On 9/29/2022 at 7:16 pm, patrol responded to the 800 blk of Second St. for the report of an emotionally disturbed person making threats with a knife. The male was successfully detained and transported to Robert Wood Johnson New Brunswick for an evaluation. Ptlm. Joseph Green investigated.

On 9/28/2022 at 6:57 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Theft. The victim reported that their bicycle had been stolen while locked and secured at the Dunellen Train Station during the day. This case remains open. Ptlm. Michael Lowder investigated.

On 9/28/2022 at 2:21 pm, Trivone Alston, 32, of Dunellen was arrested for Contempt of Court after patrol was called to the report of a male walking in the roadway on North Ave displaying a knife. Investigation revealed that Mr. Alston had warrants for his arrest out of Edison and Sayreville totaling $1,500. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to Edison PD on their warrant. Ptlm. Manuel Santiago investigated.

On 9/26/2022 at 3:55 pm, patrol responded to the 700 blk of Front St. for the reported Burglary. The victim reported that an unknown person(s) had accessed their home through an unlocked door during the previous two hours, stolen currency and several items, and ransacked every room. Ptlm. Joe Dudley investigated. This case remains open.

On 9/25/2022 at 11:44 pm, Daniel Bofah, 47, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. Mr. Bofah was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober friend. Ptlm. Joseph Green investigated.

On 9/25/2022 at 12:19 am, Alvaro Bonilla-Rivera, 40, of North Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Bound Brook Rd. Mr. Bonilla-Rivera was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober family member. Ptlm. Joseph Green investigated.

On 9/24/2022 at 10:04 am, Success Bounte, 18, of East Orange was arrested and charged with Hindering Apprehension after patrol was called to the lot of the Dunellen Train Station on the report that an individual was threatening to "pistol whip" others. Mr. Bounte then provided investigating officers with a fictitious date of birth. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court appearance date. Ptlm. Manuel Santiago investigated.

On 9/21/2022 at 10:58 pm, patrol responded to Bache Pl for the reported Assault. The victim reported that he was assaulted by an acquaintance. He refused medical treatment and was explained the process for signing complaints with the court. Ptlm. Anthony Issler investigated.

On 9/20/2022 at 1:06 am, James Andrade, 22, of North Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court after a motor vehicle stop revealed he had a $750 warrant out of Grene Brook. Mr. Andrade was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released after receiving a new court date. Ptlm. Keith Irons investigated.

On 9/18/2022 at 11:52 pm, Christian Marmoejos, 27, of North Plainfield was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct, Obstructing the Administration of Law (2 cts), as well as several borough ordinances after patrol was called to an intoxicated male being disorderly near the intersection of Dunellen and Jefferson. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court appearance notice. Ptlm. Anthony Issler investigated.

On 9/18/2022 at 12:21 am, Vector Valencia-Castillo, 44, of Bloomfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Jackson Ave. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober family member. On 9/17/2022 at 10:52 am, patrol received a walk-in report of Assault. The victim reported that they were assaulted by an acquaintance at Quick Chek the prior night. They were explained the process for signing complaints. Ptlm. James Daniel investigated.

On 9/16/2022 at 9:54 am, patrol responded to the 500 blk of South Ave for the report of a Catalytic Converter theft. The victim reported that the theft took place at 1:30 am. Ptlm. James Daniel investigated.

On 9/15/2022 at 12:31 am, Majid Johnson, 25, of Piscataway was arrested and charged with Hindering Apprehension following a motor vehicle stop in which he provided officers with a fictitious identity to conceal a warrant for his arrest. Mr. Johnson was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a new court date. Ptlm. Keith Irons investigated.

On 9/13/2022 at 11:40 pm, Stephen Duschl, 32, of Middlesex was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Bound Brook Rd. for operating with no headlights. Mr. Duschl was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober family member. Ptlm. Anthony Issler investigated.

On 9/9/2022, Leroy Brown, 82, Kimberly Brown, 53, and Katrina Brown, 61, all of Jersey City were charged with Theft and Conspiracy to Commit Theft by depositing a fraudulent check at a Dunellen Bank (over $12,000), spending the funds, and refusing to provide reimbursement when the check was deemed fraudulent. All defendants were mailed a court appearance notice. Det. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 9/8/2022 at 6:48 am, patrol responded to the 300 blk of South Washington Ave for the report of a Burglary to a motor vehicle. The victim reported that an unknown person had accessed the unlocked vehicle in their driveway during the overnight hours and removed Airpods and several credit cards. Ptlm. Manuel Santiago investigated.

On 9/4/2022 at 5:23 am, Sean Bishop, 21, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Refusal to Submit Breath Samples after patrol was called to a motorist asleep behind the wheel in the lane of travel at the intersection of South Washington and Walnut. Mr. Bishop was brought to Dunellen HQ where he refused to provide samples of his breath. He was later turned over to a sober family member. Ptlm. Anthony Issler investigated.
