May 2016

On 5/15/2016 at 6:15pm Police units were dispatched to the NJ Transit platform for an intoxicated male. Upon arrival, Patrolman Lovell identified the male as Charles Luciano-Ballester age 54 of Dunellen. Due to his level of intoxication, an ambulance was requested for evaluation. While awaiting the ambulance, Mr. Luciano-Ballester tried to remove his penis from his pants several times after being told not to do so. He then removed his penis and urinated on the train platform directly in front of officers. At that time, he was placed under arrest and charged with Disorderly Conduct along with multiple Borough Ordinance violations. He was subsequently released with a pending court date and transported to Somerset Hospital for treatment. - Patrolman Lovell investigated
 
On 5/15/2016 at 2:22am Patrolman Pepe was on routine patrol when he observed a green Nissan traveling with a headlight out on North Avenue. He conducted a motor vehicle stop and requested identification from both the driver and passenger. As the passenger reached into his pocket to remove his identification a bag containing suspected Cocaine fell out of his pocket into plain view. The passenger was placed under arrest and identified as Jose B Rivera-Menjivar age 30 of North Plainfield, NJ. Further investigation also revealed an open container of alcohol beneath the passenger seat. Mr. Rivera-Menjivar was charged with Possession of CDS (Cocaine) and issued multiple traffic citations. He was fingerprinted, processed, and later released after posting bail.  - Patrolman Pepe investigated
 
On 5/11/2016 at 9:08pm Patrol units received a report of a possible intoxicated driver on Third Street. Patrolman Goldman observed a suspicious vehicle in the area that also had items obstructing the drivers view. He conducted a motor vehicle stop and identified the driver as Alethea Roberts age 50 of Dunellen. Ms. Roberts was known to officers as she had been arrested for DWI in the same vehicle several nights earlier. Patrolman Goldman observed several indicators of alcohol impairment while speaking with Ms. Roberts and she was asked to take field sobriety tests. Ms. Roberts then became extremely uncooperative and attempted to pull away from officers and enter her home. She was then placed under arrest after refusing to participate in any sobriety testing. Ms. Roberts also refused to submit to breath samples while being processed. She was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Driving While Intoxicated with minor as passenger, Child Neglect, Obstructing the administration of law, and Refusal to submit breath samples. She was lodged in Middlesex County Adult Corrections Center after failing to post bail. - Patrolman Goldman investigated.
 
On 5/9/2016 at 7:53pm - Patrol units were dispatched to South Avenue residence regarding a verbal dispute over a lawn mower. Upon arrival officers spoke with the victim who stated she observed the suspect enter her backyard and steal her lawn mower. Officers identified the suspect who was in possession of the mower as Frank Mcgirr age 31 of Dunellen. Mr. Mcgirr was placed under arrest and charged with Theft and Criminal Trespass. He was subsequently released with a pending court date. - Patrolman Daniel investigated.
 

On 5/8/2016 at 12:13am Alethea Roberts age 50 of Dunellen was arrested and charged with DWI and Disorderly Conduct. While on scene at an unrelated call for service, Patrolman Goldman observed Ms. Roberts to be highly intoxicated. Shortly after clearing the initial incident, Patrolman Goldman was still in the area and witnessed Ms. Roberts enter her vehicle and drive a short distance. He conducted a motor vehicle stop and confirmed Ms. Roberts was the driver. Following field sobriety tests Ms. Roberts was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated. She was also charged with Disorderly Conduct for yelling loudly and cursing while in a residential neighborhood during the evening. She was released to a sober party with a pending court date.           Patrolman Goldman investigated.
 
