On 12/29/2018 at 3:16 pm, patrol responded to the 500 blk of Fourth St. for the report of Credit Card Fraud. The victim reported fraudulent charges of $1,196.54 made at an Apple Store. Ptlm. James Daniel investigated.

On 12/29/2018 at 12:51 pm, patrol responded to the 200 blk of North Ave for the report of Burglary and Criminal Mischief to a motor vehicle. The victim reported that an unknown person had smashed the front windshield to his work vehicle, slashed several tires, and stole several hundred dollars worth of tools. Ptlm. Christopher Lovell investigated.

On 12/29/2018 at 11:53 am, patrol received a walk-in report of Credit Card Fraud. The victim, a Dunellen resident, stated that an unknown person fraudulently charged $435.49 to her credit card. Ptlm. James Daniel investigated.

On 12/28/2018 at 10:21 pm, Markens Alphonse, 47, of Old Bridge was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. Mr. Alphonse was found to have an active warrant for his arrest out of Union Twp. in the amount of $1,000.  He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released after posting bail. On 12/27/2018 at 5:07 pm, patrol responded to the 500 blk of Mountainview Terrace for the report of Credit Card Fraud. The victim reported fraudulent charges of $1,191.16 at an Apple Store. Ptlm. Kevin Condus investigated.

On 12/25/2018 at 10:34 pm, patrol responded to the 300 blk of Madison Ave for the report of a Burglary. The victim reported that a person had forced entry through a first floor window and stolen $150 in US Currency as well as a television. This case was forwarded to the Detective Bureau for follow-up. On 12/23/2018 at 9:27 pm, Laketha Gregory, 43, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Defiant Trespass, Resisting Arrest, Hindering Apprehension, Obstructing Admin of Law, and Refusal to Submit Fingerprints following police response to an incident on the 100 blk of North Ave. Additionally, Ms. Gregory provided a false name to officers to conceal three warrants for her arrest out of Westfield and Plainfield totaling $2,500. Ms. Gregory was remanded to the Middlesex County Jail on the above charges. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 12/23/2018 at 7:54 pm, Kiana Bender, 30, of Dunellen was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on Madison Ave. Ms. Bender was found to have warrants out of Dunellen and Piscataway totaling $1646. She was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released after posting bail. Ptlm. Keith Irons investigated.

On 12/23/2018 at 11:58 am, patrol responded to the 700 blk of Second St for the report of Harassment. The victim reported receiving a threatening note. Ptlm. Jonathan DeAngelo investigated.

On 12/21/2018 at 4:35 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Debit Card Fraud. The victim reported a fraudulent charge of $109. Ptlm. Kevin Condus investigated.

On 12/19/2018 at 8:28 am, patrol responded to Diane's O'Matic Wash on North Ave for the report of Property Damage. The employees reported damage to one of the entry doors. Ptlm. Christopher Lovell investigated.flexfacts

On 12/19/2018 at 1:21 am, Delvon Green, 24, of North Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave in which he was a passenger and not wearing a seatbelt. Mr. Green was found to have a warrant for his arrest out of Newark in the amount of $2,500. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released after receiving a new court date. Ptlm. On 12/18/2018 at 10:55 pm, Lynda Carreker-Burton, 60, of Irvington was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave in which she was a passenger and not wearing a seatbelt. Ms. Carreker-Burton was found to have warrants for her arrest out of East Brunswick, Manville, and South Bound Brook totaling $2,000. She was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to East Brunswick PD on their warrant. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 12/17/2018 at 8:23 am, patrol responded to the 200 blk of Mountainview Terrace for the report of Identity Theft. The victim reported that an unknown person had opened several lines of credit in his name. This case remains open. Ptlm. Kevin Condus investigated.

On 12/15/2018 at 7:20 am, patrol responded to the 300 blk of Third St. for the report of a package theft. The victim reported the theft of several packages delivered to her front porch on 12/13/2018. Ptlm. James Daniel investigated.

On 12/14/2018, Gerber Leon-Garcia, 34, of North Plainfield was charged with Driving While Intoxicated following investigation into a serious motor vehicle accident on Bound Brook Rd. on 11/28/2018. Mr. Leon-Garcia was issued a court appearance date. Sgt. Jeffrey Delbuono investigated.

On 12/14/2018 at 12:40 am, Carlos Lopez-Abrego, 21, of Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on Front St. Mr. Lopez-Abrego was found to have an active warrant for his arrest out of Plainfield. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to Plainfield PD on their warrant. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 12/12/2018 at 8:56 pm, Arnoldo Veliz-Chamale, 61, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Sexual Assault of a Victim Under 13 (2 cts) and Endangering the Welfare of a Child following investigation into an incident reported on 12/6/2018. He was processed at Dunellen HQ and later remanded to the Middlesex County Jail. Det. Joe Dudley investigated.

On 12/11/2018 at 7:06 pm, patrol responded to Family Dollar on North Ave for the report of Shoplifting. Staff reported that a male had entered the store and stolen 22 bottles of shampoo valued at $131.50, fleeing prior to police arrival. This case remains open. Ptlm. Brian Robbins investigated.

On 12/10/2018 at 9:38 am, patrol responded to Quick Chek on North Ave for the report of a Shoplifting. Staff reported that a male had entered the store and stolen several Red Bull energy drinks, fleeing before police arrival. This case remains open. Ptlm. Christopher Lovell investigated.

On 12/7/2018 at 5:58 pm, patrol responded to the 800 blk of Front St. for the report of Theft by Deception. The victim reported receiving a phone call from a person falsely claiming to be from PSE&G whom demanded a $400 pre-paid gift card be sent to him or that he would turn the victim's power off. The money was sent. Ptlm. Kevin Condus investigated.

On 12/7/2018 at 4:12 pm, Douglas Rodriguez-Cuellar, 24, and Jean-Pierre Nole, 25, both of Dunellen were arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana Under 50g after patrol was called to the 300 blk of Penfield Pl for the report of individuals consuming CDS in a motor vehicle. Both were brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court date.

On 12/6/2018 at 8:51 pm, patrol received a report of Sexual Assault of a minor. This case was forwarded to the Detective Bureau for follow-up. Ptlm. Matthew Rosofsky investigated.

On 12/5/2018 at 12:01 am, patrol responded to the 300 blk of Prospect Ave for the report of a Drug Overdose. Patrol encountered a 33 year old male experiencing a Heroin Overdose and initiated life saving measures until care was turned over to the Dunellen Rescue Squad and he was transported to the hospital. Sgt. Jeffrey Delbuono and Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman responded.

On 12/3/2018 at 12:50 pm, patrol took a walk-in report from a representative of Provident Bank in regards to $1,198.25 in fraudulent charges. Ptlm. Jonathan DeAngelo investigated.

On 12/2/2018 at 1:58 am, Jesus Osorio-Urbina, 47, of Bound Brook was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on North Washington Ave. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober family member. Ptlm. Brian Robbins investigated.
