On 8/31/2020 at 7:02 pm, Monique Bosetti, 60, of South Bround Brook was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct after patrol was called to a residence on North Ave Extension. Ms. Bosetti was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to medical staff for an evaluation. Ptlm. Patrick Barry investigated.

On 8/28/2020 at 1:51 am, Michael Burke, 62, of Somerset was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on the 600 blk of Bound Brook Rd. Mr. Burke was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober family member. Ptlm. Patrick Barry investigated.

On 8/26/2020 at 11:50 pm, Joel Lopez-Ramos, 33, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on the 600 blk of Bound Brook Rd. Mr. Lopez-Ramos was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober friend. Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik investigated.

On 8/26/2020 at 1:46 pm, patrol responded to the rear of Bakery Delight on North Ave for the report of Trespassing. The property owner complained of several individuals trespassing behind the property. Ptlm. Michael Lowder investigated.

On 8/23/2020 at 2:14 pm, patrol responded to a residence on Prospect ave for the reported Heroin Overdose. The victim, a 44 year old male, was administered Narcan and transferred to medical personnel for transport to the hospital. Sgt. Christopher Lovell investigated.

On 8/23/2020 at 9:58 am, Aldo Chavez, 35, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Weapon and Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose after patrons at Diane's O'Matic Wash on North Ave called police for the reported fight. According to witnesses, Mr. Chavez drew a knife after instigating an argument with another patron about who was to use the clothes washing machine next. Mr. Chavez was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court date. Ptlm. Joseph Green investigated.

On 8/22/2020 at 12:02 pm, Henry Murkey, 62, of Piscataway was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. Mr. Murkey was found to have a no-bail warrant out of the Union County Sheriff's Office. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released after receiving a new court date. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 8/21/2020 at 3:24 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of assault. The victim, a Dunellen resident, reported that she had been jogging in the area of South Washington and Walnut when an unknown male had grabbed and squeezed her inappropriately before fleeing East on foot. The male was described as hispanic, in his mid to late 20s, wearing blue or black shorts, a black shift, short curly hair, and a blue face mask. This case remains open. Sgt. Christopher Lovell investigated.

On 8/20/2020 at 11:35 pm, David Kababik, 32, of Bridgewater was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on South Washington Ave. Mr. Kababik was found to have a warrant for his arrest out of Hillsborough in the amount of $550. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released after posting bail. Ptlm. Keith Irons investigated.

On 819/2020 at 4:47 pm, Sherry Freeman, 44, of Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. Ms. Freeman was found to have warrants out of Piscataway and Union totaling $1,600. She was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to Piscataway PD on their warrants. Ptlm. Keith Irons investigated.

On 8/17/2020 at 10:26 pm, Timothy Sullivan, 53, of Middlesex was arrested for Contempt of Court after being observed by patrol and known to have a warrant for his arrest out of Raritan Boro. Mr. Sullivan was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a new court date. Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik investigated.

On 8/17/2020 at 8:42 pm, William Henyecz, 50, of Piscataway was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on New Market Rd. A 911 caller reported that Mr. Henyecz had struck a vehicle in Green Brook and fled the scene. He was brought to Dunellen and Green Brook HQ's for processing and later released to a sober friend. On 8/17/2020, Jaden Wilson, 19, of Dunellen was charged with Burglary (4 cts) in relation to incidents of MV Burglary and MV Theft on 6/1 and 6/5 (four incidents). Mr. Wilson was charged and processed at the Somerset County Jail where he was already remanded on other matters. Det. Joe Dudley investigated.

On 8/16/2020, Johnny Ivery, 50, of Plainfield was charged with Shoplifting following investigation into an incident at Quick Chek on 8/14/2020. Mr. Ivery was identified by law enforcement and mailed a complaint summons. Ptlm. Kevin Condus investigated.