On 5/7/2016 at 2:37am Police units received a report of an erratic driver in a red Toyota that had just pulled into the Quick Chek convenient store. Shortly thereafter, Patrolman Goldman observed a red Toyota exit the parking lot without its headlights activated along with several other motor vehicle violations. He conducted a motor vehicle stop and identified the driver as Jose L Cristalinas-Moreno age 49 of Manville, NJ. Patrolman Goldman believed Mr. Cristalinas-Moreno to be under the influence of alcohol and following field sobriety tests placed him under arrest for DWI. He was processed and later released to a sober party.        Patrolman Goldman investigated
 
On 5/6/2016 at 10:46pm Patrolman Nierodzik was on routine patrol when he observed four individuals riding their bicycles in the middle of North Washington avenue. He made contact with the group and determined that one of them, Raphael V Garcia age 22 of Plainfield, NJ had an active warrant out of Green Brook. Mr. Garcia was placed under arrest, processed and later posted bail.    Patrolman Nierodzik investigated.
 
On 5/4/2016 at 12:58am Patrol units were dispatched to a residence on Second Street for the reported verbal altercation. Upon arrival officers determined one of the actors, Yasmeen M Davis age 26 of Dunellen had a warrant for her arrest out of Fanwood. Ms. Davis was placed under arrest without incident, processed, and released on her own recognizance.          Patrolman Goldman investigated
 
On 5/1/2016 at 1:47am Sergeant Jeff Delbuono was on routine patrol when he observed an individual operating a black Ford explorer without a seatbelt. He conducted a motor vehicle stop and identified the driver as Juan D Valdivia age 22 of Piscataway, NJ. It was then determined that Mr. Valdivia had an active warrant out of Piscataway. He was placed under arrest, processed, and later posted bail.    Sergeant Delbuono investigated



April 2016  


On 4/29/16 at 6:35am patrol units were dispatched to the Quick Chek convenient store on North Avenue for a male panhandling in the parking lot. Upon arrival, officers observed the suspect attempting to leave the area on a bicycle. After a short distance, the officers were able to catch up with the suspect who was identified as Matthew L Williams, age 24 of Plainfield, NJ. Further investigation revealed that Mr. Williams had multiple arrests warrants from Bound Brook and Somerville. Mr. Williams was placed under arrest, processed and subsequently turned over to the Bound Brook Police Department.  Patrolman Goldman investigated.

On 4/29/2016 at 11:09pm Sergeant Delbuono was on routine patrol near the 200 block of South Washington Avenue when he observed a Volkswagen Jetta driving in the shoulder lane and swerving over the double yellow line. Sergeant Delbuono conducted a motor vehicle stop and identified the driver as Maria Pazmino, age 37, of Plainfield, NJ. While speaking with Ms. Pazmino Sergeant Delbuono detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her vehicle and observed her eyes to be very watery. She was then administered standardized field sobriety tests and subsequently placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated. Sergeant Delbuono investigated.

On 4/30/16 at 1:56am Patrolman Pepe was on routine patrol in the 300 block of New Market road when he observed a silver Kia cut off another vehicle while making a turn. Patrolman Pepe conducted a motor vehicle stop on New Market Road and identified the driver as Marcus M Kearney, age 24 of New Brunswick, NJ. While speaking with Mr. Kearney, Patrolman Pepe detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath and observed that his eyes were bloodshot and watery. He was then administered field sobriety tests and subsequently placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated. After submitting to breath samples, Mr. Kearney’s BAC was determined to be more than double the legal limit. Patrolman Pepe investigated

On 4/24/16 @ 12:55am - Dajuan Hester, 22, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with two counts of contempt of court following a motor vehicle stop on Washington Ave. The vehicle was stopped for having expired registration. The driver was then discovered to have a suspended license and two active warrants for his arrest. He was arrested and brought to headquarters to be processed where he later posted bail and was released. Ptl Nierodzik investigated. 

On 4/22/16 @ 10:32am - Mary Terkowski, 29, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with shoplifting after patrol was called to a North Ave business for a report of a female placing items in her purse in the store. The suspect was stopped and the stolen items were found in her purse. She was arrested, processed and later released. Ptl Deangelo investigated. 

