On 2/27/2017 at 11:45 pm, Zynameon Bradley, 26, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana Under 50 grams and Hindering Apprehension following a motor vehicle stop. Mr. Bradley gave a false name and was also found to have warrants out of Plainfield and the Middlesex County Sheriff's Office totaling $11,330.29. Mr. Bradley was processed at Dunellen HQ and issued a court date. He was then transferred to the custody of the Plainfield Police Dept on their warrant. Ptlm. Nicholas Pepe investigated.

On 2/27/2017 at 2:42 pm, patrol responded to the Dunellen High School for an activated fire alarm. After no fire was found, investigation with school officials of the security footage showed a student activate the alarm pull station.  The student was identified and charged with causing False Public Alarm. Ptlm. Christopher Lovell investigated.

On 2/24/2017 at 2:25 am, Lolita Padro, 30, of Dunellen and Willie Torres Jr., 26, of Philadelphia were both arrested and charged with Obstructing the Administration of Law after police were called to a Prospect Ave residence for the report of a fight.  The subjects attempted to close the door of the residence on the responding officers, capturing one of the officers in the doorway, and continued to try and close the door. Once the officer broke free from being pinned in the doorway, both subjects were placed under arrest. Additionally, Ms. Padro was found to have warrants out of Bridgewater and Manville totaling $1,741.00. She was issued new court dates on the warrants and both parties were released with a court date in Dunellen after processing. Ptlm. Nicholas Pepe investigated.

On 2/24/2017 at 12:21 am, Danny Moncayo, 23, of Middlesex was arrested and charged with Possession of Under 50 grams of Marijuana following investigation into a suspicious vehicle parked in the lot of Crown Bank on the 300 block of Front St. Arriving patrol observed Mr. Moncayo actively using marijuana in the vehicle. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court date. Ptlm. Nicholas Pepe investigated.

On 2/23/2017 at 2:55 am, Lised Naranjo, 23, of Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on the 100 blk of Jackson Ave. Ms. Naranjo was found to have an active warrant for her arrest out of Plainfield. She was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released after posting bail. Ptlm. Nicholas Pepe investigated.

On 2/25/2017 at 1:42 am, Dashan Green, 25, of Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on West Fourth St. Mr. Green was found to have an active warrant for his arrest out of Plainfield. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to the Plainfield Police Department on their warrant. Sgt. Doherty investigated.

On 2/24/2017 at 2:37 pm, patrol responded to the 200 blk of Dunellen Ave for the report of an unresponsive female in a vehicle. Officers and responding medical personnel observed signs of a possible heroin overdose and administered two doses of Narcan to the patient. The 28 year old Hillsborough resident did regain consciousness and was turned over to EMS for transport to the hospital.  Sgt. Beenders, Ptl. Goldman and Ptl. DeAngelo responded.

On 2/18/2017 at 11:08 am, patrol responded to Faber Elementary School for the report of an unresponsive female. Officers found a 44 year old Dunellen resident with signs of a possible overdose. Three doses of Narcan were administered. The patient regained consciousness and was turned over to EMS for transport to the hospital.  Ptl. Robbins and Sgt. Chin responded.

On 2/19/2017 at 12:40 am, Zaccaria Teresi, 22, of Somerville was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on Prospect Ave. Mr. Teresi was found to have an active warrant for his arrest out of Burlington City. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a new court date. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 2/18/2017 at 8:32 pm Pedro Silva, 25, of Piscataway was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on Route 28. Mr. Silva was found to have an active warrant out of Plainsboro. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released after posting bail. Ptlm. Nicholas Pepe investigated

On 2/18/2017 at 1:45 am, Jessica Ruiz, 40, of Plainfield was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. Ms. Ruiz was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober party. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 2/17/2017 at 8:52 pm, Hakeem Parker, 27, of Plainfield was arrested for Hindering Apprehension and Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on the 100 blk of North Ave. During the stop, Mr. Parker provided a fictitious name knowing that he had several warrants for his arrest. He was found to have warrants out of Carteret, Fanwood, and Plainfield, totaling $1,997. Mr. Parker was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to the Carteret Police Dept on their warrant. Investigation by Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman.

On 2/16/2017 at 2:35 pm, Steven Williams, 49, of Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court after a motor vehicle stop on the 200 blk of North Ave. Investigation revealed that Mr. Williams had an active warrant for his arrest out of the Union County Sheriff's Office. He was taken to Dunellen PD for processing and later turned over to the Sheriff's Office. Investigation by Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman.

On 2/15/2017 at 4:00 pm, Jackelyn McCann, 29, of Dunellen was arrested for Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card and Contempt of Court following an investigation into an incident which occurred in August 2016. Ms. McCann was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court date. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 2/15/2017 at 1:45 am, D'nea Heyward, 20, of Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on Route 28. Ms. Heyward was found to have an active warrant out of Middlesex Borough. She was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to Middlesex Borough Police. Ptlm. On 2/12/2017 at 12:50 am, Bryan Contreras, 18, of Bound Brook was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and Underage Possession/Consumption of Alcohol following a motor vehicle stop of a vehicle driving recklessly on the 200 Block of North Ave.  Mr. Contreras was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober party.  Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 2/11/2017 at 11:55 am, Jason Brown, 20, of South Plainfield was arrested and charged with Hindering Apprehension and Possession of Marijuana Under 50 Grams after police were called to investigate a suspicious vehicle on the 400 blk of North Ave. During the investigation Mr. Brown provided a fictitious spelling of his name and attempted to conceal drugs from officers by tossing them under the vehicle. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court date. Ptlm. Jonathan DeAngelo investigated.

