On 11/27/2017 at 7:12 pm, Raymond Forteau-Morris, 26, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Theft of Movable Property and Fraudulent Credit Card Use following investigation into a a motor vehicle burglary on the 400 blk of Mountainview Terrace on 9/22/2017. Mr. Forteau-Morris was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing before being remanded to the Middlesex County Jail. Det. Joe Dudley investigated. 

On 11/27/2017 at 4:38 pm, patrol took a report if Check Fraud from a Dunellen resident. This incident remains open. Ptlm. Jonathan DeAngelo investigated. 

On 11/27/2017 at 11:26 am, patrol took a report of shoplifting from Family Dollar on North Ave which occurred sometime the previous day. This incident remains open. Sgt. Christopher Beenders investigated. 

On 11/26/2017 at 10:23 pm, David Reynolds, 23, of Bound Brook was arrested for Contempt of Court following investigation into a suspicious person walking on the railroad tracks. Mr. Reynolds was found to have an active no-bail warrant out of South Bound Brook. Mr. Reynolds was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to South Bound Brook PD on their warrant. Ptlm. Matthew Rosofsky investigated.

On 11/26/2017 at 2:29 am, Ariel Ruiz, 22, of Staten Island was arrested and charged with Hindering Apprehension following a motor vehicle stop on North Washington Ave in which he was a passenger. Mr. Ruiz gave a fictitious name to officers and was found to have a warrant from Jersey City in the amount of $7,500. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to Jersey City PD on their warrant. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 11/24/2017 at 9:00 pm, Cynthia Triandafilou, 51, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Simple Assault following investigation into an incident in the parking lot of Quick Chek earlier in the evening. Ms. Triandafilou was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court date. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 11/24/2017, James Moore, 57, of Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on Prospect Ave in which he was a passenger. Mr. Moore was found to have an active warrant for his arrest out of Bound Brook in the amount of $500. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released after receiving a new court date. Ptlm. Matthew Rosofsky investigated.

On 11/21/2017 at 9:20 pm, patrol responded to the 200 blk of South Madison Ave for the report of Criminal Mischief. The victim reported that sometime in the previous hour an unknown person had egged their vehicle which was parked in the driveway. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 11/20/2017 at 4:29 pm, Kimberly Wayne-Bollenbach, 43, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Obstruction Administration of Law for attempting to block officers sent to enforce a court order. Ms. Wayne-Bollenbach was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court date. Ptlm. Christopher Lovell investigated.

On 11/20/2017 at 12:59 pm, patrol responded to South Second St. for the report of a Theft. The victim reported that sometime during the overnight hours someone had stolen four tires off of their Acura and left the vehicle on wooden blocks. Ptlm. Brian Robbins investigated.

On 11/20/2017 at 8:27 am, patrol responded to Bound Brook Rd. at Sanford Ave for the report of a Burglary to a Motor Vehicle which occurred sometime in the previous few minutes as the vehicle was unlocked and warming up. Items stolen including clothing, a driver's license, and several credit cards. Ptlm. Brian Robbins investigated.

On 11/18/2017 at 2:14 pm, patrol responded to the 600 blk of Front St. for an assault. All parties were separated, declined medical treatment, and did not wish to sign criminal complaints. Ptlm. Jonathan DeAngelo investigated.

On 11/16/2017 at 11:19 pm, Ardis Wadley III was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop for speeding on West Fourth St. Mr. Wadley III was found to have warrants out of the Middlesex County Sheriff's Office, Perth Amboy, Sayreville, and Plainfield totaling $10,497.23. Mr. Wadley III was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to Perth Amboy PD on their warrants. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 11/16/2017 at 8:39 am, patrol responded to the 200 blk of Prospect Ave for the report of Criminal Mischief. The victim reported that an unknown person during the overnight hours had caused damage to the front window of their home valued at $350. Ptlm. Brian Robbins investigated.

On 11/15/2017, James Campbell, 50, of Dunellen was charged with Bad Checks less than $200 and Receiving Stolen Property following investigation into an incident on 9/13/2017. Det. Joe Dudley investigated.

On 11/15/2017 at 2:53 am, Kwame Bey, 34, of North Plainfield was arrested and charged with Shoplifting after stealing a pack of cigarettes from QuickChek. Additionally, Mr. Bey was found to have warrants for his arrest out of Piscatway, Wall Twp, and Springfield totaling $2824.  Mr. Bey was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released after posting bail on Wall Twp's warrant and receiving new court dates for the remaining. On 11/12/2017 at 10:26 pm, Brian Aguirre, 23, of Dunellen was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on South Washington Ave for an expired registration. Mr. Aguirre was found to have an active warrant for his arrest out of Watchung. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released after posting bail. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 11/12/2017 at 6:07 pm, patrol responded to Tropical Supermarket on North Ave for the report of an incident. Staff at the store reported that they had interrupted a male attempting to steal a large amount of seafood. The employee chased the individual and an accomplice into the parking lot where the stolen items were discarded. The employee then entered the suspects' vehicle where an altercation ensued and the suspects took off with the victim on board for approximately one block before pulling over, forcibly assaulting and robbing the employee of approximately $800, and shoving him out of the vehicle before fleeing the area. This incident remains open. Ptlm. Brian Robbins investigated.

On 11/12/2017 at 2:23 am, Jose Alvarez-Rivera, 20, of South Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop for speeding on North Ave. Mr. Alvarez-Rivera was found to have several warrants out of South Plainfield and Piscataway totaling $1,114. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released after being issued new court dates. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 11/8/2017 at 2:13 pm, Patrol responded to Tropical Supermarket on North Ave for the report of a Shoplifting which occurred on 11/5/2017. Management reviewing surveillance footage observed the theft of approximately $400 worth of seafood. This case remains open. Ptlm. Jonathan DeAngelo investigated.

On 11/4/2017 at 9:45 am, patrol responded to the 300 blk of Sanford Ave for a report of a bicycle which had been stolen the previous evening. The bicycle was unsecured and described as a blue Mongoose 26" mountain bike with a red chain. Sgt. Christopher Beenders investigated.

On 11/2/2017 at 5:34 pm, patrol responded to Family Dollar on North Ave for the report of a suspect attempting to pass counterfeit money. The suspect grabbed the money and fled prior to police arrival. This incident remains open. Ptlm. Christopher Lovell investigated.