On 4/22/16 @ 3:39am - Ashley Eddy, 22, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana following a motor vehicle stop on Washington Ave. The vehicle was stopped for speeding and going through a red light. During the stop marijuana was found inside the vehicle. The suspect was arrested, processed and later released. Ptl Pepe investigated. 

On 4/21/16 @ 12:53pm - Aljiernon Aiken, 21, of Newark was arrested and charged with contempt of court following a motor vehicle stop on Washington Ave. The vehicle was stopped because a random plate check revealed an active warrant for the registered owner. The suspect was arrested and brought to headquarters to be processed where he later posted bail and was released. Ptl Goldman investigated. 

On 4/19/16 @ 11:17pm - Luis Cornejo, 24, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with hindering and unsworn falsification to authorities following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. The vehicle was stopped for having a headlight out and further investigation revealed that the vehicle also had a fraudulent temporary registration. The driver then lied about his name because he had a suspended license as well. He was arrested, processed and later was released after posting bail. Ptl Goldman investigated. 

On 4/19/16 @ 11:06am - Shakeeda Ross, 30, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with contempt of court following a motor vehicle stop on Pulaski St. The vehicle was stopped for the registered owner having an outstanding warrant. She was arrested, processed and later turned over to Union County Sheriff's Dept for her warrant. Ptl Deangelo investigated. 

On 4/16/16 @ 12:58am - Dulce Montilla, 38, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with DWI and refusing to submit breath samples following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. The vehicle was stopped for tailgating another vehicle and swerving. The suspect was found to be intoxicated and was arrested. Once at headquarters she also refused to give breath samples. She was processed and later released to a sober party. Ptl Pepe investigated. 

On 4/13/16 @ 1:41am - Tiawan Troutman, 22, of Middlesex was arrested and charged with eluding and possession of marijuana following a brief motor vehicle pursuit. The vehicle was seen involved in a drug transaction with another vehicle on South Second St. and upon seeing the patrol car the suspect vehicle as well as a second vehicle involved in the transaction both fled the scene. After a brief pursuit one of the vehicles was located and the suspect was arrested. Inside the vehicle a small bag of marijuana was found as well. The suspect was arrested, processed and later posted bail. Ptl Pepe investigated. 

On 4/11/16 @ 7:54pm - Michael Greene Jr, 21, of Bound Brook was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop on South Ave. The vehicle was stopped for having a headlight out. Inside the vehicle a jar containing marijuana was located as well as rolling papers. The suspect was arrested, processed and later released. Ptl Pepe investigated. 

On 4/9/16 @ 2:26am - Tiffany Wortman, 35, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with DWI, refusing to submit to breath samples, obstruction and two counts of disorderly conduct after patrol was called to a North Ave business for an intoxicated female causing a disturbance in the store. Upon arrival the suspect was found in her vehicle preparing to leave. She was stopped and immediately became disorderly in the parking lot, yelling at officers and refusing to perform field sobriety tests. She was arrested and brought to headquarters for processing where she refused to give breath samples and refused to give pedigree information. She was processed and later turned over to a sober party. On her way out of headquarters she began to scream again and kick the front door of police headquarters several times, leading to the second disorderly conduct charge. She was also charged with littering for throwing her traffic tickets on the sidewalk. Ptl Goldman investigated. 

On 4/9/16 @ 12:11am - Danny Soria, 42, of Piscataway was arrested and charged with DWI following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. The vehicle was stopped for speeding, making an illegal right turn at a red light, and for swerving into the opposite lane of travel. The driver was found to be intoxicated and was arrested. He was found to be double the legal limit. He was later released to a sober party. Ptl Nierodzik investigated. 

On 4/5/16 @ 5:10pm - Tyreal Bridges, 27, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with contempt of court following a motor vehicle stop on Walnut St. The vehicle was stopped because a random plate check revealed the owner of the vehicle had an active warrant for his arrest. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was arrested for his warrant. He was processed and later posted bail. Ptl Goldman investigated. 

