On 3/20/2020 at 2:30 am, Michael Renavitz, 50, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana Under 50g and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia following a call to a residence on Lincoln Ave. Mr. Renavitz was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court date. During the investigation, several firearms were seized from the residence pending further investigation. After release, Mr. Renavitz was also issued a charge for Possession of a High Capacity Ammunition Magazine and mailed a court appearance notice. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 3/19/2020 at 11:20 am, patrol responded to Family Dollar on North Ave for the report of Theft. Staff reported that an unknown male had entered the store and taken $260 from an unattended register before fleeing on a bicycle. This case remains open. Ptlm. Kevin Condus investigated.

On 3/16/2020 at 4:25 pm, Jennifer Burgess, 35, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Throwing Bodily Fluids on Law Enforcement, Eluding, Aggravated Assault on Police, Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest, and Terroristic Threats During State of Emergency following an incident at Dunellen Auto Glass on the 100 blk of North Ave. Patrol had been called to the same location earlier in the day for the report of Ms. Burgess, whom was not a customer, acting in a highly disorderly manner. Upon attempting to make contact, Ms. Burgess fled in a motor vehicle at a high rate of speed, refusing to stop for officers. A short while later, Ms. Burgess returned to the scene and again was acting disorderly. Officers attempted to effect an arrest, at which time she punched, kicked, and spit on them, threatening to infect them with a communicable disease. Ms. Burgess was transported to Robert Wood Johnson New Brunswick for a medical evaluation and later remanded to the Middlesex County Jail. Sgt. Christopher Lovell investigated.

On 3/15/2020 at 9:10 am, patrol received a walk-in report of Identity Theft. The victim reported that several unauthorized accounts had been opened in his name. Ptlm. Kevin Condus investigated.

On 3/13/2020, Bonnie Grimshaw, 36, of Middlesex was charged with Disorderly Conduct following investigation into an incident on 3/4/2020. Ms. Grimshaw was mailed a court appearance notice. Ptlm. Brian O'Neill investigated.

On 3/9/2020 at 9:50 pm, Christopher Zwatschka, 27, of South Plainfield was arrested and charged with Terroristic Threats, Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct, and Aggravated Assault on Law Enforcement (2 Cts) after patrol was called to the 700 blk of Second St for the report of an intoxicated and disorderly male. Mr. Zwatschka was transported to the hospital for an evaluation and turned over to medical staff. Ptlm. Keith Irons investigated.

On 3/7/2020 at 10:31 pm, Moses Johnson, 57, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop. Mr. Johnson was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober friend. Ptlm. Matthew Rosofsky investigated.

On 3/7/2020 at 10:25 am, patrol received a walk-in report of Theft. The victim reported that an unknown person had accessed their bank account and removed $4,306. Ptlm. Joseph Green investigated.

On 3/6/2020 at 11:45 pm, Kyeonia Boatwright, 26, of Middlesex was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on the 400 blk of Front St. Ms. Boatwright was found to have warrants out of Dunellen and Plainfield totaling $1,250. She was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later remanded to the Middlesex County Jail. Ptlm. Patrick Barry investigated.

On 3/6/2020 at 7:32 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Theft. The victim reported that her purse and contents had been stolen while at Zupko's Tavern. The items were later recovered at Endzone Bar in Middlesex. This case remains open. Ptlm. Patrick Barry investigated.

On 3/6/2020 at 1:18 am, Darlenne Santelises, 28, of Perth Amboy was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on Bound Brook Rd. Ms. Santelises was found to have a warrant for her arrest out of Dunellen. She was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released after receiving a new court date. Ptlm. On 3/4/2020 at 5:18 pm, Rogelio Dominguez, 53, of Middlesex was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following police response to a motor vehicle accident on the 600 blk of Bound Brook Rd. in which Mr. Dominguez had struck a parked car. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober family member. Ptlm. Kevin Condus investigated.

On 3/4/2020 at 4:12 pm, a 17 year old male, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest following an altercation outside of Police HQ. He was released with a court appearance notice. Sgt. John Doherty investigated.

On 3/4/2020 at 9:36 am, Luz Anguieta, 38, of Bound Brook was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct following police response to an incident on the 300 blk of Orange St. A 17 year old male, of Plainfield, was also arrested on the same incident and charged with Possession of a Weapon. Both were released with court notices. Ptlm. Brian O'Neill investigated.

On 3/4/2020 at 2:50 am, Darryl Judah, 35, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Handgun, Receiving Stolen Property, Criminal Trespass, and Contempt of Court following a premise check at the Dunellen Train Station. Officers observed Mr. Judah inside of the closed waiting room after hours. Once identified, a warrant for his arrest was located out of South Plainfield. Once placed under arrest, a search of his person yielded a Sig Sauer handgun loaded with nine .22 cal bullets. The firearm had been previously reported stolen out of Piscataway. Mr. Judah was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later remanded to the Middlesex County Jail. Ptlm. Patrick Barry investigated.

On 3/3/2020 at 12:46 pm, a 14 year old male juvenile, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest, and Aggravated Assault on Law Enforcement after patrol was called to the 300 blk of Walnut for the report of an individual whom had attacked a mail carrier and taken items from him. The juvenile resisted apprehension and attacked officers. He was brought to the hospital for an evaluation and released to family there. Ptlm. James Daniel investigated.

On 3/1/2020 at 1:49 am, Orlando Williams, 51, of Piscataway was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Refusal to Submit Breath Samples following investigation into an individual passed out behind the wheel in the parking lot of Quick Chek. Mr. Williams was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing where he failed to provide sufficient breath samples. He was later released to a sober friend. Ptlm. Keith Irons investigated.

On 3/1/2020 at 1:41 am, Deandre Robinson, 19, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Hindering Apprehension following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave Ext. in which he provided a fictitious identity to officers. Mr. Robinson was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court date. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.
