August


On 8/28/2016 at 8:26 pm, Sheila Matthews, 49, of Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. Investigation revealed that Ms. Matthews had a warrant for her arrest out of Union Twp (Hunterdon). Ms. Matthews was transported to headquarters where she was processed and received a new court date. Ptlm. Goldman investigated.

On 8/28/2016 at 9:21 pm, Luis Figueroa, 38, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following investigation at a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of North and Washington. Mr. Figueroa was brought to headquarters where he was processed and later released to a sober party. Ptlm. Nierodzik investigated.

On 8/26/2016 at 1:31 am, Rontik Sadler, 24, of Dunellen was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. Investigation revealed that Mr. Sadler had several warrants for his arrest out of Dunellen. Mr. Sadler was transported to headquarters where he was processed and later posted bail. Ptlm. Goldman investigated.

On 8/25/2016 at 3:57 pm, Kevin Penkoski, 25, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with two counts each of Theft of Movable Property and Wrongful Impersonation after a detailed investigation. Mr. Penkoski was processed at HQ and released after posting $5,000 bail. Ptlm. Robbins investigated.

On 8/25/2016 at 2:54 am Levaughn Allen, age 28, of Plainfield was placed under arrest and charged with Hindering Apprehension and four counts of Contempt of Court. Mr. Allen's vehicle was stopped after a random plate check revealed the registered owner had a suspended license. While speaking with the officer during the traffic stop, Mr. Allen provided a false name and date of birth. Investigation later determined Mr. Allen had four active arrest warrants from Dunellen, South Brunswick, and Cranford along with a suspended drivers license. He was subsequently turned over to the South Brunswick Police department with a pending court appearance. Ptlm. Pepe investigated. 

On 8/24/2016 at 4:36 am, Omaru Barry, 22, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Eluding, Shoplifting, and Resisting Arrest after patrol was called to Quick Chek on the report of two male shoplifters. The suspects' vehicle fled and a short pursuit ensued. Mr. Barry was apprehended after bailing from the vehicle on Myrtle Ave in Plainfield. He was brought to headquarters for processing and later turned over to the Middlesex County Jail with bail set at $15,000. Investigation into the other actor remains ongoing. Ptlm. On 8/22/2016 at 8:37 pm, patrol took a report of three stolen bicycles on the 300 blk of New Market Rd. Investigation revealed that the bicycles were unsecured in the rear yard of the address while the owner was away on vacation. Ptlm. Nierodzik investigated.

On 8/22/2016 at 12:59 am, Daveydee Concepcion, 27, of Dunellen was arrest for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on Bound Brook Rd. Mr. Concepcion had a warrant for his arrest out of Plainfield.  Mr. Concepcion was transported to Dunellen HQ and released after posting bail. Ptlm. Goldman investigated.

On 8/19/2016 at 10:34 pm, Raymond Barna, 60, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest after patrol on a DWI enforcement detail observed Mr. Barna on the sidewalk in a highly intoxicated state. Upon contact he became combative. Mr. Barna was transported to the hospital and released with a court date. Ptlm. Nierodzik investigated.

On 8/19/2016 at 12:16 pm, patrol took a report of a stolen bicycle from Faber School. A short while later patrol observed the bicycle unattended near the intersection of North and Washington. The bicycle was returned to its lawful owner. Sgt. Chin investigated.

On 8/18/2016 at 10:27 pm, Bianca Webb, 24, of Piscataway was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop. Investigation revealed that Ms. Webb had a warrant for her arrest out of Plainfield.  She was arrested, processed, and released after posting bail. Ptlm. Goldman investigated.

On 8/13/2016 at 3:43 pm, patrol took a report of criminal mischief on the 200 blk of South Washington Ave.  The caller reported that their vehicle had a tire slashed on the previous night. There were no suspects. Ptlm. Holovacko investigated.

