On 6/29/2019 at 9:14 pm, patrol responded to Family Dollar on North Ave for the report of Shoplifting. Staff reported that a male had entered the store and removed several items. When confronted, he fled on foot towards Plainfield prior to police arrival. Ptlm. Matthew Rosofsky investiaged.

On 6/28/2019 at 11:29 pm, Karenthia Parker, 48, of Piscataway was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop. Ms. Parker was found to have a warrant for her arrest out of Green Brook. She was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released after posting bail. Ptlm. Matthew Rosofsky investigated.

On 6/25/2019 at 9:07 pm, James Fenchock, 48, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with several counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault following investigation into a walk-in report at headquarters. Mr. Fenchock was taken into custody without incident and remanded to the Middlesex County Jail. Ptlm. Jonathan DeAngelo investigated.

On 6/25/2019 at 12:17 am, Eddie Figueroa Jr., 39, of Jersey City was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. Mr. Figueroa Jr. was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober friend. Ptlm. Matthew Rosofsky investigated.

On 6/23/2019 at 11:37 pm, Timothy Sullivan, 52, of Middlesex was arrested for Contempt of Court after being observed by patrol and known to have warrants for his arrest. Mr. Sullivan had a no-bail warrant out of the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office as well as warrants out of Raritan Boro and Somerville totaling $750. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later transferred to the Middlesex County Jail. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 6/23/2019 at 4:58 pm, Jose Mota, 57, of New Brunswick was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on South Washington Ave. Mr. Mota was found to have a no-bail warrant for his arrest out of the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later transferred to the Middlesex County Jail. Ptlm. Patrick Barry investigated.

On 6/23/2019 at 2:00 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of a Stolen Vehicle. The victim reported that they had parked their Mitsubishi on the  500 blk of Bound Brook Rd. and that it had been stolen during the previous night. This case remains open. Ptlm. Kevin Condus investigated.

On 6/23/2019 at 9:28 am, patrol responded to the 600 blk of North Ave Ext for the report of Criminal Mischief. The victim reported damage to a door valued at approximately $300. This case remains open. Ptlm. Patrick Barry investigated.

On 6/20/2019 at 10:09 pm, patrol responded to Zupko's Tavern for the report of Theft. The victim reported that an unknown person had stolen a purse with items valued at $100. This case remains open. Ptlm. Matthew Rosofsky investigated.

On 6/19/2019 at 12:12 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Theft. The victim reported mailing gift cards valued at $40 which were used without ever reaching their intended recipient. This case remains open. Sgt. Brian Robbins investigated.

On 6/17/2019 at 9:30 am, Sharonda Parker, 21, of Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on South Washington Ave. Ms. Parker was found to have a warrant for her arrest out of Watchung. She was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to Watchung PD on their warrant. Ptlm. Patrick Barry investigated.

On 6/16/2019 at 11:18 pm, Lottie Brown, 59, and John Mays, 48, both of Plainfield, were arrested following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. Mr. Mays was charged with Hindering Apprehension and also had warrants for his arrest out of Fanwood and the Union County Sheriff's Office. Ms. Brown was charged with Hindering Apprehension of Another. Mr. Mays provided fictitious information to conceal the warrants for his arrest. They were both brought to Dunellen HQ for processing. Ms. Brown was released with a court appearance date. Mr. Mays was transferred to the Middlesex County Jail. Sgt. Brian Robbins investigated.

On 6/16/2019 at 2:25 am, Geraldo Hogan, 25, of Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave for speeding. He was found to have a warrant for his arrest out of South Plainfield. Mr. Hogan was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released after posting bail. Ptlm. Matthew Rosofsky investigated.

On 6/15/2019 at 10:44 pm, Danielle Thompson, 43, of Middlesex was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop for several moving violations on Bound Brook Rd. She was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober family member. Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik investigated.

On 6/15/2019 at 10:16 am, patrol received a walk-in report of Criminal Mischief. The victim reported that unknown person had damaged the window on their rental vehicle. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 6/15/2019 at 7:36 am, patrol responded to the parking lot of Roxy and Duke's for the report of a stolen vehicle. The victim reported that an unknown person had cut the locks to their trailer and stolen a racing motorcycle. Ptlm. James Daniel investigated.

On 6/13/2019 at 11:26 am, patrol received a walk-in report of Burglary and Sexual Assault. This case remains open. Det. Brian O'Neill investigated.