On 2/9/2017 at 11:18 pm, Christshel Dunn, 54, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Shoplifting, Hindering Apprehension and False Reports to a Police Officer following a motor vehicle stop on New Market Road after staff at Quick Chek had called police to report a shoplifting incident.  A vehicle and suspect description were given by staff and the car was quickly located by patrol.  Upon speaking with officers, Ms. Dunn gave the false name and pedigree information and found to be in possession of 68 packs of gum which had been stolen from the Quick Chek.  Ms. Dunn was transported to Dunellen HQ for processing and later transferred to the Middlesex County Jail on the charges. On 2/8/2017 at 11:57 pm, Christina Rugbeer, 28, of Green Brook was arrested and charged with Unlawful Taking of a Means of Conveyance, Possession of CDS (Heroin), Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Contempt of Court and Fugitive from Justice.  Patrol initially responded to the report of a stolen vehicle on the 600 block of Bound Brook Road. The vehicle was recovered on the 600 blk of Front St. along with information identifying the suspect whom was known to the victim. Further investigation revealed the suspect had warrants out of Newark totaling $35,125, as well as a no bail warrant out of Montgomery County, PA. Patrol canvassed the area and eventually located Ms. Rugbeer, taking her into custody without incident.  Ms. Rugbeer was processed and given court dates for the Dunellen and Newark charges. She was transferred the Middlesex County Jail awaiting extradition on the warrant from Pennsylvania. Ptlm. Nicholas Pepe investigated.

On 2/8/2017 at 5:36 pm, patrol took a report of a vehicle stolen from the 200 blk of Front St. Several hours later, Piscataway Police recovered the vehicle on the 1800 blk of West Fourth St. The vehicle was impounded to be returned to its rightful owner. On 2/8/2017 at 2:25 pm, Nylizia Cagle, 20, of Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court after responding to Dunellen HQ to retrieve her vehicle from impound. Ms. Cagle was known to have an active warrant for her arrest out of Plainfield. She was processed and released after posting bail. Ptlm. Christopher Lovell investigated.

On 2/8/2017 at 12:18 pm, Robin Day, 42, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct following an incident on the 500 blk of Bound Brook Rd. Patrol had responded to a nearby apartment for an individual needing medical attention. Ms. Day, upon seeing officers, began to cause a scene, yelling obscenities at the officers and physically interfering to the point that it was disrupting the medical attention. Ms. Day was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court date. Ptlm. Brian Robbins investigated.

On 2/6/2017 at 8:02 am, Brian Mayfield, 46, of Elizabeth, was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop for an equipment violation on the 300 blk of North Ave.  Mr. Mayfield was found to have an active warrant for his arrest out of Bradley Beach Boro and brought to Dunellen HQ for processing.  He was released after posting bail.  Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 2/5/2017 at 1:45 am, Eric Locke, 27, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Possession of a Weapon, and Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose.  Patrol was initially called to a motor vehicle accident with a fleeing party.  Investigation revealed an assault which had taken place regarding an alleged narcotics transaction that had preceded the motor vehicle accident.  Mr. Locke was processed and released with a court date. On 2/4/2017 at 11:16 pm, Kyle Valentin, 20, and Brian Fields, 20, both of Plainfield were arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop. Mr. Valentin was found to have an active arrest warrant out of Plainfield and Mr. Fields had an active arrest warrant out of North Plainfield.  Both were taken to Dunellen HQ for processing. Mr. Valentin was released after posting bail.  Mr. Fields was turned over to the North Plainfield Police Department.  Ptlm. Nicholas Pepe investigated.

On 2/3/2017 at 11:44 pm, Jonathan Caiza, 19, of North Plainfield was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop on Prospect Ave.  The drugs were located packaged for sale in a false bottom container and he was found to be in possession of a large amount of currency.  He was processed and released with a court date.  Patrolman Nicholas Pepe investigated.

On 2/1/2017 at 9:46 pm, patrol responded to the 700 blk of Center St. for the report of a burglary to a residence. Investigation revealed that an unknown person had forced their way into the rear door of the residence and ransacked the home, taking an as of yet undetermined amount of belongings. Investigation has been turned over to the Detective Bureau. Contact Det. Joe Dudley, ext. 239, if you have any information regarding this incident.

On 2/1/2017 at 3:28 am, Travis Page, 20, of Dunellen was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on the 200 blk of Columbia St.  Mr. Page was found to have a no-bail warrant out of the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later transferred to the Middlesex County Jail. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 2/1/2017 at 12:58 am, Alexis Henderson, 19, of Washington was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on Prospect Ave. Ms. Henderson was found to have an active warrant out of Point Pleasant Beach. She was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released after posting bail. Ptlm. Nicholas Pepe investigated.