On 4/1/16 @ 11:29pm - Jose Diaz, 18, of New Providence was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after a motor vehicle stop on Washington Ave. The vehicle was stopped for almost colliding with a patrol car. The driver then changed seats with the passenger and when told to exit the vehicle he refused. He was then removed from the vehicle and physically resisted arrest. He was transported to headquarters where he was processed and later released. Sgt Delbuono investigated. 

March 2016

On 3/30/16 @ 1:50am - Jeannicole Howard, 30, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with contempt of court following a motor vehicle stop on Walnut St. The vehicle was stopped for not having a front license plate and the driver was found to have an active warrant for her arrest. She was arrested, processed and later posted bail and was released. Ptl Pepe investigated. 

On 3/26/16 @ 11:49pm - Michael Guzman, 24, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with DWI following a motor vehicle stop on South Ave. The vehicle was stopped for driving with its high beams on and for swerving into the opposite lane of travel. The driver was suspected to be under the influence of marijuana and arrested. He was brought to headquarters where he was processed and later released to a sober party. Ptl Nierodzik investigated. 

On 3/25/16 @ 11:33pm - Selena Deriggs, 18, of Piscataway was arrested and charged with contempt of court following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. The vehicle was stopped for speeding and the driver was found to have an active warrant out for her arrest. She was arrested, processed and later posted bail and released. Ptl Goldman investigated. 

On 3/24/16 @ 10:43pm - Ralyel Figueroa, 22, of Woodbridge was arrested and charged with contempt of court following a motor vehicle stop on Center St. The vehicle was stopped improper passing and the driver was found to have an active warrant out of Perth Amboy. The suspect was arrested, processed and later turned over to Perth Amboy Pd on his warrant. Ptl Pepe investigated. 

On 3/23/16 @ 12:25am - Torie Jackson, 39, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with DWI following a motor vehicle stop on Grove St. The vehicle was stopped for swerving over the lane dividers. The driver was found to be intoxicated and arrested. He was processed at headquarters and later released to a sober party. Ptl Goldman investigated. 

On 3/20/16 @ 12:31am - Amir Martin, 31, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with contempt of court following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. The vehicle was stopped for driving without its headlights on. The driver was found to have a suspended license and an active warrant out for his arrest. He was arrested, processed at headquarters and later posted bail. Ptl Pepe investigated. 

On 3/13/16 @ 11:48pm - Jordan Neissel, 36, of East Chatham, NY, was arrested and charged with DWI and refusing to submit breath samples after a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. The vehicle was stopped for making an illegal right on red at the intersection of Washington Ave and North Ave. The driver was found to be intoxicated and arrested. He was brought to headquarters where he refused to submit breath samples, leading to the refusal charge. He was processed and later released to a sober party. Sgt Doherty investigated. 

On 3/12/16 @ 12:27am - Janine Mccoy, 25, of Aberdeen was arrested and charged with DWI following a motor vehicle stop on Washington Ave. The vehicle was stopped for almost hitting another vehicle while turning onto Washington Ave and for driving with its high beams on. The driver was found to be under the influence of narcotics and was arrested. She was brought to headquarters where she was processed and later released to a sober party. Ptl Nierodzik investigated. 

On 3/11/16 @ 10:54pm - Heiner Rivera-Ramirez, 33, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with contempt of court following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. The vehicle was stopped for the registered owner having a suspended driver's license. The owner was not driving but it was then discovered that the suspect did not have a license and had an outstanding warrant for his arrest out of Bound Brook. He was arrested, processed and later turned over to Bound Brook Pd on his warrant. Ptl Nierodzik investigated. 

On 3/10/16 @ 4:19pm - Samuel Harris, 46, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with contempt of court following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. The vehicle was stopped for having expired registration. The driver was found to be unlicensed and also had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was brought to headquarters where he was processed and later posted bail. Ptl Goldman investigated. 