On 8/16/2020 at 3:10 am, Christian Villegas-Bustos, 28, of Dunellen was arrested for Possession of Marijuana Under 50g and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (2 cts) following a motor vehicle stop for speeding on West Fourth St. Additionally, Mr. Villegas-Bustos was found to have several warrants out of Middlesex Borough totaling $1,500. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released with new court dates. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 8/14/2020 at 9:07 pm, Isiah Benbow, 22, of Piscataway was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Being Under the Influence of a Controlled Dangerous Substance following a call to Quick Chek on North Ave by concerned staff. Mr. Benbow was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober family member. Ptlm. Joseph Green investigated.

On 8/14/2020 at 11:55 am, patrol responded to Quick Chek on North Ave for the report of Shoplifting. Staff reported that an unknown male had shoplifted a pint of Ice Cream and fled towards Plainfield on a bicycle prior to police arrival. Ptlm. Kevin Condus investigated.

On 8/12/2020 at 12:39 am, Sergio Carbajal-Portal, 19, of Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court following a bicycle stop on Front St. Mr. Carbajal-Portal was found to have warrants out of Dunellen and Middlesex totaling $1,300. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released after receiving new court dates. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 8/10/2020 at 9:34 pm, Zaire Blanchard, 22, of Piscataway was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. Mr. Blanchard was found to have a warrant for his arrest out of Bridgewater in the amount of $750. He was transported to Dunellen HQ for processing and released after posting bail. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 8/10/2020 at 3:22 am, patrol received a walk-in report of Theft by Deception. The victim reported that they had sent an unknown person $1,000 for an online purchase which turned out to be a scam. Ptlm. Joseph Green investigated.

On 8/10/2020 at 3:59 am, Thomas Muldowney, 63, of Toms River was arrested for Contempt of Court following a premise check at the Dunellen Train Station. Mr. Muldowney was found to have a warrant out of Metuchen in the amount of $2,500. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later transported to Metuchen PD on their warrant. Ptlm. On 8/9/2020 at 2:49 am, Miguel Pabon, 41, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Refusal to Provide Breath Samples following a motor vehicle stop on Bound Brook Rd. Mr. Pabon was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing where he refused to provide breath samples. He was later released to a sober family member. Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik investigated.

On 8/8/2020 at 10:40 pm, patrol responded to the 500 blk of Sanford Ave for the report of Theft. The victim reported that her 14 year old son had been in the are of North and Washington between 6 and 7 pm and set down a backpack containing several cell phones and various other items. The backpack was inadvertently left and later removed by an unknown person. Sgt. Brian Robbins investigated.

On 8/7/2020 at 7:40 am, patrol responded to Columbia Park for the report of Criminal Mischief. Dunellen Public Works reported that an unknown individual had spray painted graffiti on a bench. Ptlm. Michael Lowder investigated.

On 8/6/2020 at 5:08 am, Brenda Oneal, 56, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated after patrol was called to the report of a woman driving over several front lawns on North Ave Extension. The involved vehicle was located several blocks away and Ms. Oneal was subsequently arrested and brought to Dunellen HQ for processing. She was later released to a sober friend. Ptlm. On 8/5/2020 at 8:12 am, Tehuti Brown, 36, of Piscataway was mailed a complaint summons charging him with Forged Writing after attempting to pass off a counterfeit $100 at Family Dollar on North Ave. Staff advised that they were contacting the police and Mr. Brown promptly fled the area but was identified via investigation and surveillance footage. Ptlm. Kevin Condus investigated.

On 8/4/2020 at 3:32 am, John Sherry, 40, of Middlesex was arrested and charged with Possession of Heroin and Possession of a Hypodermic Needle after patrol observed him passed out behind the wheel in the parking lot of Zupko's Tavern and further investigated. Mr. Sherry was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court appearance notice. Ptlm. Patrick Barry investigated.

On 8/1/2020 at 9:31 am, patrol responded to the 100 blk of Prospect Ave for the report of Criminal Mischief. The victim reported that an unknown person had slashed two of the tires on their parked vehicle. The victim believed that this was part of an ongoing neighbor dispute over parking. Ptlm. Kevin Condus investigated.

On 8/1/2020 at 5:23 am, patrol on the 200 blk of Whittier located a parked vehicle which had been reported Stolen out of Edison several days prior. Edison Detectives responded to process the vehicle and it was later turned over to the owner. Ptlm. Keith Irons investigated.
