On 9/30/2021 at 6:00 pm, Eduardo Garcia, 28, of Delaware was charged with Disorderly Conduct after attempting to initiate a fight with several patrons at the Dunellen Train Station who in turn acted in self defense. Mr. Garcia was transported to the hospital for an evaluation and mailed a court appearance notice. Ptlm. Anthony Issler investigated.

On 9/30/2021 at 12:11 pm, patrol responded to the 100 blk of North Ave for the report of Theft. The victim reported the theft of an unsecured bicycle sometime earlier. Ptlm. Kevin Condus investigated.

On 9/26/2021 at 1:09 am, Diego Garces, 32, of North Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on North Washington Ave. Mr. Garces was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober family member. On 9/27/2021 at 7:70 pm, Devon Reid, 28, of Florida was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave at the Plainfield border. Mr. Reid was found to have a warrant for his arrest out of East Orange. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a new court date. Ptlm. Keith Irons investigated.

On 9/23/2021 at 4:55 pm, Eduardo Garcia, 28, of Delaware was arrested and charged with Simple Assault and Resisting Arrest after attacking a patron of the Dunellen Train Station. Upon confrontation with the patrol officers, Mr. Garcia refused to willingly comply. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court appearance notice. Ptlm. On 9/21/2021 at 2:57 pm, patrol responded to Quick Chek for the reported Burglary and Shoplifting. Staff reported that a male had entered the store and accessed the employee only stockroom. There he produced a duffel bag and exited the side of the building stealing Redbull and Starbucks drinks valued at $550. Following investigation and assistance from multiple other towns affected by the serial burglar, Jonathan Decarvalho, 34, of Laurence Harbor was charged and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Ptlm. On 9/18/2021 at 11:38 pm, Maria Gonzales-Sam, 21, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Hindering Apprehension following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave at the Plainfield border. Ms. Gonzales-Sam provided officers with a fictitious date of birth in order to avoid receiving a traffic summons. She was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court date. On 9/18/2021 at 10:09 pm, Jorge Mercedes, 39, of North Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on North Washington Ave. Mr. Mercedes was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober friend. On 9/17/2021 at 10:42 pm, Gregory Leander, 35, of Piscataway was arrested for Contempt of Court after being observed in Columbia Park after hours and found to have warrants for his arrest out of Plainfield and Piscataway totaling $1,050. Mr. Leander was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to Piscataway PD on their warrant. Ptlm. Anthony Issler investigated.

On 9/17/2021 at 6:28 pm, patrol responded to the 100 blk of Prospect Ave for the report of a Heroin Overdose. Patrol administered Narcan Naloxone and rendered aid until the victim was turned over to EMS. Ptlm. Anthony Issler investigated.

On 9/17/2021 at 2:13 am, Edwin Campos, 35, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave at the Plainfield border. Mr. Campos was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober friend. Ptlm. Joesph Green investigated.

On 9/15/2021 at 11:34 pm, Peter Leo, 36, of Edison was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on South Washington Ave in which he was found to have a warrant out of Flemington in the amount of $750. Mr. Leo was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released after posting bail. Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik investigated.

On 9/14/2021 at 11:48 pm, Adam Alaali, 29, of Warren was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on North Washington Ave. Mr. Alaali was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober family member. Ptlm. Michael Lowder investigated.

On 9/12/2021 at 12:08 am, a 15 year old juvenile male of Piscataway was arrested and charged with Unlawful Taking of Conveyance after taking a vehicle without permission and being located on the 200 blk of Prospect Ave. The juvenile was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a parent. On 9/11/2021 at 7:11 pm, Brenda O'Neal, 57, of Dunellen was arrested for Contempt of Court after being observed by patrol and known to have a warrant for her arrest out of Dunellen. Ms. O'Neal was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a new court date. Ptlm. Joseph Green investigated.

On 9/11/2021 at 12:47 am, Edy Baudilio, 31, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on the 700 blk of Bound Brook Rd. Mr. Baudilio was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober friend. Ptlm. Anthony Issler investigated.

On 9/9/2021 at 4:24 pm, patrol responded to the 100 blk of Front St. for the report of a Heroin Overdose. Officers administered Narcan Naloxone and rendered aid until the victim was turned over to medical staff for transport to the hospital. Ptlm. Joe Dudley investigated.

On 9/5/2021 at 1:17 am, Diana Vargas-Cruz, 25, of Bound Brook was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop in the parking lot of Quick Chek. Ms. Vargas-Cruz was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober friend. Ptlm. Michael Lowder investigated.

On 9/3/2021 at 4:54 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Lost Property. The victim reported that one of the license plates to their parked vehicle had gone missing. Sgt. Christopher Lovell investigated.
