On 3/30/2024 at 1:11 am, Brian Walker, 51, of Branchburg was arrested for Contempt of Court after being witnessed by patrol on the 400 blk of North Ave and known to have a warrant for his arrest in the amount of $750 out of Dunellen. Mr. Walker was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later remanded to the Middlesex County Jail. Ptlm. Saul Vargas investigated.

On 3/29/2024 at 7:23 pm, James Spears, 30, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct after patrol was called to the report of a disturbance at 30 Burgers on South Washington Ave. Mr. Spears was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court appearance notice. On 3/29/2024 at 5:40 am, Sukeisha Smith, 48, of North Plainfield was arrested and charged with Theft by Deception and Forgery after patrol was called to Quick Chek on North Ave for the report of a person attempting to make a purchase with Counterfeit Currency. Ms. Smith was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court appearance notice. Ptlm. Jeffrey Jones investigated.

On 3/27/2024 at 3:50 pm, patrol responded to a residence on the 100 blk of South Washington Ave for the reported Burglary. The victim reported the theft of $46,000 in U.S. Currency from his unlocked residence. This case was forwarded to the Detective Bureau for follow-up. Ptlm. Brian O'Neill investigated.

On 3/26/2024 at 4:16 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Fraudulent Checks. The victim, a Dunellen business, reported receiving $4,295 in fraudulent checks. This case was forwarded to the Detective Bureau for follow-up. Ptlm. Saul Vargas investigated.

On 3/20/2024, Debaras Shider, 31, of Dunellen, was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle While Suspended for a Second DWI following investigation into a motor vehicle stop on 4/25/2023. Mr. Shider was mailed a court appearance notice. Ptlm. Kevin Condus investigated.

On 3/19/2024 at 4:27 pm, patrol responded to a business on the 200 blk of North Ave for the reported Burglary. Staff reported that sometime within the previous few days an unknown person had accessed a locked storage yard, caused damage, and removed approximately $850 in tools. Ptlm. Michael Lowder investigated.

On 3/18/2024 at 11:24 am, patrol received a walk-in report of Lost Property. The victim reported having lost his New Jersey Driver's License on 3/10/2024. Ptlm. Brian O'Neill investigated.

On 3/15/2024 at 6:04 pm, patrol responded to the 100 blk of South Washington Ave for the reported Theft of a Delivered Package. The victim reported theft of a package reportedly valued at $350. Ptlm. Saul Vargas investigated.

On 3/11/2024 at 3:37 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Lost Property. The victim, a Dunellen resident, wished to report that they had lost several identification documents on 9/1/2021. Ptlm. Saul Vargas investigated.

On 3/9/2024 at 12:35 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of a Lost Wallet. The victim reported that they had left their wallet at Quick Chek the night prior and that an unknown person had taken it. Ptlm. James Daniel investigated.

On 3/7/2024 at 11:36 am, patrol received a walk-in report of Lost Property. The reporting party, a Dunellen resident, reported having lost a license plate. Ptlm. Saul Vargas investigated.

On 3/3/2024 at 6:47 pm, William Fonseca, 39, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct and Theft by Deception after patrol was called to Avellino's on Bound Brook Rd. for the report of an irate individual reusing to pay for $103.58 in consumed food and drink. Upon the arrival of patrol, Mr. Fonseca remained uncooperative. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released after receiving a court appearance notice. Ptlm. Saul Vargas investigated.


On 3/2/2024 at 11:43 pm, Kyle Eatman, 55, of East Orange was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on the 200 blk of Dunellen Ave. Mr. Eatman was found to have a warrant for his arrest in the amount of $1,000 out of Springfield. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released after posting bail. Ptlm. Gary Smith investigated.


On 3/1/2024 Shakir Cole, 34, of Jersey City was charged with Forgery, Theft by Deception, and Shoplifting following investigation into a report of Counterfeit Currency at Family Dollar on 2/27/2024 in which he used a counterfeit $100 bill to purchase a candy bar and received the change. Mr. Cole was mailed a court appearance notice. Ptlm. Saul Vargas investigated.