On 3/3/16 @ 2:55am - Stephen Thorpey, 32, of Mendham Twp was arrested and charged with DWI and refusal to submit to breath testing following a report of a suspicious vehicle that had been parked in the road on the 300 block of Front St for some time. The driver of the vehicle was found to be sleeping in the driver's seat with the engine running. The driver was found to be intoxicated and was arrested. He was brought to headquarters where he refused to submit breath samples and was then charged with refusal as well. He was processed and later released to a sober party. Ptl Pepe investigated. 

On 3/6/16 @ 1:03am - Albaro Urtado-Paucar, 27, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with DWI following a motor vehicle stop on Bound Brook Rd. The vehicle was stopped for swerving into the opposite lane of traffic. The driver was found to be intoxicated and arrested. He was brought to headquarters where he was processed and later released to a sober party. Sgt Delbuono investigated. 

On 3/3/16 @ 8:07pm - Roberto Morales, 44, of Bound Brook was arrested and charged with contempt of court following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. The vehicle was stopped because a random plate check showed an active warrant for the registered owner. The driver was arrested and brought to headquarters where he was processed and later posted bail. Ptl Goldman investigated. 

On 3/3/16 @ 12:08am - Steven Tiban-Chipantiza, 19, of Middlesex was arrested and charged with contempt of court following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. The vehicle was stopped for improper control of its high beam lights. The driver was found to have an active warrant and was arrested. He was brought to headquarters where he was processed and later posted bail. Ptl Goldman investigated. 

On 3/2/16 @ 12:11am - Eric Castillo, 30, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with contempt of court following a motor vehicle stop on Grove St. The vehicle was stopped for not having a front license plate and for the owner having a suspended license. It was also discovered that the owner had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was arrested, processed and later posted bail. Ptl Pepe investigated. 

February 2016

On 2/29/16 @ 1:14am - Marco Acevedo, 46, of Bound Brook was arrested and charged with DWI following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. The vehicle was stopped for swerving and obstructing traffic. The driver was found to be intoxicated and arrested. He was brought to headquarters to be processed where he was found to be over double the legal limit. He was processed and later released to a sober party. Ptl Goldman investigated. 

On 2/27/16 @ 12:58am - Agifa Constable, 36, of Sayreville was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and Gavin Callum, 33, of Plainfield was charged with hindering apprehension and contempt of court following a motor vehicle stop on South Washington Ave. The vehicle was stopped for speeding and the odor of marijuana was coming from the vehicle. After a search two bags of marijuana belonging to Mr. Constable were located. Mr Callum then gave a false name and date of birth in an attempt to hide the fact that he had warrants out of Plainfield Municipal Court. Both suspects were arrested and brought to headquarters to be processed. Mr Constable was later released and Mr Callum was turned over to Plainfield Pd for his warrants. Ptl Goldman investigated. 

On 2/26/16 @ 10:16pm - Michael Kromphold, 49, of Dunellen was arrested for contempt of court after patrol was called to a residence for a report of a verbal dispute. While on scene it was discovered that the suspect had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was arrested and brought to headquarters to be processed where he later posted bail and was released. Ptl Goldman investigated. 

On 2/23/16 @ 11:46pm - Kajuana Thompson, 24, of Piscataway was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana following a motor vehicle stop on Whittier Ave. The vehicle was stopped for driving without its headlights on and because the owner had a suspended license. The vehicle smelled strongly of marijuana and after a search eight small bags of suspected marijuana was located. The suspect was arrested, processed and later released. Ptl Goldman investigated. 

On 2/21/16 @ 1:16am - William Turner Jr., 34, of Garwood was arrested and charged with DWI following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. The vehicle was stopped for speeding on Bound Brook Rd and the driver was found to be intoxicated. He was arrested and brought to headquarters to be processed where he was found to be over double the legal limit. He was later released to a sober party. Sgt Delbuono investigated. 

On 2/20/16 @ 6:19am - Erica Garcia, 22, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with DWI after a report of an erratic driver going east on Route 28. The driver was swerving into oncoming traffic and struck a parked vehicle on North Ave and fled. When the vehicle was located it had heavy front end damage and the driver was found to be intoxicated. She was brought to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries and blood was taken for alcohol content. The suspect was left at the hospital for treatment. Ptl Daniel investigated. 

