On 3/29/2017 at 8:42 pm, patrol responded to an apartment complex on the 400 blk of North Ave for the report of trespassing. Upon arrival, an individual was identified whom had been formally evicted by the Middlesex County Sheriff's Office. This person was again removed from their former residence. Ptlm. On 3/27/2017 at 4:00 pm, a resident of Whittier Ave responded to Dunellen HQ for the report of Harassment. The male reported that an unknown person has been sending him harassing messages as well as posting his information on-line for others to harass. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 3/26/2017 at 5:25 am, Carlos Hernandez, 30, of Plainfield was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Possession of Marijuana Under 50g following police response to the 300 blk of Front St. for the report of a suspicious person attempting to gain entry to the residence through a window. Mr. Hernandez was issued a summons to appear in court and turned over to the Dunellen Rescue Squad for injuries sustained from his level of intoxication. Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik investigated.

On 3/25/2017 at 7:08 pm, Martin Aguirre, 53, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest after interfering with officers investigating an incident on the 300 blk of Second St. Mr. Aguirre was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court date. Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik investigated.

On 3/25/2017 at 6:55 pm, patrol responded to the 600 blk of South Ave for the report of an abandoned vehicle. Upon arrival, officers located an unoccupied Nissan Sentra with fresh damage. A check of the vehicle's registration revealed that it had been stolen out of Middlesex Borough earlier that morning. The car was turned over to Middlesex PD for processing before being returned to it's rightful owner. Sgt. Doherty investigated.

On 3/25/2017 at 1:28 am, patrol responded to the intersection of North and Washington for the report of an assault. The fighting was deemed to be mutually entered. Borough Ordinance violations were issued to both persons involved.

On 3/24/2017, a resident of High St. responded to Dunellen HQ to report several lugnuts missing from he vehicle's tire. The reporting party believes this was intentional mischief by an unknown party. Ptlm. Jon DeAngelo investigated.

On 3/22/2017 at 10:39 pm, Don Brodie, 47, of Plainfield was arrested for contempt of court following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. Mr. Brodie was found to have an active warrant for his arrest out of Plainfield. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released after posting bail.

On 3/22/2017 at 11:18 am, Cheryl Kennel, 56, of Dunellen was arrested for Contempt of Court following investigation into the report of a suspicious vehicle on Prospect Ave. Ms. Kennel was found two have three active warrants for her arrest out of Upper Township and Woodbridge. She was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released after receiving new court dates. Ptlm. Christopher Lovell investigated.

On 3/22/2017 at 1:19 am, Douglas Marti, 24, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop after police received a report of a reckless driver leaving Quick Chek. Mr. Marti was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober friend. Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik investigated. 

On 3/20/2017 at 11:55 pm, Allan Anderson, 55, of Green Brook was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Hall St. Mr. Anderson was transported to Dunellen HQ for processing where he provided breath samples. After processing, Mr. Anderson was released to a sober friend pending court. Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik investigated.

On 3/20/2017 at 12:22 pm, Kevin Lopez, 23, of Dunellen was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on South Washington Ave. Mr. Lopez was found to have an active warrant for his arrest out of Dunellen. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released with a new court date after posting bail. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 3/20/2017 at 12:05 am Amir Martin, 32, of Plainfield was placed under arrest following a motor vehicle stop on Jackson Ave. Mr. Martin was found to have two outstanding warrants from South Plainfield and Westfield.  He was brought to Dunellen HQ and later released after posting bail. Patrolman Nicholas Pepe investigated.

On 3/19/2017 at 11:53 pm, Nicholas Petrozelli, 21, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana Under 50g and Tampering with Evidence following a motor vehicle stop on South Washington Ave. Patrol observed Mr. Petrozelli toss a package containing marijuana from the vehicle upon initiation of a traffic stop for several moving violations. Mr. Petrozelli was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court date. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 3/19/2017 at 8:13 pm, Darryl Judah, 32, of Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court after patrol was called to the Dunellen Train Station for a report of Criminal Mischief. During the investigation, Mr. Judah was found to have warrants for his arrest out of Middlesex Boro and Bound Brook. He was placed under arrest and brought to Dunellen HQ for processing without incident. Mr. Judah was turned over to the Middlesex Boro PD on their warrant. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 3/17/2017 at 8:21 pm, Aliya Anderson-Smith, 37, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following receipt of blood test results and investigation into a serious motor vehicle accident which occurred in Dunellen on 3/2/2017. Ms. Anderson-Smith was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court date. Sgt. Delbuono investigated.

On 3/13/2017 at 12:07 am, Danielle Alfonso, 43, of Edison was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Refusing Breath Samples following a motor vehicle stop on North Washington Ave. Several empty alcohol containers were located in the vehicle. Ms. Alfonso was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober party. Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik investigated.

