On 3/30/2022 at 7:23 pm, Fernando Castro, 42, of Dunellen was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on the 100 blk of Dunellen Ave. Mr. Castro was found to have a warrant for his arrest out of Robbinsville in the amount of $1,000. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released after posting bail. Ptlm. Keith Irons investigated.

On 3/26/2022 at 11:34 pm, Jonathan Najarro, 30, of Bound Brook was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on Bound Brook Rd. Mr. Najarro was found to have a warrant out of Linden in the amount of $500. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released after posting bail Ptlm. Michael Lowder investigated.

On 3/24/2022 at 11:08 am, patrol received a walk-in report of Theft by Deception. The victim, a resident of the 200 blk of First St., reported that he was conned into providing banking information resulting in an approximate loss of $16,000. Ptlm. Joe Dudley investigated.

On 3/23/2022 at 7:21 am, Mikal Jones Jr., 20, of Plainfield was apprehended by Det. Goldman and Det. DeAngelo with the assistance of the U.S. Marshall's Office who received information that Mr. Jones Jr. was staying in Plainfield. He had an active arrest warrant out of Dunellen, charging him with Unlawful Possession of a Handgun, Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of a Large Capacity Ammunition Magazine, and Possession of Hollow-point Ammunition. In addition the Dunellen's warrant, Mr. Jones Jr. had no-bail warrants out of the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office, Morristown PD, and Middlesex PD, as well as a $500 warrant out of Clark. Mr. Jones Jr. was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later remanded to the Middlesex County Jail. This case was originally investigated by Ptlm. Keith Irons.

On 3/22/2022 at 7:50 pm, Ebony Ross, 34, of Milltown was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. Ms. Ross was found to have a warrant for her arrest out of Union Twp. in the amount of $500. She was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released after posting bail. Ptlm. Michael Lowder investigated.

On 3/21/2022 at 11:18 am, patrol responded to the 300 blk of Prospect Ave for the report of Theft. The victim reported that an unknown person had removed the Catalytic Converter from their parked motor vehicle sometime during the overnight hours. Ptlm. Manuel Santiago investigated.

On 5/21/2022 at 7:24 am, patrol responded to the 700 blk of Walnut St. for the report of Theft. The victim reported that an unknown person had removed the Catalytic Converter from their parked motor vehicle sometime during the overnight hours. While on scene, an additional victim was located. On 3/21/2021 at 12:14 am, Kunjeshku Patel, 34, of Piscataway was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Refusal to Submit Breath Samples following a motor vehicle stop on South Washington Ave. Mr. Patel was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing where he refused to provide samples of his breath. He was later released to a sober friend. Ptlm. Anthony Issler investigated.

On 3/18/2022 at 9:07 pm, Washington Acosta-Fiallos, 38, and Monica Acosta-Fiallows, 40, both of Plainfield, were arrested and charged with Receiving Stolen Property following a motor vehicle stop on North Washington Ave in which they vehicle they were operating was displaying a stolen license plate. Both were brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court appearance notice. Ptlm. Anthony Issler investigated.

On 3/17/2022 at 9:29 pm, patrol responded to the 600 blk of First St. for the report of Criminal Mischief. The victim reported that their vehicle's window had been smashed by concrete. Ptlm. Manuel Santiago investigated.

On 3/17/2022 at 7:14 am, patrol responded to Quick Chek on North Ave for the reported Shoplifting. Staff reported that an unknown male had stolen several Red Bull energy drinks several hours earlier. Ptlm. Michael Lowder investigated.

On 3/13/2022 at 11:58 pm, Jose Garcia-Morente, 32, of Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. Mr. Garcia-Morente was found to have a warrant for his arrest out of Dunellen. Unable to post, he was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later remanded to the Middlesex County Jail. Ptlm. Keith Irons investigated.

On 3/12/2022 at 10:35 pm, Mynor Mazariegos-Escobar, 33, of Maryland was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Refusal to Submit Breath Samples following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. Mr. Mazariegos-Escobar was brought to Middlesex and Dunellen HQ's for processing where he refused to provide samples of his breath. He was later released to a sober friend. Ptlm. Keith Irons investigated.

On 3/12/2022 at 5:03 pm, patrol responded to the 100 blk of Front St. for the reported Theft. The victim reported that a package had been marked delivered but was apparently stolen. Ptlm. Manuel Santiago investigated.

On 3/12/2022 at 1:43 am, Jhanae Drayton, 30, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Jefferson Ave. Ms. Drayton was brought to Green Brook and Duneleln HQ's for processing and later released to a sober friend. Ptlm. Joseph Green investigated.

On 3/12/2022 at 1:11 am, Mark Jones, 52, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Bound Brook Rd. Mr. Jones was brought to Dunellen and Middlesex HQ's for processing and later released to a sober family member. Ptlm. Keith Irons investigated.

On 3/10/2022 at 9:43 pm, patrol responded to the 400 blk of Fairview Ave for the report of Burglary. The victim reported that an unknown person had forced entry to the home through a rear window, ransacked the residence, and removed a safe containing documents. This case was forwarded to the Detective Bureau. Ptlm. Anthony Issler investigated.

On 3/5/2022 at 11:44 pm, Reggie Carter, 48, of Somerset was arrested and charged with Theft, Hindering Apprehension, and Possession of Heroin after patrol was called to Zupko's Tavern for a male who had stolen a bottle of Remy Martin from behind the bar. Mr. Carter was located in the parking lot and subsequently provided officers with fictitious pedigree information. Once arrested, Mr. Carter was found to be in possession of 40 folds of heroin. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court date. Ptlm. Anthony Issler investigated.

On 3/4/2022  at 3:35 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Theft. The victim, a resident of Plainfield, reported that while at Diane's O'Matic Wash another patron had removed a bag containing several items of the victim's laundry. Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik investigated.

On 3/2/2022 at 4:37 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Fraud. The victim, a resident of the 200 blk of South Washington Ave, reported that she had nearly fallen victim to a common computer technical support scam in which the scammer attempted to remove $5,000 from her bank account but was not successful. Ptlm. Joseph Green investigated.
