On 5/30/2018 at 9:59 pm, David Samuels, 57, of Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on West Fourth St. Mr. Samuels was found to have a warrant for his arrest out of Dunellen. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released after posting bail. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 5/27/2018 at 6:11 pm, Safiya Morris, 27, of Piscataway was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on North Washington Ave. Ms. Morris was found to have a warrant for her arrest out of Westfield. She was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released after posting bail. Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik investigated.

On 5/26/2018 at 6:00 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Theft. The victim stated that they had lost their wallet earlier in the day. The wallet was since returned but was now missing the $200 that had been inside. This case remains open. Ptlm. Brian Robbins investigated.

On 5/26/2018 at 2:03 am, Aleesha Dunbar, 26, of Bridgewater was arrested for Contempt of Court after police response to South Madison Ave for the report of a female attempting to solicit rides from passing vehicles. Ms. Dunbar was found to have warrants out of Piscataway in the amount of $433, Newark for $2,500, and a no-bail full extradition warrant out of the Miami Dade Police Department in Florida. Ms. Dunbar was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later remanded to the Middlesex County Jail on her warrants. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 5/26/2018 at 12:12 am, Alexander Ward, 24, of North Plainfield was arrested for Theft (2 counts) and Possession of a Hypodermic Needle following police response to Roxy and Duke's Roadhouse on Bound Brook Road for the report of a stolen laptop and iPad. Mr. Ward was located nearby attempting to sell the items. He was then transported to Dunellen HQ for processing. Based on an incident at HQ, he was additionally charged with Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer. Mr. Ward was then released with a court date and transported for a medical evaluation. Ptlm. On 5/25/2018 at 1:24 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Theft of a cell phone. Later investigation revealed that the phone was not stolen, but lost. a short while later the phone was returned. Ptlm. Jonathan DeAngelo investigated.

On 5/24/2018 at 8:30 am, patrol responded to the Dunellen PD HQ Parking Lot for the report of (4) individuals fighting. It was determined to be a road rage incident that turned physical. Parties were separated and advised on the process for signing complaints with the court. Sgt. Christopher Beenders investigated.

On 5/23/2018 at 12:57 pm, patrol responded to Avenel Pallet Co. on South Second St. for the report of Theft. The victim reported the theft of a Tractor Cab Bucket Seat valued at $600. Sgt. Christopher Beenders investigated.

On 5/23/2018 at 12:10 pm, patrol responded to the 200 blk of Third St. for the report of a Burglary to a Motor Vehicle. The victim reported that sometime during the previous evening an unknown person had accessed her unlocked vehicle in the driveway and removed a bag containing several credit and debit cards. Ptlm. James Daniel investigated.

On 5/22/2018 at 9:01 pm, Michael Price, 26, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana Under 50 Grams following a motor vehicle stop for speeding on West Fourth St and a subsequent search of the vehicle. Mr. Price was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court date. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 5/22/2018 at 6:35 am, patrol responded to the 400 blk of North Washington Ave for the report of Criminal Mischief. The victim reported damage to their parked vehicle. Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik investigated.

On 5/20/2018 at 5:54 pm, patrol responded to the 400 blk of Grove St. for the report of a Burglary to a Motor Vehicle. The victim reported the theft of laptop valued at $1500, taken from his vehicle sometime in the previous few days. Ptlm. James Daniel investigated.

On 5/20/2018 at 2:00 pm, patrol responded to the 200 blk of South Washington Ave for a reported Road Rage incident. A report was generated and all parties were given information on signing complaints with the court. Ptlm. Christopher Lovell investigated.

On 5/20/2018 at 12:10 pm, Iris Hidalgo, 27, of Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on the 100 blk of North Ave. Ms. Hidalgo was found to have an active warrant for her arrest out of South Plainfield. She was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released after posting bail. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 5/19/2018 at 1:17 am, patrol responded to the report of physical altercation in front of 760 Bound Brook Rd. There was no fight upon police arrival however all parties were advised on the court process for signing a complaint of Simple Assault. Ptlm. Matthew Rosofsky investigated.

On 5/18/2018 at 8:13 am, patrol received a walk-in report of Debit Card Fraud. The victim, a Dunellen resident reported several fraudulent charges on their account totaling $541.22. Ptlm. James Daniel investigated 

On 5/17/2018 at 10:43 pm, Shaniqua McClenton, 35, of Carteret was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on the 300 blk of North Ave. Ms. McClenton was found to have an active warrant for her arrest out of Plainfield. She was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released after posting bail. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 5/17/2018 at 2:30 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Debit Card Fraud. The victim, a Dunellen resident reported several fraudulent charges on their account totaling $707.72. Sgt. Jeffrey Delbuono investigated.

On 5/15/2018 at 6:27 pm, Mauricio Bonilla, 20, of South Bound Brook was arrested for Contempt of Court after responding to Dunellen HQ on a separate matter and known by officers to have active warrants out of New Brunswick and South Brunswick. He was processed and released after posting bail. Ptlm. Christopher Lovell investigated.

