On 7/19/2017 at 2:15 am, patrol observed a parked vehicle on the 400 blk of First St which had been reported stolen in Green Brook on 7/11/2017. The vehicle, a Toyota Camry, was secured and turned over to Green Brook PD. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 7/16/2017 at 1:29 am, patrol received a walk-in report of a stolen license plate. A resident of the 200 blk of Front St. reported that an unknown person had stolen their front license plate during the overnight hours. The plate was entered as stolen and the victim was advised to secure new registration plates from the DMV. Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik investigated.

On 7/15/2017 at 12:42 pm, patrol responded to the 400 blk of Dunellen Ave for a report of criminal mischief. The resident reported that sometime during the overnight hours an unknown person had removed several solar lights and scattered garbage throughout their lawn. Sgt. Christopher Beenders investigated.

On 7/15//2017 at 2:09 am Altariek Williams, 20, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Theft of Movable Property and Attempted Burglary following investigation into a burglary from a motor vehicle on the 100 blk of Second St on 6/26/2017. Mr. Williams was apprehended after fleeing from Middlesex Borough Police in a stolen vehicle and crashing on Railroad Ave. in Dunellen. Mr. Williams was transported to the Middlesex County Jail. Det. Brian O'Neill investigated.

On 7/13/2017 at 12:03 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of attempted fraud. A resident of Second St. reported a scam in-progress. It was determined that no pecuniary loss had occurred and the victim was advised to cease contact. Ptlm. Christopher Lovell investigated.

On 7/11/2017 Ronald Perry, 44, of Roselle Park was arrested and charged with Harassment, Providing Alcohol to a Minor, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, and Certain Persons Not to Possess Weapons following investigation into a report of inappropriate touching on North Avenue in front of Eight of the Break on 06/07/17.  He was transported to Middlesex County Jail on a warrant for the above charges.  Det. Joe Dudley investigated.

On 7/11/2017 at 3:30 am, Ronald Perry, 44, of Roselle Park was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief and Burglary following an incident on Prospect Ave.  Mr. Perry was transported to the Middlesex County Jail on a warrant for the above charges. Det. Joe Dudley investigated.

On 7/10/2017 at 11:11 am, patrol received a walk in report of theft. A resident of Prospect Ave reported that person(s) unknown removed several items of his clothing which were drying outside. Sgt. Christopher Beenders investigated.

On 7/9/2017 at 1:21 am, patrol observed a motorcycle on the 200 blk of North Ave recklessly operating on the sidewalk and narrowly avoiding pedestrians. A pursuit was initiated but ultimately terminated before the subject could be identified. This incident remains open. Ptlm. Nicholas Pepe investigated.

On 7/7/2017 at 5:29 pm, Carlos Gonzaga-Bonilla, 32, of Newark was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. Investigation revealed a warrant for Mr. Gonzaga-Bonilla out of Newark. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released after being issued a new court date. Ptlm. Nicholas Pepe investigated.

On 7/7/2017 at 3:48 am, patrol responded to the 100 blk of Madison Ave for the report of a Burglary. The caller stated that they heard a loud noise and patrol observed a gutter which had been ripped down as if someone attempted to climb it. Ptlm. James Daniel investigated.

On 7/4/2017 at 2:46 pm, Jason Hicks, 36, of Parlin was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. Investigation revealed an active warrant for Mr. Hicks out of Woodbridge. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released after posting bail. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 7/1/2017 at 8:05 am, patrol in the area of the 100 blk of Dunellen Ave observed a parked vehicle whose driver's side window had been smashed out. Investigation revealed the cause as a burglary to a motor vehicle, with proceeds of $20 in U.S. Currency. Detective Joe Dudley responded to secure physical evidence from the scene. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 7/1/2017 at 5:40 am, patrol responded to the 100 blk of Dunellen Ave for the report of a burglary to a motor vehicle in progress. The caller reported an unknown black male wearing a red shirt and dark pants with a bandana covering his face going through their vehicle.  Police searched the area and observed an individual matching the description given by the victim, but the subject fled on foot into Plainfield before police could approach him. Ptlm. James Daniel investigated.