On 8/13/2016 at 1:18 am, Tamir Johnson, 21, of Plainfield was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and Being Under the Influence of a Controlled Dangerous Substance following a motor vehicle stop on the 200 block of North Ave. Following an investigation, Mr. Johnson was placed under arrest and transported to Dunellen Police HQ for processing. He was later brought to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital for testing and released to the hospital with a notice to appear in court. Ptlm. Goldman investigated.

On 8/11/2016 at 1:36 am, Yaqub Abdur-Rahman, age 26, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Hindering Apprehension and Possession of Less than 50 grams of Marijuana. The vehicle was stopped after obstructing traffic and failing to keep right. Investigation determined that Mr. Abdur-Rahman provided a false name to officers to avoid being summonsed for driving with a suspended license. A quantity of marijuana was also located within the vehicle. Mr Abdur-Rahman was arrested, processed, and subsequently released with a pending court appearance. Ptlm. Pepe investigated.

On 8/10/2016 at 7:52 am, Dwayne Brown, 33, of Piscataway was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana Under 50 grams and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop on North Washington Ave. He was also found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest out of Piscataway. Mr. Brown was transported to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with court dates in Dunellen and Piscataway. Ptlm. Goldman investigated.

On 8/9/2016 at 11:13 pm, patrol took a walk in report of two stolen bicycles at the Dunellen Train Station. The victims stated that both black Mongoose bicycles had been locked at the station earlier that day but noticed they were now gone. Ptlm. Nierodzik investigated

On 8/9/2016 at 2:36 am, Kenneth Burns, 53, of Piscataway was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Front St. Mr. Burns was transported to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober party with a court date. Ptlm. Nierodzik investigated.

On 8/8/2016 at 7:59 pm, patrol officers responded to a Front St residence for the report of neglected animals. Following a joint investigation between Dunellen Police and SCPA Police, two dogs were taken into custody for their safety. Charges against the owner are pending. Ptlm. Nierodzik investigated.

On 8/8/2016 at 1:06 am, Francisco Ramirez, 40, of Middlesex Borough was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop. The vehicle was stopped after failing to observe two stop signs. Mr Ramirez was found to have a suspended and expired drivers license along with two active warrants for his arrest. He was arrested, processed, and released after posting bail. Ptlm. Pepe investigated.

On 8/7/2016 at 10:10 am, Josue Gonzalez, 22, of Middlesex Borough was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop for an equipment violation. Investigation revealed that Mr. Gonzalez had a warrant for his arrest out of Watchung.  He was arrested, processed, and released with a new court date. Ptlm. Lovell investigated

On 8/2/2016  at 9:22 pm, Breanna Davidson, 21, of Dunellen, Devon Scuccimarri, 18, of Piscataway Township and a 15 year old juvenile from Piscataway Township were charged with Aggravated Assault, Robbery, and Conspiracy.  The victim came into police headquarters on 08/01/20216 to report of an assault that occurred during the early hours of the morning on North Ave.  Investigation revealed that Ms. Davidson, Mr. Scuccimarri and the juvenile physically assaulted a male as he walked home to his residence.  The three subjects repeatedly punched, kicked and used an "arm bar" on the victim as they searched his pockets and fled with his headphones. As a result of the assault, the victim sustained several injuries requiring medical attention. Ms. Davidson and Mr. Scuccimarri were also charged with Employing a Juvenile in Commission of a Crime and were lodged at Middlesex County Adult Corrections Center in lieu of $50,000 bail.  The juvenile was subsequently lodged in Middlesex County Juvenile Detention Center.  Ptlm. On 8/1/2016 at 4:18 am, Jason Johnson, 38, of Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court after officers responded to a West Fourth St. address for the report of an assault and criminal mischief. During the investigation it was discovered that Mr. Johnson had several warrants for his arrest.  Mr. Johnson was transported to headquarters for processing and custody was later transferred to the South Plainfield Police Department on one of the warrants.