On 5/15/2018 at 3:42 pm, Amir Martin, 33, and Sarina Eggleston-Spann, 25, both of Plainfield were arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana Under 50g and Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute following a motor vehicle stop in the parking lot of Station Plaza. Additionally, Ms. Eggleston-Spann was charged with Possession of Mace. Mr. Martin was also found to have multiple warrants for his arrest out of Plainfield. Middlesex County Sheriff's Officer Kevin Mastroserio and Narcotics Detection K-9 Bryn assisted in the stop. Both defendants were brought to Dunellen HQ for processing. Ms. Eggleston-Spann was released with a pending court date and Mr. Martin was remanded to the Middlesex County Jail. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 5/14/2018 at 1:15 pm, patrol responded to Quick Chek on North Ave for the report of a shoplifting. This incident remains open. Ptlm. Christopher Lovell investigated.

On 5/13/2018 at 7:26 pm, Michael Pereira, 30, of Middlesex was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer (2 cts), Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest, and Terroristic Threats after police were called to the report of a male causing a disturbance in the lot of Quick Chek. Mr. Pereira became combative with responding officers attempting to effect an arrest. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later transferred to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital for an evaluation before being remanded to the Middlesex County Jail. Ptlm. On 5/13/2018 at 2:28 am, Jonathan Meadows, 54, of Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave for an equipment violation. Mr. Meadows was found to have a warrant for his arrest out of North Brunswick. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released after posting bail. Ptlm. On 5/12/2018 at 10:07 pm, Kenneth Visner, 43, of North Plainfield was arrested and charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia following investigation into a parking violation at Quick Chek. With the assistance of Middlesex County Sheriff's Officer Kevin Mastroserio and K-9 Bryn, several items of narcotics paraphernalia were located in Mr. Visner's vehicle. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court date. Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik investigated.

On 5/11/2018 at 10:21 am, Fernando Bautista, 27, was arrested and charged with Hindering Apprehension following a motor vehicle accident at North and Washington.  Mr. Bautista provided investigating officers with a fictitious name to conceal the fact that he did not have a driver's license. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court date. Ptlm. Jonathan DeAngelo investigated.

On 5/10/2018 at 12:56 pm, Raul Rivera, 53, of Dunellen was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. Mr. Rivera was found to have an active warrant for his arrest out of Plainfield. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to Plainfield PD on their warrant. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 5/9/2018 at 10:9:51 pm, Christopher Amatangelo, 33, of Kendall Park was arrested for Contempt of Court after police were called to a residence on Grove St. Mr. Amatangelo was found to have a warrant for his arrest out of Hopewell Twp. He was brought to Dunellen HQ and released after receiving a new court date. Ptlm. Matthew Rosofsky investigated.

On 5/9/2018 at 3:10 am, Herica Arias-Orozco, 34, of Piscataway was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Bound Brook Rd. Ms. Arias-Orozco was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober family member. Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik investigated.

On 5/8/2018 at 10:41 pm, Cinque Jones, 29, of Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court following a bicycle stop on North Ave. Mr. Jones was found to have a warrant for his arrest out of Plainfield. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released after posting bail. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 5/7/2018 at 4:54 pm, patrol responded to the 200 blk of Front St. for the report of a Burglary to a motor vehicle. The victim reported that an unknown person had accessed her unlocked vehicle and stolen a laptop. Ptlm. Jonathan DeAngelo investigated.

On 5/8/2018 at 4:35 pm, patrol responded to the 300 blk of Third St. for the report of a Burglary to a motor vehicle. The victim reported the loss of $85 in cash as well as multiple credit cards. This case remains open. Det. Joe Dudley investigated.

On 5/8/2018 at 5:15 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Theft. The victim reported that she had been shopping at Tropical Supermarket when her cell phone had been left unattended and was subsequently stolen. Sgt. Christopher Beenders investigated.

On 5/6/2018 at 3:43 pm, patrol responded to Dunellen Rescue Squad for the report of a Burglary and Theft. It was reported that a radio had been stolen. Ptlm. James Daniel investigated.

On 5/6/2018 at 3:29 pm, patrol responded to the 500 blk of North Ave for the report of a Burglary to a motor vehicle. The victim reported that their unlocked vehicle had been accessed and roughly $10 in change stolen. Sgt. Christopher Beenders investigated.

On 5/6/2018 at 8:30 am, patrol responded to the 500 blk of Front St. for the report of a Burglary to a motor vehicle. The victim reported that an unknown person had accessed his vehicle during the overnight hours and stolen several tools. Later, all items stolen were located nearby and returned to the owner. Sgt. Christopher Beenders investigated.

On 5/3/2018 at 10:52 am, John Dallessandro, 50, of Dunellen was arrested for Contempt of Court after patrol observed him walking and knew that he had several warrants for his arrest. Warrants were confirmed out of South Plainfield and Green Brook totaling $2,000. Mr. Dallessandro was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to Green Brook PD on their warrant. On 5/2/2018 at 9:18 pm, Devon Stradford, 26, of Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop at the Plainfield border. Mr. Stradford was found to have an active warrant for his arrest out of Union County in the amount of $6,141. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to the Union County Sheriff's Office. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 5/1/2018 at 3:13 pm, patrol responded to Quick Chek on North Ave for the report of a Shoplifting incident which occurred the day prior. This case remains open. Ptlm. Christopher Lovell investigated.
