On 10/30/2016 at 10:01 pm, Lester Betaudier, 57, of Plainfield was arrested for contempt of court following a motor vehicle stop on the 100 blk of North Ave. Investigation revealed that Mr. Betaudier had a no bail warrant out of Union County. Mr. Betaudier was transported to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to the Union County Sheriff's Office on the no bail warrant. Ptlm. Goldman investigated.

On 10/30/2016 at 2:40 am Marquan Parker, 22, of Bound Brook was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated, Refusal to Submit Breath Samples, and Contempt of Court following a suspicious vehicle check. Patrol units found Mr. Parker sleeping in a vehicle which was parked the wrong direction on North Avenue. He was then  transported to headquarters and found to have two warrants for his arrest out of Plainfield and New Brunswick. Mr. Parker was processed and subsequently turned over to the Plainfield Police Department. Ptlm. Daniel investigated.

On 10/28/2016 at 11:35 pm Kourtney Hoffman, 19, of Plainfield was placed under arrest for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on North Avenue. Ms. Hoffman was a passenger in the vehicle and was found to have an active warrant out of Piscataway. She was processed and subsequently released after posting bail. Ptlm. Pepe investigated.

On 10/26/2016, at 7:27 pm, patrol received a walk in report of lewdness. A female victim reported that she was in her vehicle in a parking lot on the 200 blk of North Ave when she was approached by a black male whom had his genitalia exposed. The male then fled in a vehicle and the victim was able to record a license plate. Investigation has been turned over to the Detective Bureau.

On 10/24/2016 at 6:41 pm Joanna Soler, 34, of South Plainfield was placed under arrest for Criminal Trespass, Hindering Apprehension, and Contempt of Court following a disturbance on North Washington Ave. Upon the arrival of patrol units, multiple witnesses stated Ms. Soler pushed her way into a residence where she was not welcome and remained inside until the police were called. Patrol units were able to locate Ms. Soler in a vehicle a short distance away on Dunellen Ave.  She then provided officers with a false date of birth in order to conceal an active warrant out of North Plainfield. Ms. Soler was processed and subsequently turned over to North Plainfield Police. Ptlm. Robbins investigated. 

On 10/23/2016 at 2:36 pm Ahmyr Fenter, 23, of Browns Mills was placed under arrest for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle accident on North Ave. Mr. Fenter was a passenger in the accident and patrol units discovered he had a no bail warrant issued by the New Jersey State Police - Red Lion barracks. Mr. Fenter was photographed, processed, and subsequently turned over to the New Jersey State Police. Ptlm. Pepe investigaed.

On 10/23/2016 at 2:43 am, patrol observed a suspicious vehicle parked on the 300 blk of High St. Investigation revealed that the vehicle had been stolen out of Linden. The car was secured to be returned to its owner. Ptlm. Goldman investigated.

On 10/21/2016, at 5:58 pm, patrol responded to the 100 blk of North Ave for the report of a burglary. Evidence revealed that sometime during the day an unknown person had entered the structure through an unlocked window, ransacking the contents and stealing approximately $675.00 and a flat screen television. Investigation has been turned over to the Detective Bureau.

On 10/19/2016 at 10:24 pm Lequan Jefferson, 27, of Plainfield was placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct and Contempt of Court. During a motor vehicle stop on North Avenue Mr. Jefferson exited his vehicle and began screaming obscenities at officers while standing in the roadway blocking traffic. He was placed under arrest after a short time and it was discovered he had an active warrant out of Edison.  Mr. Jefferson was brought to headquarters and processed. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance with pending court appearances. Ptlm. Pepe investigated.

On 10/19/2016 at 2:35 pm Daniel Gerber, 29, of Bound Brook was placed under arrest for Hindering Apprehension and Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle accident on North Avenue. Investigation determined Mr. Gerber provided officers with a false name in order to conceal a suspended drivers license and three warrants out of Watchung and Bound Brook.  Mr Gerber was photographed, processed, and subsequently turned over to the Watchung Police Department. On 10/18/2016, at 2:52 am, patrol responded to the 100 blk of Prospect Ave for the report of criminal mischief. While there officers took a separate report for simple assault. Ptlm. Goldman and Sgt. Doherty investigated.

On 10/16/2016, at 2:14 am, Juan Velastegui, 38, of Newark was placed under arrest and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following investigation into a suspicious motor vehicle stopped on the 300 blk of North Ave. Mr. Velastegui was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober party. Ptlm. DeAngelo investigated.

On 10/13/2016, at 9:44 am, patrol responded to the 1st Presbyterian Church on Dunellen Ave for the report of burglary and criminal mischief which had occurred the previous evening. Evidence was secured and the case has been turned over to the Detective Bureau for further investigation.

On 10/12/2016 at 10:13 pm, Shantae Jackson, 38, of Highland Park was arrested and charged with Burglary, Robbery, Theft, and Criminal Mischief following investigation into a burglary on 8/29/16 on the 100 Blk of Front St. Det. Dudley investigated.

On 10/10/2016 at 11:34 pm Vaughn Jones, 26, of Dunellen was placed under arrest and charged with Possession of Less than 50 Grams of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop on Second Street. Investigation determined Mr. Jones was in possession of a quantity of marijuana along with a grinder and package of plastic baggies. Mr Jones was fingerprinted, processed, and subsequently released with a pending court appearance. Ptlm. Pepe investigated.  

On 10/6/2016 at 2:36 am Tasia Street, 23, of Plainfield and Kenneth Williams, age 25, of Plainfield were both placed under arrest following a motor vehicle stop. Ms. Street was charged with Hindering Apprehension after providing officers with a false name to avoid a summons for being an unlicensed and suspended driver. Mr. Williams was arrested for Contempt of Court after it was discovered he had an active warrant out of Scotch Plains. Both parties were brought to headquarters and processed. Mr. Williams was released after posting full cash bail while Ms Street was released with a pending court appearance. Ptlm. Pepe investigated.

On 10/4/2016 at 9:23 pm, Isaiah Mayes, 18, of Piscataway was arrested and charged with 2 counts each of Burglary by Entering and Theft of Movable Property following investigation into the theft of property from two unlocked vehicles on 10/2/2016. Mr. Mayes was transported to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to the Middlesex County Jail in lieu of $12,500 bail. Ptlm. Goldman investigated.

On 10/4/2016 at 12:31 am, Isaiah Lozada, 20, of Atlantic City was arrested and charged with Aggravated Sexual Assault, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Aggravated Sexual Contact following a joint investigation with the Dunellen Police Detective Bureau and the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office. Mr. Lozada was transported to the Dunellen Police Department for processing and later transferred to the Middlesex County Jail. Det. Dudley investigated.

On 10/3/2016 at 7:30 pm, Jackelyn McCann, 29, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Theft by Deception, Forgery, and Criminal Conspiracy following an investigation into stolen checks from a Dunellen resident. Ms. McCann was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later brought the Middlesex County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail, along with several other warrants for her arrest. Ptlm. Goldman investigated.

On 10/2/2016 at 10:31 am, Michael Kromphold, 50, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Defiant Trespass after patrol was called to a home on the 300 blk of Whittier Ave on the report of an individual entering through an unlocked basement door. Mr. Kromphold was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court date. Ptlm. Goldman investigated.
