On 6/30/2021 at 4:06 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Burglary. The victim reported that several days earlier he had left his vehicle unlocked and a handicapped placard had been stolen. Sgt. Christopher Lovell investigated.

On 6/27/2021 at 6:27 pm, Trivone Alson, 31, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct following investigation into an Assault. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court appearance date. Ptlm. Patrick Barry investigated.

On 6/25/2021 at 11:30 pm, Luis Rodriguez-Guttierez, 34, of Middlesex was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated at a Sobriety Checkpoint on the 100 blk of North Ave. Mr. Rodriguez-Guttierez was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober family member. On 6/25/2021 at 11:23 pm, Rebecca Zirger, 44, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Refusal to Submit Breath Samples at a Sobriety Checkpoint on the 100 blk of North Ave. Ms. Zirger was brought to Dunellen and Middlesex HQ's for processing where she refused to provide breath samples. She was later released to a sober family member. Ptlm. Joseph Green investigated.

On 6/25/2021 at 11:20 pm, Irving Cepeda, 31, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated at a Sobriety Checkpoint on the 100 blk of North Ave. Mr. Cepeda was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober friend. Ptlm. Keith Irons investigated.

On 6/24/2021 at 12:36 pm, patrol responded to Family Dollar on North Ave for Shoplifting. Staff reported that an unknown older black male wearing black pants and a camo shirt stole $105 worth of Dove soap and bodywash, fleeing westbound on a bicycle. Ptlm. Kevin Condus investigated.

On 6/17/2021 at 7:58 pm, patrol responded to the 200 blk of South Washington Ave for the reported Assault. The victim reported being assaulted by three Hispanic males whom he saw earlier while playing soccer in Columbia Park. The suspects fled prior to police arrival. Ptlm. Michael Lowder investigated.

On 6/16/2021 at 11:14 am, patrol responded to the 500 blk of Grove St. for the report of Burglary to an unlocked motor vehicle. The victim reported that two vehicles which had been left unlocked had been rummaged through and some personal contents removed, sometime during the prior few days. Ptlm. Joe Dudley investigated.

On 6/13/2021 at 1:25 am, Tajeeanah Ross, 27 of Newark was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated after being observed asleep behind the wheel of her running vehicle on Grove St. Ms. Ross was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober friend. Ptlm. Michael Lowder investigated.

On 6/11/2021 at 4:04 am, Rhawsheen Ross, 40, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following police response to a motor vehicle accident on Bound Brook Rd. Mr. Ross was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober family member. Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik investigated.

On 6/6/2021 at 6:35 pm, patrol responded to the 800 blk of Second St. for the report of Theft. The victim reported that a moped had been stolen from his unlocked garage. Several hours later the stolen moped was recovered in North Plainfield. Ptlm. Joseph Green investigated.

On 6/5/2021 at 12:38 am, Hernan Romo, 59, of Manville was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. Mr. Romo was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober family member. Ptlm. Keith Irons investigated.

On 6/1/2021 at 5:56 pm, Steven Niflis, 26, of Raritan was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest following police response to the report of Disorderly Conduct on the 600 blk of Bound Brook Rd. Mr. Niflis was transported to the hospital for a medical evaluation and released with a court appearance notice. Ptlm. Kevin Condus investigated.

On 6/1/2021 at 5:31 pm, Michael Nahaczewski, 37 of Mountainside was arrested for Contempt of Court following response to a welfare check on the 100 blk of Front St. Mr. Nahaczewski was recognized as being wanted on a no-bail warrant out of Mountainside. He was taken into custody and transported to the hospital for a medical evaluation where he was turned over to Mountainside PD. Ptlm. Joseph Green investigated.

On 6/1/2021 at 1:34 am, Eric Nelson, 38, of Dunellen was arrested and changed with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Walnut St. Mr. Nelson was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober friend. Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik investigated.