On 6/13/2019 at 10:46 am, Robert Stuhldreher, 30, of Middlesex was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop in the parking lot of Quick Chek. Mr. Stuhldreher was found to have an active warrant for his arrest out of Dunellen. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a new court date. Ptlm. On 6/13/2019 at 6:39 am, while investigating another incident, patrol observed several discarded items which were later found to be the result of a Burglary to a motor vehicle on the 100 blk of Second St. Surveillance footage showed two males canvassing the area at 3:21 am and removing several items from the vehicle. Still missing is a $300 laptop belonging to the Dunellen Board of Education. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman investigated.

On 6/13/2019 at 6:16 am, patrol responded to the 400 blk of Jefferson Ave for the report of Burglary to a motor vehicle. An unknown person had accessed the unlocked vehicle, removing a jacket, wallet, and work-related items. Some of the items were found discarded nearby. Ptlm. Nicholas Goldman invesigated.

On 6/13/2019 at 5:03 am, Sophia Martinez, 23, of Jersey City was mailed a criminal complaint for Theft following police response to an incident at Sun Power Gas. Staff reported that several hours earlier, Ms. Martinez had requested $20 worth of gas but did not have sufficient funds to pay for the fuel. When she did not return to do so as promised, they contacted the police. Ptlm. Keith Irons investigated.

On 6/12/2019 at 4:59 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of a dog bite. The victim reported being bitten by a dog while jogging that morning. This case remains open. Ptlm. Patrick Barry investigated.

On 6/10/2019 at 7:03 am, patrol responded to the 300 blk of Third St for the report of a Burglary to a motor vehicle which had just occurred. The victim reported seeing three Hispanic males steal approximately $2,000 in power tools from their parked vehicle and flee in a green Honda Odyssey with an unknown temporary registration. This case has been forwarded to the detective bureau. Sgt. Christopher Lovell investigated.

On 6/10/2019 at 12:17 am, Randy Rose, 30, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Hindering Apprehension following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave in which he was a passenger and not wearing a seatbelt. Mr. Rose provided officers with a fictitious name in order to conceal a warrant for his arrest out of Plainfield. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released after posting bail. On 6/8/2019 at 11:49 pm, Michael Poltorak, 41, of Middlesex was arrested for Contempt of Court. He was located following investigation into a hit an run accident earlier in the evening in which a child on a bicycle was stuck and the driver of the vehicle fled. Mr. Poltorak was found to have a no-bail warrant out of the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office. He was processed at the Dunellen HQ and turned over to the Prosecutor's Office on their warrant. Ptlm. On 6/8/2019 at 4:34 pm, Darrell Counts, 50, of Piscataway was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on South Ave. Mr. Counts was found to have warrants out of the Middlesex County Sheriff's Office, Union County Sheriff's Office, and Middletown Township totaling $46,150.42. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to the Union County Sheriff's Office on their warrant. Ptlm. Patrick Barry investigated.

On 6/7/2019 at 1:37 am, Mayra Fiallos-Acosta, 32, of Fanwood was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. She was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober family member. Ptlm. Matthew Rosofsky investigated.

On 6/6/2019 at 12:43 pm, patrol responded to the Knights of Columbus for the report of Illegal Dumping. Staff reported that the previous evening, a large white commercial vehicle had dumped several couches and beds on the property. Ptlm. Jonathan DeAngelo investigated.

On 6/5/2019 at 8:59 am, patrol received a walk-in report of Theft by Deception. The victim reported a loss of $6,500 which he sent to a scammer believing that a vehicle was being purchased. Ptlm. Jonathan DeAngelo investigated.

On 6/5/2019 at 3:01 am, Andrew Dellaventura, 60, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following response to a motor vehicle accident on North Ave Extension. Mr. Dellaventura was brought to Dunellen HQ and Robert Wood Johnson Somerset for processing before being turned over to a sober friend. Ptlm. Keith Irons investigated.

On 6/3/2019 at 3:04 pm, patrol responded to Quick Chek on North Ave for the report of Shoplifting in progress. Patrol located two juvenile females that had concealed several items in their bags. The items were returned to the store and the juveniles were turned over to their parents.

On 6/3/2019 at 11:55 am, Renzo Zavala-Obeso, 33, of South Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. Mr. Zavala-Obeso was found to have warrants for his arrest out of Woodbridge and Westfield. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released after receiving new court dates. Sgt. John Doherty investigated.

On 6/2/2019 at 12:56 am, Samuel Njoroge, 33, of Somerset was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest, and Obstruction (2 cts) following a motor vehicle stop on Bound Brook Rd. Mr. Njoroge became disorderly after receiving a motor vehicle citation. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later transported to Robert Wood Johnson Somerset for a medical evaluation.
