On 11/30/2019 at approximately 1:30 am, patrol attempted to conduct a motor vehicle stop on the 500 blk of North Ave. After stopping briefly, the operator of the vehicle, a black Dodge Charger, took off at a high rate of speed and led officers on a brief pursuit through Dunellen, Piscataway, and Plainfield. The pursuit was terminated due to the suspect's extremely reckless operation of the vehicle. This case remains open. Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik investigated.

On 11/29/2019 at 3:22 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Criminal Mischief. The victim reported that, while in Dunellen, she had attempted to confront a motorist about a road rage incident which had occurred in Piscataway. During the confrontation, the suspect caused damage to her windshield and door valued at $200. Ptlm. Joseph Green investigated.

On 11/28/2019 at 7:01 pm, Juan Calderon, 57, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated after police response to the parking lot of Quick Chek for the report of an intoxicated individual attempting to drive away. Mr. Calderon was brought to Dunellen HQ and Green Brook HQ for processing and later turned over to a sober friend. Ptlm. Keith Irons investigated.

On 11/28/2019 at 2:34 am, Collin Johnson, 25, of Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on the 200 blk of Oak Parkway. Mr. Johnson was found to have warrants for his arrest out of Newark and Clark. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released after receiving new court dates. Ptlm. On 11/28/2019 at 1:54 am, Edward Sabino, 51, of South Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following police response to Maggie Murray's Pub for the report of an intoxicated individual attempting to drive away. Mr. Sabino was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to a sober family member. Ptlm. Keith Irons investigated.

On 11/28/2019 at 1:08 am, Michael Renavitz, 50, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Refusal to Submit Breath Samples following a motor vehicle stop on the 200 blk of Front St. Mr. Renavitz was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing where he refused to provide samples. He was later turned over to a sober family member. Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik investigated.

On 11/27/2019 at 8:43 am, patrol responded to Columbia Park for the report of Criminal Mischief. The victim reported damage to an excavator which was parked overnight due to ongoing construction. Ptlm. Kevin Condus investigated.

On 11/26/2019 at 12:14 am, Timothy Sullivan, 52, of Middlesex was arrested for Contempt of Court after being observed by patrol and known to have an active warrant for his arrest out of the Middlesex County Sheriff's Office in the amount of $6,812.81. Mr. Sullivan was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later remanded to the Middlesex County Jail. Ptlm. Matthew Rosofsky investigated.

On 11/25/2019 at 7:07 pm, Kelly Kenny Jr., 37, of Bound Brook was arrested for Contempt of Court after patrol responded to the report of an intoxicated individual on the 200 blk of Front St. Investigation revealed that Mr. Kenny Jr. had a warrant for his arrest out of the Middlesex County Sheriff's Office in the amount of $6,564.57. Mr. Kenney Jr. was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to the Middlesex County Sheriff's Office. Ptlm. Matthew Rosofsky investigated.

On 11/25/2019 at 5:29 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Credit Card Fraud. The victim reported a loss of $153. Ptlm. Joseph Green investigated.

On 11/25/2019 at 4:45 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Identity Theft. This case remains open. Ptlm. Joseph Green investigated.

On 11/24/2019 at 4:38 pm, Karina Ortega, 30, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Fugitive From Justice following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. Investigation revealed that Ms. Ortega was wanted with full extradition out of the Cameron County Sheriff's Office in Texas. Ms. Ortega was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later remanded to the Middlesex County Jail awaiting extradition to Texas. Ptlm. Patrick Barry investigated.

On 11/23/2019 at 9:32 pm, Elizabeth Pallay, 43, of Watchung was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following police response to a motor vehicle accident on North Washington Ave in which she had struck a parked motor vehicle. Ms. Pallay was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober friend. Ptlm. Keith Irons investigated.

On 11/23/2019 at 10:13 am, Raquan Waugh, 22, of Piscataway was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on the 300 blk of Walnut St. Mr. Waugh was found to have warrants out of Woodbridge and North Plainfield totaling $2,500. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to Woodbridge PD on their warrant. Ptlm. Patrick Barry investigated.

On 11/21/2019 at 11:42 pm, Eldin Garcia-Caceres, 52, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on the 300 blk of Front St. Mr. Garcia-Caceres was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober friend. On 11/20/2019 at 4:58 pm, Ernest Shallo, 52, of Piscataway was arrested for Contempt of Court after being observed by patrol and known to have warrants for his arrest out of Dunellen, Piscataway, and Plainfield. Mr. Shallo was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to Piscataway PD on their warrant. Ptlm. Jonathan DeAngelo investigated.

On 11/20/2019 at 3:14 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Criminal Mischief. The victim reported damage to their vehicle while parked at the Dunellen Train Station. Ptlm. Jonathan DeAngelo investigated.

On 11/19/2019 at 12:35 am, Bryon McKinney, 43, of Piscataway was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated after patrol observed him asleep behind the wheel with several open containers of alcohol outside of North Tavern on North Ave. Mr. McKinney was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober family member. On 11/18/2019 at 8:14 pm, patrol responded to the 200 blk of Second St. for the report of Theft. The victim reported that two packages were delivered earlier in the day and had been stolen prior to their arrival home. The total value was approximately $218. Ptlm. Keith Irons investigated.

On 11/17/2019 at 5:16 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Credit Card Fraud. The victim reported several fraudulent charges totaling $2,000. Ptlm. Jonathan DeAngelo investigated.

On 11/17/2019 at 2:07 am, Argelis Disla-Duran, 20, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. Mr. Disla-Duran was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober individual. Sgt. Jeffrey Delbuono investigated.

On 11/17/2019 at 12:41 am, Theodore Sullivan Jr., 28, of Piscataway was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Grove St. for multiple moving violations. Mr. Sullivan Jr. was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and unable to contact a responsible party to sign him out. Mr. Sullivan Jr. was held until sober and subsequently released with a court appearance notice. Sgt. Brian Robbins investigated.

