On 11/29/2018 at 11:11 pm, Ida Peery, 24, of South Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on the 600 blk of Bound Brook Rd. Ms. Peery was brought to Middlesex and Dunellen PD for processing and later released to a sober friend. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 11/29/2018, Mauricio Gamba-Garcia, 36, of Elizabeth was charged with Theft By Deception, Deceptive Business Practices, and Theft of Movable Property following investigation into an incident reported on 11/19/2018 of a Dunellen resident whom was the victim of fraud with losses of $11,930 over three years. Mr. Gamba-Garcia was sent a court appearance notice. Ptlm. Kevin Condus investigated.

On 11/28/2018 at 3:01 pm, patrol responded to the 700 blk of Bound Brook Rd. for the report of a motor vehicle crash rollover with serious injuries and entrapment. Dunellen Fire Department and Dunellen Rescue Squad assisted in freeing the trapped occupants and transporting for medical attention. Investigation into this crash is active and on-going by the Traffic Safety Division. Sgt. Jeffrey DelBuono investigated

On 11/27/2018 at 11:23 pm, Lamaar Schanck, 24, of North Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on the 200 blk of North Ave. Mr. Schank was found to have a no-bail warrant out of Piscataway. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to Piscataway PD on the warrant. Ptlm. Matthew Rosofsky investigated.

On 11/27/2018 at 4:15 pm, patrol responded to Capital Ink on South Washington Ave for the report of Simple Assault. All involved were explained the procedure for filing charges. Ptlm. Christopher Lovell investigated.

On 11/27/2018 at 5:01 am, Alan Bersosa, 18, of Piscataway was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated (narcotics) and Using CDS following a motor vehicle accident in which he struck two parked cars. Mr. Bersosa was brought to Green Brook HQ and Dunellen HQ for processing before being released to a sober family member. Ptlm. Brian Robbins investigated.

On 11/26/2018 at 11:52 am, patrol responded to the 100 blk of North Washington Ave for the report of a burglary. The victim reported that unknown person had accessed the office of their business sometime over the weekend and ransacked the place, taking financial records and other items of value. This case was forwarded to the Detective Bureau. Ptlm. James Daniel investigated.

On 11/24/2018 at 6:03 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Harassment. The incident was documented. Ptlm. Jonathan DeAngelo investigated.

On 11/24/2018 at 12:16 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Burglary to a Motor Vehicle. The victim reported that his vehicle was parked on the 500 blk of Jackson and that sometime during the previous night an unknown person had accessed his unlocked vehicle and removed a wallet and checkbook. Later in the day, a resident of Second St. located the missing wallet and checkbook and turned them into police. All items were recovered except $2 cash which had been in the wallet. Sgt. On 11/24/2018, Robert Gainer, 51, of Newark was charged with Shoplifting following investigation into an incident on 10/17/2018 at Family Dollar. He was mailed a court appearance notice. Ptlm. Jonathan DeAngelo investigated.

On 11/21/2018 at 9:38 pm, patrol responded to the 400 blk of Prospect Ave for the report of a Simple Assault. All parties denied medical treatment and were advised on the process for signing complaints with the court. Ptlm. Matthew Rosofsky investigated.

On 11/21/2018 at 8:14 am, patrol responded to the 600 blk of North Ave Ext. for the report of an Attempted Burglary. The victim reported leaving the residence the previous morning and returning the previous evening and finding fresh pry marks near the lock on his front door. Ptlm. James Daniel investigated.

On 11/20/2018 at 8:48 pm, patrol responded to the 700 blk of Walnut St. for the report of a Theft. The victim reported the theft of a package delivered to their front porch earlier in the day. The package was valued at $150. Ptlm. Brian Robbins investigated.

On 11/19/2018 at 11:19 pm, Douglas Rodriguez-Cuellar, 24, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Resisting Arrest, Resisting Arrest by Flight, Disorderly Conduct, Contempt of Court (warrant out of Piscataway) and Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer (3 cts) after patrol attempted to stop him for several bicycle violations. Several minor injuries were to Green Brook and Dunellen officers were sustained during the incident. Mr. Rodriguez-Cuellar was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and was later remanded to the Middlesex County Jail. Ptlm. Brian Robbins investigated.

On 11/19/2018 at 2:36 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Theft by Deception. The victim reported having been the victim of a scam which resulted in the loss of $11,930 over the course of the previous three years. A suspect was identified and this case remains open. Ptlm. Kevin Condus investigated.

On 11/19/2018 at 10:46 am, patrol received a walk-in report of Credit Card Fraud. The victim reported several fraudulent charges. Ptlm. Jonathan DeAngelo investigated.

On 11/18/2018 at 5:52 pm, patrol responded to the 100 blk of Front St. for the report of a Burglary. The victim reported several items missing from his apartment. Ptlm. Christopher Lovell investigated.

On 11/16/2018 at 10:00 am, patrol responded to the 100 blk of Dunellen Ave for the report of a Burglary. The victim reported that an unknown person had forcibly entered the home sometime during the previous week. Ptlm. James Daniel investigated.

On 11/14/2018 at 6:52 pm, patrol responded to the 700 blk of Bound Brook Rd. for the report of Criminal Mischief. The victim reported that unknown person had used a sharp object to scratch several expletives into their parked vehicle.  Ptlm. Brian Robbins investigated.

On 11/12/2018 at 8:00 pm, patrol responded to the 100 blk of Front St. for the report of a Burglary to a Motor Vehicle. The victim stated that sometime during the overnight hours an unknown person had removed U.S. Currency and an iPad from the vehicle. This case remains open. Ptlm. Brian Robbins investigated.

On 11/12/2018 at 4:35 pm, patrol responded to the 100 blk of First St. for a structure fire. The fire was extinguished by firefighters from Dunellen and Middlesex. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by Ptlm. Lovell and the Middlesex County Fire Marshall’s Office.

On 11/10/2018 at 11:11 am, patrol responded to Family Dollar on North Ave for the report of a person, previously banned by the business, inside harassing employees. The suspect fled prior to police arrival and could not be located. Ptlm. Kevin Condus investigated.

On 11/9/2018 at 11:23 am, patrol responded to the 400 blk of High St. for the report of Criminal Mischief. The victim reported damage to the rear storm door of the residence. Ptlm. Jonathan DeAngelo investigated.

On 11/8/2018 at 11/8/2018 at 7:44 am, patrol responded to the 500 blk of Bound Brook Rd. for the report of Theft. The victim reported that she was supposed to have received a delivery of a 49 inch TV valued at $362 during the previous day, however it appears the item was stolen from the front step of the apartment building where it had been left. Ptlm. Jonathan DeAngelo investigated.

On 11/6/2018 at 5:18 pm, Christopher Rivero, 27, of Harmony Twp was arrested and processed on charges of Possession of Heroin and Endangering the Welfare of a Child in relation to an incident  on 10/4/2018. Mr. Rivero was taken into custody upon his release from the Somerset County Jail. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later remanded to the Middlesex County Jail on the above charges. On 11/3/2018 at 5:39 pm, patrol responded to the 200 blk of Lincoln Ave for the report of Criminal Mischief. The victim reported that sometime during the previous day an unknown person had caused damage to the driver's side mirror of her parked vehicle. Ptlm. James Daniel investigated.
