/2019 at 1:54 am, patrol attempted to stop a yellow and black motorcycle operating in a reckless manner on North Washington Ave. The pursuit was terminated when the operator took off on Rt. 22 at an extremely high rate of speed. Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik investigated.

On 8/9/2019 at 6:27 pm, Unray Silas, 29, of Elizabeth was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on the 200 blk of North Ave. Mr. Silas was found to have warrants out of Woodbridge, Plainfield, and New Brunswick totaling $1,593. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to New Brunswick PD on their warrant. Ptlm. Matthew Rosofsky investigated.

On 8/9/2019 at 4:16 pm, patrol responded to the 400 blk of Prospect Ave for the report of Burglary and Theft. The victim reported multiple items stolen from the residence. It is believed the actor entered through the unlocked door to the residence. Ptlm. James Daniel investigated.

On 8/7/2019 at 12:16 am, Joshania Crutchfield, 26, of Carteret was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following police response to a motor vehicle accident on the 400 blk of North Washington Ave in which Ms. Crutchfield struck several parked vehicles. She was subsequently arrested and transported to Dunellen HQ for processing before being later released to a sober friend.

On 8/5/2019 at 1:47 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Theft by Deception. The victim reported receiving a phone call from an individual claiming to be from PSEG and demanding $300 in bitcoin to avoid shutting off power to the victim's residence. After sending the $300, the victim became suspicious and contacted the actual electric company whom advised that it was a scam. Ptlm. Jonathan DeAngelo investigated.

On 8/4/2019 at 1:38 am, Marlin Cerrato-Menjivar, 41, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on North Washington Ave. Mr. Cerrato-Menjivar was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to a sober family member. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 8/3/2019 at 12:19 am, Sandra Sagastume-Rodas, 46, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Hindering Apprehension and Resisting Arrest following a motor vehicle stop on West Fourth St. where she repeatedly gave fictitious pedigree information. Ms. Sagastume-Rodas was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court appearance date. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 8/2/2019 at 4:48 pm, Deanna Bush, 33, of Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on Orange St. Ms. Bush was found to have a warrant for her arrest out of South Plainfield in the amount of $1,000. She was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released after receiving a new court date. Ptlm. Patrick Barry investigated.

On 8/1/2019 at 5:32 pm, Jonathan Zeloof, 23, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following police response to a motor vehicle accident in the lot of Station Plaza. Mr. Zeloof was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to a sober family member. Sgt. Christopher Lovell investigated.