On 2/17/16 @ 2:46am - Matthew Vanorden, 29, of North Plainfield was arrested and charged with DWI and refusing to submit breath samples following a motor vehicle stop on Jackson Ave. The vehicle was stopped for speeding and the driver was found to be intoxicated. He was arrested and brought to headquarters where he then refused to give breath samples. He was processed and later released to a sober party. Ptl Daniel investigated. 

On 2/16/16 @ 1:05am - Dylan Bryant, 23, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with DWI following a motor vehicle accident on Bound Brook Rd. The suspect vehicle had struck a parked motor vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was found to be intoxicated and arrested. He was brought to headquarters where he was processed and later turned over to a sober party. Ptl Pepe investigated. 

On 2/15/16 @ 6:23pm - Charles Luciano-Ballester, 54, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after patrol was called to a North Ave business for an intoxicated male refusing to leave the business. Upon arrival patrol encountered the intoxicated suspect and the suspect continually exposed his penis in front of officers and refused to leave the establishment. The suspect was arrested and sent to the hospital due to his high level of intoxication. Ptl Robbins investigated. 

On 2/15/16 @ 2:43am - Maribel Bermudez, 44, of Piscataway was arrested and charged with DWI following a motor vehicle stop on Grove St. The vehicle was stopped for obstructing traffic by stopping in the middle of the roadway. The driver was found to be intoxicated and arrested. She was transported to headquarters where she was processed and later released to a sober party. Ptl Goldman investigated. 

On 2/13/16 @ 1:31am - Siobhan Doherty, 40, of Piscataway was arrested and charged with DWI and refusing to submit to breath testing following a motor vehicle stop on Grove St. The vehicle was stopped for speeding and swerving over the lane dividers. The driver was found to be intoxicated and was arrested. She was brought to headquarters where she refused to submit to breath testing. She was processed and later released to a sober party. Ptl Robbins investigated. 

On 2/13/16 @ 12:37am - Joshua West, 23, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, hindering apprehension, and contempt of court after patrol was called to an apartment building on Prospect Ave for an activated fire alarm. The suspect was intoxicated and became antagonistic and uncooperative towards officers and firemen upon their arrival. He then gave a false name and date of birth to officers in an attempt to conceal an active warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested, processed and later transported to Middlesex County Jail. Ptl Goldman investigated. 

On 2/11/16 @ 12:27am - Reggie Carter, 42,  of Somerset was arrested and charged with DWI and contempt of court following a motor vehicle stop on South Washington Ave. The vehicle was stopped for speeding and the driver was found to be intoxicated and had numerous warrants out for his arrest. He was arrested, brought to headquarters for processing and later turned over to Plainfield Pd on his warrants. Ptl Pepe investigated. 

On 2/10/16 @ 12:49am - A 19 year old resident of Piscataway was arrested and charged with contempt of court following a motor vehicle stop on South Washington Ave. The vehicle was stopped for having a headlight out. The owner of the vehicle also had an active warrant out for her arrest. She was arrested, processed and later released. Ptl Nierodzik investigated. 

On 2/7/16 @ 12:45am - A 26 year old resident of Plainfield was arrested and charged with contempt of court following a motor vehicle stop on Lincoln Ave. The vehicle was stopped for the owner having a suspended license and an active warrant. The driver was arrested, processed and later posted bail. Ptl Pepe investigated. 

On 2/7/16 @ 12:12am - A 29 year old resident of Dunellen was arrested and charged with contempt of court following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. The vehicle was stopped for suspended registration and the driver was found to have an active warrant for her arrest. She was arrested, processed and later posted bail. Ptl Nierodzik investigated. 