On 3/11/2017 at 11:57 pm, patrol received information regarding Terroristic Threats at the Dunellen High School. The Detective Bureau responded and a thorough investigation was launched. Ultimately it was determined that these threats were not credible. Det. Joe Dudley investigated.

On 3/11/2017 at 3:38 pm, Robert Androshick, 56, of Dunellen was arrested for Contempt of Court during a premise check of the Dunellen Train Station. Mr. Androshick was known to have an active warrant for his arrest out of Piscataway.  He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released after receiving a new court date. Ptlm. On 3/10/2017 at 6:48 pm, patrol was dispatched to Quick Chek for the report of shoplifting. Staff reported a theft of cigarettes valued at $78.60. After viewing security footage of the incident, the actor was identified as Jeffrey Moklak, 39, of Bridgewater. Mr. Moklak was then mailed a complaint summons for shoplifting at his current address, Middlesex County Jail, where he was currently being held on charges from other jurisdictions for similar incidents. On 3/9/2017 at 9:00 pm, patrol was dispatched to the 400 blk of Second St. for a residential burglary. The home was found ransacked and several items of value stolen. Det. Brian O'Neill investigated.

On 3/9/2017 at 1:36 am, Thomas Wagner, 37, of Point Pleasant was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer (2 counts), Throwing Bodily Fluids on a Police Officer with Injury, Hindering Apprehension, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Hypodermic Needle, and Resisting Arrest following a motor vehicle stop in which he was the passenger. Additionally, Mr. Wagner was found to have active arrest warrants from Freehold, Howell, and Jackson totaling $3,500. He was placed under arrest and transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick for injuries sustained. A Dunellen Police Officer was also injured and transported to the hospital for evaluation. A no-bail warrant was granted and custody of Mr. Wagner was transferred to the Middlesex County Sheriff's Office. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 3/8/2017 at 10:53 pm, Danielle Thompson, 41, of Middlesex was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest after interfering with officers attempting to conduct a motor vehicle stop at the Middlesex border. Ms. Thompson was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court date. Sgt. Jeffrey Delbuono investigated 

On 3/8/2017 at 4:48 pm, patrol responded to the 100 blk of Dunellen Ave for the report of a burglary and bicycle theft. Investigation revealed that an unknown actor entered the garage and stole a bicycle valued at $1,200. Sgt. Prescott Chin investigated.

On 3/7/2017 at 10:45 pm, Sean Lagrande, 23, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Possession of Under 50 Grams of Marijuana following a motor vehicle stop on North Washington Ave. Mr. Lagrande was arrested and brought to Dunellen HQ for processing before being released with a court date. Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik investigated. 

On 3/4/2017 at 10:49 pm, Gustavo Gaitan, 27, of Somerset was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on the 100 blk of North Ave. Investigation revealed that Mr. Gaitan had a $500 warrant out of Green Brook as well as a no-bail warrant out of the Union County Sheriff's Office. Mr. Gaitan was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released after posting bail and receiving new court dates. Ptlm. Christopher Lovell investigated.

On 3/3/2017 at 10:44 pm, Nestor Crespo Jr., 45, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Shoplifting  and Possession of Heroin after police were called to Quick Chek on North Ave for a report of  a shoplifting in progress. The stolen item was located on Mr. Crespo's person as well as several folds of heroin. Additionally, he was found to have an arrest warrant out of Bound Brook. Mr. Crespo was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released after posting bail. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 3/3/2017 at 9:10 pm, Ailyse Doyle, 59, of Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on the 100 blk of North Ave. Ms. Doyle was found to have a suspended driver's license as well as a warrant for her arrest out of North Plainfield. She was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released after posting bail. Sgt. John Doherty investigated.

On 3/3/2017 at 6:07 pm, patrol responded along with the Dunellen Fire Department to the 100 blk of North Ave for a couch on fire in a backyard. Fireworks were located nearby the couch. The Middlesex County Fire Marshall's Office assisted with the investigation. Ptlm. Christopher Lovell investigated.

On 3/2/2017 at 11:55 pm, Xavier Johnson, 22, of Newark was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on South Ave. Investigation revealed that Mr. Johnson had an active warrant for his arrest out of South Plainfield. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released after posting bail. Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik investigated.

On 3/1/2017 at 7:42 pm, Grant Carter, 26, and Frank Cucchiara, 31, both of Dunellen, were arrested and charged with Simple Assault following investigation into an incident which occurred on 2/24/2017 at approximately 1:00 am. Both were taken into custody without incident and released with a court date after processing. An active arrest warrant for a third suspect in this incident has been issued for Aggravated Assault. Det. Joe Dudley investigated.

On 3/1/2017 at 3:09 pm, patrol responded to the 100 blk of Pulaski St. for the report of stolen property and damage to a vehicle which occurred approximately one month prior. Patrol took a report of the vehicle's stolen battery as well as damage likely caused by thrown rocks. Ptlm. James Holovacko investigated.
