On 2/28/2019 at 11:57 pm, patrol responded to Zupko's Tavern on North Ave for the report of Simple Assault. All parties were explained the process for signing a complaint with the court. Ptlm. Christopher Lovell investigated.

On 2/28/2019 at 7:34 pm, patrol responded to Sun Power Gas for the report of Theft. The employee reported that an unknown person had taken $50 worth of fuel and left without making payment. Ptlm. Christopher Lovell investigated.

On 2/27/2019 at 2:20 pm, Kevin Morse, 27, of Basking Ridge was charged with Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest, and Simple Assault following police response to an incident of an intoxicated and disorderly person on the 100 blk of North Washington Ave. Mr. Morse was transported to the hospital for an evaluation and the court appearance notice was mailed. On 2/26/2019 at 9:04 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Theft of a cell phone. Sgt. Jeffrey Delbuono investigated.

On 2/26/2019 at 6:52 pm, Jennifer Crisp, 40, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass and Burglary following police response to the report of a woman that unlawfully entered an occupied dwelling as well as a parked vehicle on the 400 blk of Second St. Ms. Crisp was subsequently located nearby peering into the windows of another home and placed under arrest. Additionally, warrants for her arrest were located out of Elizabeth and Cranford totaling $1,250 as well as a full extradition warrant out of Bucks County, PA. Ms. Crisp was processed and later remanded to the Middlesex County Jail. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 2/19/2019 at 10:49 pm, patrol responded to the 300 blk of Dunellen Ave for the report of Criminal Mischief. The victim reported that an unknown person had caused damage to their parked motor vehicle. Ptlm. Christopher Lovell investigated.

On 2/19/2019 at 1:32 pm, Gerber Leon-Garcia, 34, of Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on Prospect Ave. Mr. Leon-Garcia was found to have a warrant for his arrest out of Bound Brook. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released after posting bail. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 2/17/2019 at 10:51 pm, patrol responded to Eight on the Break on North Ave for the report of Theft. The victim reported that an unknown person had stolen her wallet and keys. After review of the security footage, Tyjuan Pryor, 42, of Piscataway was mailed a summons charging him with Theft of Mislaid Property. Ptlm. Keith Irons investigated.

On 2/16/2019 at 9:57 pm, Daniel Soriano, 35, of Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on Walnut St. Mr. Soriano was found to have a warrant for his arrest out of Plainfield. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released after posting bail. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 2/16/2019 at 10:20 am, patrol responded to the 700 blk of Walnut St. for the report of Criminal Mischief. The victim reported that an unknown person had slashed a tire on their parked vehicle overnight. Ptlm. Jonathan DeAngelo investigated.

On 2/16/2019 at 3:14 am, Sharon Barron, 37, of Jackson was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Refusal to Submit Breath Samples following a motor vehicle stop on North Washington Ave. She was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober family member. On 2/15/2019 at 10:34 pm, Daeshawn Dowdy, 25, of North Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on New Market Rd. Mr. Dowdy was found to have warrants for his arrest out of Bloomfield and Plainfield. He was brought to Dunellen HQ and later released after posting bail and receiving new court dates. Ptlm. On 2/15/2019 at 9:28 am, patrol received a walk-in report of Theft by Deception. The victim reported that an unknown person posing as a representative of the Social Security Administration had scammed them out of $2,700. Ptlm. Kevin Condus investigated.

On 2/14/2019 at 8:57 pm, patrol responded to the 400 blk of Madison Ave for the report of Criminal Mischief. The victim reported damage to a screen on his residence. Ptlm. Patrick Barry investigated.

On 2/13/2019 at 5:09 pm, patrol responded to the 600 blk of Dunellen Ave for the report of Criminal Mischief. The victim reported that an unknown person had used a black marker to draw a phallic symbol on the trunk of their parked motor vehicle. Ptlm. Matthew Rosofsky investigated.

On 2/13/2019 at 4:07 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Credit Card Fraud. The victim reported fraudulent charges of $329. Sgt. Christopher Beenders investigated.

On 2/12/2019 at 9:19 pm, patrol responded to the 400 blk of Jefferson Ave for the report of a Stolen License Plate. It was reported that sometime during the day an unknown person had removed the license plate from the victim's parked vehicle. Sgt. Jeffrey DelBuono investigated.

On 2/12/2019, Michael Machonis, 23, of Bridgewater was charged with Bad Checks and Theft by Deception following investigation into an incident originally originally reported on 9/10/2018. Mr. Machonis was mailed a court appearance notice. Det. Brian O'Neill investigated.

On 2/8/2019 at 7:49 am, patrol responded to the 700 blk of Second St. for the report of Fraud. The victim reported that she had received several fraudulent charges on her credit card of approximately $1,000. This case has been forwarded to the Detective Bureau. Ptlm. Matthew Rosofsky investigated.

On 2/5/2019 at 11:46 am, Bianca Webb, 26, of Piscataway was arrested and charged with Hindering Apprehension and Contempt of Court following a premise check at the train station. A short while earlier, patrol had received a call to the 300 blk of North Ave for the report of a female that had defecated in the elevator. Ms. Webb was located at the train station matching the description given and had also been found to have defecated in the waiting area of the train station. After providing officers with a fictitious name to conceal warrants out of South Orange and Newark she was placed under arrest. Ms. Webb was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with court dates. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 2/5/2019 at 8:00 am, patrol responded to the 700 blk of Second St. for the report of Burglary to a motor vehicle. The victim reported two unlocked vehicles were accessed by an unknown person and that approximately $500 in items had been stolen. Ptlm. James Daniel investigated.

On 2/5/2019 at approximately 7:53 am, patrol responded to the 700 blk of Second St for the report of Criminal Trespass to a vehicle. The victim reported that an unknown person had accessed their unlocked vehicle, rummaging through the contents but locating no items of value to steal. Ptlm. Matthew Rosofsky investigated.

On 2/5/2019 at approximately 6:44 am, patrol responded to the 400 blk of First St. for the report of a stolen motor vehicle. The victim reported that their Chevy Silverado, which had been left unsecured and with the keys in the vehicle, was stolen. The vehicle was later recovered by Edison PD. This case remains open and has been forwarded to the Detective Bureau. Ptlm. Patrick Barry investigated.

On 2/4/2019 at approximately 11:46 pm, patrol responded to the 400 blk of Madison Ave for the report of a Burglary to a motor vehicle. The victims reported that an unknown person had accessed both of their unlocked vehicles, stealing approximately $10 worth of change. Ptlm. Patrick Barry investigated.

On 2/4/2019 at 7:45 pm, patrol responded to the 300 blk of Madison Ave for the report of a Burglary to a motor vehicle. The victim reported that an unknown person had accessed their unlocked vehicle stealing approximately $50 worth of items and currency. Ptlm. Patrick Barry investigated.

On 2/3/2019 at 10:47 am, patrol responded to Family Dollar on North Ave for the report of shoplifting. The caller reported an unknown male had stolen soap and bodywash, fleeing the area before police arrival. Ptlm. Kevin Condus investigated.

On 2/2/2019 at 10:43 pm, Samuel Bryant, 58, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Hindering Apprehension and Contempt of Court following a bicycle stop on North Ave for equipment violations. Mr. Bryant provided a fictitious name in order to conceal multiple warrants for his arrest out of Plainfield. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to Plainfield PD on their warrants. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.