On 2/6/16 @ 9:55am - A 24 year old resident of Middlesex was arrested and charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of criminal attempt, theft and contempt of court after patrol was called to the area of the 800 block of Front St for a report of a male breaking into motor vehicles. The suspect was found later while inside another motor vehicle attempting to steal loose change. The suspect was arrested, processed and later transported to Middlesex County Jail. On 2/6/16 @ 2:50am - A 25 year old resident of Greenbrook was arrested and charged with DWI and refusing to submit breath samples following a motor vehicle stop on Bound Brook Rd. The vehicle was stopped for speeding and driving over the lane dividers on Bound Brook Rd. The driver was found to be intoxicated and arrested. He was brought to headquarters where he refused to submit to breath testing. He was processed and later released to a sober party. Ptl Goldman investigated. 

On 2/6/16 @ 1:16am - A 31 year old resident of Edison was arrested and charged with DWI following a motor vehicle stop on Bound Brook Rd. The vehicle was stopped for speeding on Bound Brook Rd and the driver was found to be intoxicated. He was brought to headquarters where he was processed and later turned over to a sober party. Sgt Delbuono investigated. 

On 2/5/16 @ 12:55am - A 35 year old resident of Lake Hiawatha was charged with receiving stolen property, possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and contempt of court and a 23 year old resident of Bedminster and a 39 year old resident of Mine Hill were both charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop on the 300 block of North Ave. The vehicle was stopped because it was reported stolen out of Parsippany. Inside of the vehicle various drug paraphernalia and syringes loaded with suspected heroin were found. Two suspects were transported to Middlesex Count Jail and one was brought to the hospital for high blood pressure. Ptl Goldman investigated. 

On 2/1/16 @ 12:28am - A 23 year old resident of Dunellen was arrested and charged with contempt of court after investigating a previously unreported attempted burglary to a motor vehicle which had occurred the night prior. Employees of a North Ave business stated that the previous night someone had attempted to burglarize a customer's vehicle but was unsuccessful. He then left his wallet in the business. The victim did not want to call the police and left the scene. The suspect had returned for his wallet on the above date and that is when patrol was notified by the business of the events. A check of the suspect's name revealed an active warrant for his arrest. He was arrested, processed and later turned over to Manville Pd on his warrant. Ptl Nierodzik investigated.

On 1/31/16 @ 2:37am - A 19 year old resident of Dunellen was arrested and charged with DWI, underage DWI and resisting arrest following a motor vehicle stop on Columbia St. The vehicle was stopped for driving recklessly on South Washington Ave. The driver was found to be intoxicated and arrested. He then pushed an officer and attempted to get back to his vehicle. He was restrained and then placed into the rear of the patrol car to be brought to headquarters. The suspect was then processed and later turned over to a sober party. Ptl Nierodzik investigated. 

On 1/30/16 @ 11:40pm - A 42 year old resident of West Windsor was arrested and charged with contempt of court following a motor vehicle stop on North Washington Ave. The vehicle was stopped after a random plate check revealed that the owner had a suspended license and two active warrants out for his arrest. He was arrested, processed and later turned over to Plainfield Pd for one of his warrants. Ptl Goldman investigated. 

On 1/28/16 @ 2:14am - A 33 year old resident of Dunellen was arrested and charged with contempt of court after being stopped while riding a bicycle on North Ave. The suspect was riding a bicycle without a light on it. A check of the suspect's name revealed two active warrants for the suspect's arrest. The suspect was processed and later turned over to Piscataway Pd on his warrants. Ptl Pepe investigated. 

On 1/27/16 @ 12:59am - A 40 year old resident of Plainfield was arrested and charged with DWI and possession of marijuana following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. The vehicle was stopped for making an illegal right on red. The suspect was found to be intoxicated and a bag of suspected marijuana was found inside of the vehicle. The suspect was processed and later released. Ptl Goldman investigated. 

On 1/26/16 @ 1:53am - A 29 year old resident of Dunellen was arrested and charged with theft for stealing a cell phone from a bar. The suspect had taken the victim's phone and fled the bar, which was caught on surveillance video. The suspect was processed and later transported to Middlesex County Jail. Ptl O'neill investigated. 