On 11/16/2019 at 10:11 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Theft from a resident of the 500 blk of Bound Brook Rd. The victim reported that U.S. Currency, Clothing, Paintings, a Laptop, and Prescriptions were missing from her apartment and suspected her former roommate was responsible. The total loss was reported to be $1,580. This case remains open. Ptlm. Matthew Rosofsky investigated.

On 11/16/2019 at 1:51 am, Vinicio Santamaria-Chango, 23, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave for crossing over the double yellow line and speeding. Mr. Santamaria-Chango was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober friend. Sgt. Brian Robbins investigated.

On 11/14/2019 at 8:33 pm, patrol responded to the 700 blk of Dunellen Ave for the report of Theft. The victim reported that an unknown person had accessed his open garage door and removed a jug of U.S. Currency valued at approximately $500. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 11/14/2019 at 12:02 am, patrol received a walk-in report of Harassment. The victim wished to report several recent encounters. Sgt. Jeffrey DelBuono investigated.

On 11/12/2019 at 11:41 am, patrol responded to the 300 blk of Prospect Ave for the report of Simple Assault. Both parties were explained the process for signing complaints with the court. Ptlm. Jonathen DeAngelo investigated.

On 11/11/2019 at 4:17 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Harassment. The victim wished to document a pattern of Harassment. Ptlm. Jonathan DeAngelo investigated.

On 11/9/2019 at 9:06 pm, patrol responded to the 400 blk of Fairview Ave for the report of a serious motor vehicle crash. The operator of the vehicle, a 13 year old male, had struck four parked vehicles causing significant damage. He was transported to the hospital for a medical evaluation and additional charges are pending the results of a drug screening. Sgt. Jeffrey Delbuono investigated.

On 11/9/2019 at 12:13 am, Richard Castillo, 38, of Dunellen was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on the 100 blk of Front St. Mr. Castillo was found to have warrants for his arrest out of Bound Brook and Plainfield totaling $1,600. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released after receiving new court dates. Ptlm. Keith Irons investigated.

On 11/8/2019 at 3:54 pm, patrol took a walk-in report of Lost Property. The reporting party stated that they had lost a set of keys valued at $930. Ptlm. Patrick Barry investigated.

On 11/7/2019 at 7:21 pm, patrol responded to the 100 blk of Jadach Dr for Welfare Check. Upon arrival they located a 10 year old male whom had been reported missing out of Piscataway. He was turned over to Piscataway PD to be reunited with his family. Ptlm. Matthew Rosofsky investigated.

On 11/7/2019 at 7:12 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Theft. The victim reported two bicycles which had been stolen from the 500 blk of North Ave. Ptlm. Matthew Rosofsky investigated.

On 11/6/2019 at 11:15 pm, Aaron Riggins, 28, of Piscataway was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. Mr. Riggins was found to have an active warrant for his arrest out of Piscataway in the amount of $550. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released after posting bail. Ptlm. Matthew Rosofsky investigated.

On 11/6/2019 at 8:41 pm, patrol responded to the 600 blk of Grove St. for the report of Theft. The victim wished to report that she believed an unknown person had accessed the fuel tank on her parked vehicle and removed an unknown quantity of gasoline. Ptlm. Matthew Rosofsky investigated.

On 11/5/2019 at 9:09 pm, Adiel Guzman-Arriola, 18, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana Under 50g and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after patrol was called to check on a suspicious vehicle on South Ave. Mr. Guzman-Arriola was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court appearance date. On 11/5/2019, Janine Bowling, 55, and Jerry Stronsnider, 39, both of Indiana, were charged with Theft by Deception (3rd Deg) following investigation into an on-line fraud of $30,381.96 from a Dunellen business on 7/2/2019. The pair were sent court appearance notices. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 11/5/2019 at 12:23 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Theft. The victim, a resident of the 400 blk of Madison Ave, reported that an unknown person had removed a recently delivered package from her front porch valued at $36. Ptlm. Kevin Condus investigated.

On 11/5/2019 at 12:32 am, Helen Norton-Young, 26, of Dunellen was charged with Criminal Mischief after patrol responded to the 700 blk of Bound Brook Rd. for the report of a brick used to smash an apartment window. Ms. Norton-Young was sent a court appearance notice. Ptlm. Keith Irons investigated.

On 11/4/2019 at 11:15 am, Kyle Simonson, 28, of Springfield was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop for speeding on West Fourth St. Mr. Simonson was found to have warrants out of Eatontown and Union totaling $2,511. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to Eatontown PD on their warrant. Ptlm. Patrick Barry investigated.

On 11/4/2019 at 2:18 am, Gary Pino, 51, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Bound Brook Rd. Mr. Pino was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober friend. Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik investigated.

On 11/3/2019 at 2:39 am, Ron Mills, 32, of Piscataway was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Refusal to Submit Breath Samples after patrol observed him passed out behind the wheel of his running vehicle on the 100 blk of North Washington Ave. Mr. Mills was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing where he refused to provide a breath sample. He was later released to a sober family member. Ptlm. Mathew Rosofsky investigated.

On 11/3/2019 at 12:26 am, patrol received a walk-in report of Criminal Mischief and Harassment. As a result of the investigation, Helen Norton-Young, 26, of Dunellen was charged with Criminal Mischief (4th Deg) and Harassment. She was mailed a court appearance notice. Ptlm. On 11/2/2019 at 11:50 am, Thomas Walker, 39, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Shoplifting after being observed by Quick Chek staff taking food items, and also having been identified doing so several days earlier. Mr. Walker was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court appearance notice. Ptlm. Jonathan DeAngelo investigated.
