On 8/6/2026 at 1:53 am, patrol received a walk-in report of a Stolen Motor Vehicle. The victim reported that their Infiniti was stolen from the 100 blk of Dunellen Ave after it was parked unlocked with the keys inside. Ptlm. Saul Vargas investigated.
On 8/3/2026 at 2:14 am, Tiffany Hatcher, 35, of Piscataway was arrested and charged with Impersonating a Law Enforcement Officer following a motor vehicle stop on South Ave in which Ms. Hatcher falsely claimed to be a Newark Police Officer. Ms. Hatcher was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court appearance notice. Ptlm. Ahmon Hardy investigated.
On 8/2/2026 at 4:24 pm, Dayana Yugcha-Gavilanes, 23, of North Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on South Washington Ave. Ms. Yugcha-Gavilanes had an outstanding warrant from Woodbridge for $1,500. She was processed at Dunellen HQ and released after posting bail. Ptlm. Andrew Mortensen investigated.
On 8/2/2026 at 1:30 am, Jose Lara-Paz, 21, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on the 300 blk of Second St. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober family member. Sgt. Keith Irons investigated.
On 8/1/2026 at 5:25 pm, J. Cruz Morales-Amaro, 58, of North Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on the 100 blk of North Ave. Mr. Morales-Amaro had an outstanding warrant from South Plainfield for $1,000. On 8/1/2026 at 11:01 am, Jahve Lettsome, 21, of Piscataway was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on Prospect Ave. Mr. Lettsome had outstanding warrants from Gloucester and Springfield totaling $1,500. On 8/1/2026 at 2:04 am, Roberto Toncel, 45, of Piscataway was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Refusal to Submit Breath Samples following a motor stop on Front St. Mr. Toncel was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing where he refused to provide breath samples.