On 1/25/16 @ 12:36am - A 24 year old resident of Carteret was arrested and charged with DWI and three counts of possession of a weapon following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. The vehicle was stopped for going through a red light at the intersection of North Ave and Washington Ave. The driver was found to be intoxicated and was arrested. Inside his vehicle a stun gun, brass knuckles and a knife were found. The suspect was processed and later transported to Middlesex County Jail. Ptl Robbins investigated. 

On 1/21/16 @ 6:10pm - A 24 year old resident of South Plainfield was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property after she was found driving a stolen motor vehicle. The vehicle was reported stolen out of a dealership in Summit. The suspect was processed and later later released. Ptl Deangelo investigated. 

On 1/19/16 @ 1:57am - A 22 year old  resident of North Plainfield was arrested and charged with contempt of court after patrol stopped him for walking in the center of North Ave. The suspect was found to have an active warrant and was arrested, processed and later posted bail. Ptl Pepe investigated. 

On 1/17/16 @ 11:55pm - A 26 year old resident of Plainfield was arrested and charged with contempt of court following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. The vehicle was stopped for having tinted windows, a broken tail light and swerving over the lane dividers. The passenger in the vehicle had two outstanding warrants for his arrest. He was processed and later turned over to Middlesex County Jail. Ptl Goldman investigated. 

On 1/17/16 @ 9:11pm - A 35 year old resident of Dunellen was arrested and charged with theft after the victims came into headquarters to report a gift card and $50 in change missing from their home. The suspect was in the home unsupervised earlier in the day and the items were found missing after she left. After speaking with the suspect she admitted to stealing the items. She was processed and later released. Ptl Goldman investigated. 

On 1/17/16 @ 12:37am - A 33 year old resident of Bound Brook was arrested and charged with DWI following a motor vehicle stop on Walnut St. The vehicle was stopped for making an illegal right on red. The driver was found to be intoxicated and arrested. He was processed and later released to a sober party. Ptl Nierodzik investigated. 

On 1/14/16 @ 8:14pm - A 49 year old resident of Dunellen was arrested and charged with DWI and disorderly conduct following a motor vehicle stop on Gertrude Ter. The vehicle was stopped for driving without its headlights on and for making an illegal right on red. The driver was found to be intoxicated and became disorderly during the traffic stop. He was arrested and brought to headquarters to be processed where he was found to be over double the legal limit. He was later released to a sober party. Ptl Pepe investigated. 

On 1/14/16 @ 1:42am - A 65 year old resident of Old Bridge was arrested and charged with DWI following a motor vehicle stop on South Washington Ave. The vehicle was stopped for swerving over the lane dividers on Washington Ave and for almost striking several parked vehicles. The driver was found to be intoxicated and was arrested, processed and later released to a sober party. Ptl Goldman investigated. 

On 1/13/16 @ 5:19pm - A 20 year old resident of Dunellen was arrested and charged with shoplifting. Patrol was called to a North Ave business for a report of a shoplifter. Upon arrival they found the suspect attempting to leave the store with stolen merchandise. The suspect was arrested, processed and later released. Ptl Robbins investigated. 

On 1/5/16 @ 11:54pm - A 51 year old resident of Perth Amboy was arrested and charged with contempt of court following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. The vehicle was stopped after a random plate check revealed multiple warrants for the owner's arrest. The suspect was stopped and arrested without incident. He was processed and later turned over to Perth Amboy Police Dept for his warrants. Ptl Pepe investigated. 

On 1/3/16 @ 3:30am - A 22 year old resident of Dunellen was arrested and charged with contempt of court following a call to the 300 block of Front St. for a noise complaint. The suspect was found playing music loudly in his vehicle. His name was checked and a no bail warrant was found for his arrest out of Essex County. He was arrested, processed and later turned over to Essex County Sheriff's Dept. Ptl Nierodzik investigated.
