On 1/31/2017 at 5:10 am, Michael Kromphold, 50, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Burglary, Criminal Trespass, and Theft of Movable Property after patrol was called to a vacant home on the 300 blk of Whittier Ave.  Officers observed Mr. Kromphold in the basement of the home actively removing sections of copper pipe. Additionally, Mr. Kromphold was found to have an outstanding warrant out of Dunellen.  Mr. Kromphold was remanded to the Middlesex County Jail awaiting trial.  Ptlm. Goldman investigated.

On 1/31/2017 at 2:16 am, Alexander Sandaire, 24, of Irvington was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Weapon following a motor vehicle stop on the 100 blk of North Ave.  Mr. Sandaire was transported to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court date. Ptlm. Pepe investigated.

On 1/29/2017 at 7:22 pm, Ptlm. Nierodzik and Ptlm. Daniel responded to the 200 blk of Mountain View Terrace for the report of a residential burglary. Proceeds taken were approximately $45,000 in cash. Further investigation has been turned over to Det. Dudley.

On 1/28/2017 at 1:31 am, Cristh Vasquez, 27, of Plainfield was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on Bound Brook Rd. Ms. Vasquez was determined to be intoxicated following field sobriety testing and placed under arrest. Additionally, warrants from Plainfield, Watchung, and Scotch Plains totaling $1,750 were located. Ms. Vasquez was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to the Plainfield Police Department on their warrant. Ptlm. Goldman investigated.

On 1/27/2017 at 12:30 am, Tajmierah Nevius, 22, of Bound Brook was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop in the parking lot of Mike's Subs. Investigation revealed that Ms. Nevius had an active warrant out of Bound Brook.  Ms. Nevius was transported to Dunellen HQ for processing and was later released after posting bail.  Ptlm. Pepe investigated.

On 1/25/2017 at 2:32 am, Bruce Hodges, 51, of Dunellen was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on the 100 blk of Sanford Ave. Mr. Hodges was transported to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober party. Ptlm. Goldman investigated.

On 1/19/2017 at 6:15 pm, Brian Tinsley, 33, of Irvington, Shonte Harris, 25, of Plainfield, and Arielle Warren, 34, of Plainfield, were all arrested for Contempt of Court following the stop of a motor vehicle with no registration plate on the 600 blk of Bound Brook Rd. Investigation revealed that Mr. Tinsley had 9 warrants for his arrest out of Elizabeth, Clark, and Union Twp totaling $3,250. Ms. Harris had a $500 warrant out of Hanover, and Ms. Warren had an active warrant out of Plainfield. All three were placed under arrest and transported to Dunellen HQ for processing. Ms. Harris and Ms. Warren were released after posting bail. Mr. Tinsley was turned over to Elizabeth Police Dept on their warrants. Several pieces of suspected shoplifted merchandise were recovered from the vehicle pending further investigation. Ptlm. Goldman investigated.

On 1/18/2017 at 6:45 pm, Donna Carreker, 48, of Somerville was arrested for Shoplifting following an investigation by the detective bureau into an incident at Family Dollar on 6/5/2016. Ms. Carreker was processed at Dunellen HQ and released with a court date. Det. O'Neill investigated.

On 1/16/2017 at 10:24 pm, Dawan Thompson, 47, of Piscataway was arrested for Contempt of Court after officer's responded to a reported shoplifting at Quick Chek. Investigation revealed that Mr. Thompson had an active arrest warrant out of the Middlesex County Sheriff's Office. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released after posting bail. Ptlm. Goldman investigated.

On 1/16/2017 at 8:18 pm, Miguel Cruz, 25, of Dunellen was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on Dunellen Ave.  Investigation revealed an active warrant out of Plainfield.  Mr. Cruz was transported to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released after posting bail.  Ptlm. Pepe investigated.

On 1/10/2017 at 1:39 am, patrol received an automatic plate reader notification of a stolen vehicle parked on the 300 blk of Orange St. The vehicle was secured and returned to it's rightful owner. Ptlm. Nierodzik investigated.

On 1/7/2017 at 11:43 pm, Jose Colaj-Cahuil, 22, of Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on South Ave. Mr. Colaj-Cahuil was found to have an active arrest warrant out of Bound Brook. Mr. Colaj-Cahuil was placed under arrest and transported to Dunellen HQ for processing. He was released after posting bail. Ptlm. Goldman investigated.

On 1/7/2017 at 4:12 pm, Michael Kromphold, 50, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct after patrol was called to the Dunellen Train Station for the report of an intoxicated person harassing the public. Mr. Kromphold was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court date. Ptlm. Lovell investigated.

On 1/5/2017 at 9:51 pm, Latoya Harrison, 31, of North Brunswick was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on North Washington Ave. Ms. Harrison was found to have an active arrest warrant out of Union Twp. Ms. Harrison was placed under arrest and transported to Dunellen HQ for processing. She was later released with a new court date in Union. Sgt. Doherty investigated.

On 1/4/2017 at 12:34 am Shawn Murkey, 22, of Plainfield was placed under arrest for Hindering Apprehension and Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop. Mr. Murkey was stopped after the taxi cab he was operating displayed a rejected inspection sticker. Investigation determined he provided a false name to officers in order to conceal a suspended license and two arrest warrants from Plainfield. Mr. Murkey was transported to headquarters where he was processed and subsequently turned over to the Plainfield Police Department. Ptlm. Pepe investigated

On 1/2/2017 at 9:08 am, patrol responded to the Cash for Gold store on North Ave for the report of a burglary the previous night. Investigation revealed that an unknown person had smashed the front door and stole silver from the glass case. Investigation was turned over to the Detective Bureau. Please contact Det. Dudley if you have any information in this matter.

On 1/1/2017 at 5:43 am, Sergio Navarro, 22, of Riverdale was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on North Washington Ave. He was transported to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober party. Ptlm. Holovacko investigated.
