On 1/30/2018 at 10:12 pm, David Hoffman, 24, of Edison was arrested and charged with Possession of Under 50 Grams of Marijuana following a motor vehicle stop on the 200 blk of North Ave. Additionally Mr. Hoffman had an active arrest warrant out of Elizabeth. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released after posting bail. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 1/30/2018 at 8:50 am, patrol took a walk-in report of Credit Card Fraud from a resident of North Washington Ave. Ptlm. Jonathan DeAngelo investigated.

On 1/30/2018 at 1:40 am, Carlos Cardenas-Ramos, 56, of Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on Lincoln Ave for an equipment violation. Mr. Cardenas-Ramos was found to have an active warrant for his arrest out of Plainfield. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to Plainfield PD on their warrant. Ptlm. On 1/28/2018 at 4:21 pm, patrol responded to Eight on the Break on North Ave for the report of an individual who had passed a counterfeit $100 bill. This incident remains open. Ptlm. Christopher Lovell investigated.

On 1/28/2018 at 4:03 pm, a resident of the 300 blk of Prospect Ave reported Credit Card Fraud in the amount of $424.  Ptlm. James Daniel investigated.

On 1/28/2018 at 1:09 am, patrol received a walk-in report of Simple Assault from four victims who claimed that they were assaulted by 6-8 males on the 300 blk of North Ave. All refused medical treatment. Ptlm. Matthew Rosofsky investigated.

On 1/26/2018 at 12:28 am, Jahmal Lindquist, 30, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Hindering Apprehension following investigation into a motor vehicle stop on 1/25/2018 where Mr. Lindquist had provided officers with a fictitious name to conceal warrants out of Plainfield, Green Brook, and Piscataway totaling $2,289. Mr. Lindquist was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to Plainfield PD on their warrant. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 1/24/2018 at 12:42 pm, Philip Fladger, 47, of Somerset was arrested and charged with Taking Merchandise Without Intent to Pay, Robbery by Force, Theft, and Simple Assault following investigation into an incident on 11/12/2017. Mr. Fladger was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later remanded to the Middlesex County Jail. Ptlm. Brian Robbins investigated.

On 1/22/2018 at 6:44 am, patrol responded to the DPW yard on Hall St. for the report of damage to multiple vehicles. An unknown person had accessed the yard and smashed the mirrors on multiple DPW vehicles. Ptlm. James Daniel investigated.

On 1/21/2018 at 11:03 pm, Ricardo Portables, 27, of Edison was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on South Washington Ave. Mr. Portables was found to have a warrant for his arrest out of Perth Amboy. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released after posting bail. Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik investigated.

On 1/21/2018 at 1:15 am, Amber Pennyfeather-Williams, 28, of Cliffwood was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on South Washington Ave. Ms. Pennyfeather-Williams was found to have warrants out of Aberdeen and Plainfield. She was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released after posting bail. Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik investigated.

On 1/19/2018 at 11:41 pm, Nestor Crespo Jr., 46, of Dunellen was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. Mr. Crespo Jr. was found to have warrants out of Dunellen, Plainfield, New Brunswick, Bound Brook, and North Plainfield totaling $4,450, as well as a no-bail warrant from the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office. Mr. Crespo Jr. was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later transferred to the Middlesex County Jail on the Dunellen warrants. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 1/19/2018 at 2:56 am, Joshua Lopez, 20, of Bound Brook was arrested and charged with Hindering Apprehension following a motor vehicle stop on Walnut St. Mr. Lopez was a passenger in the vehicle and not wearing a seatbelt. He provided officers with a fake name to avoid a summons. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court date. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 1/19/2018 at 1:13 am, George Gabienu, 37, of Somerville was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct following a pedestrian stop for urinating in public. Mr. Gabienu became disorderly during the stop and was taken into custody. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court date. Ptlm. Brian Robbins investigated.

On 1/16/2018 at 4:46 pm, Gregory Noonan, 24, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Theft of Movable Property and Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card following investigation into an incident on 12/6/2017. Mr. Noonan was processed and Dunellen HQ and released with a court date. Ptlm. Jonathan DeAngelo investigated.

On 1/16/2018 at 12:02 am, Wanda Alpha, 54, of Manville was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on Bound Brook Rd in which she was a passenger. Ms. Alpha was found to have a warrant for her arrest out of New Brunswick. She was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to New Brunswick PD on their warrant. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 1/16/2018 at 12:02 am, Monique Traski, 40, of Manville was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on Bound Brook Rd for misuse of highbeams. Ms. Traski was found to have a warrant for her arrest out of Manville. She was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to Manville PD on their warrant. Ptlm. On 1/14/2018 at 4:46 pm, patrol received a walk in report of bank fraud in the amount of $220. This case remains open. Ptlm. James Daniel investigated.

On 1/12/2018 at 11:04 am, patrol took a walk-in report of bad checks. The victim was advised to sign complaints through the court. Ptlm. James Daniel investigated.

On 1/12/2018 at 10:43 am, patrol took a walk-in report of Harassment from a resident of Fourth St. Ptlm. Christopher Lovell investigated.

On 1/12/2018 at 6:11 am, Lisa Strond, 58, of Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court after patrol observed her wandering into traffic on South Washington Ave. She was found to have multiple warrants out of Plainfield totaling $875. Ms. Strond was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and turned over to Plainfield PD on their warrants. Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik investigated.

On 1/10/2018 at 3:03 pm, patrol responded to Family Dollar for the report of an unwanted person whom had been banned for shoplifting. The person fled prior to police arrival and was unable to be located. Ptlm. Jonathan DeAngelo investigated.

On 1/9/2018 at 3:35 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of a residential burglary and theft from a resident of North Ave. Proceeds were approximately $5,000 and the crime occurred approximately two months prior to being reported. This case remains open. Det. Brian O'Neill investigated.

On 1/3/2018 at 4:27 pm, patrol responded to the 500 blk of Grove St. for the report of a package theft. The victim reported the theft of a package valued at $75. Ptlm. James Daniel investigated.

On 1/2/2018 at 11:57 pm, Jonard Hall, 25, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana Under 50 grams following a motor vehicle stop on South Washington Ave. Mr. Hall was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court date. On 1/2/2018 at 9:00 am, patrol received a walk-in report of a Burglary to a Motor Vehicle from a resident of Pulaski St. The victim reported that the burglary had occurred to his unlocked vehicle on the evening of 12/28 and that a wallet was stolen. Sgt. Prescott Chin investigated.
