On 7/30/2026 at 7:19 pm, Lindsey Kurtz, 25, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Violation of a Court Order following an investigation. On 7/28/2026, Ivan Marrero, 50, of Piscataway was charged with Driving While Suspended for DWI following an investigation into an incident on 5/23/2026. A court appearance notice was mailed to him. Sgt. Keith Irons investigated.
On 7/28/2026 at 9:42 am, patrol responded to a business on the 600 blk of Bound Brook Rd regarding a reported burglary from the night prior. This case has been forwarded to the Detective Bureau for further investigation.
On 7/27/2026 at 2:25 pm, patrol responded to the 100 blk of Lincoln Ave for the reported Simple Assault. The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance. On 7/23/2026 at 7:41 am, Donte Porter, 26, of Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. Mr. Porter had outstanding warrants for his arrest out of South Plainfield and Garwood totaling $1,750. On 7/23/2026 at 12:55 am, Jose Serrano, 37, of Dunellen was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on Third St. Mr. Serrano had a warrant for his arrest out of Perth Amboy for $750. On 7/22/2026 at 12:58 pm, patrol responded to the 700 blk of Front St. for the reported Structure Fire. Patrol arrived to find a fire on the outside of the residence, rapidly spreading towards the home. Thanks to the quick actions of patrol, the Dunellen Fire Department, and the Green Brook Fire Department, the fire was extinguished before spreading to the structure. Ptlm. On 7/22/2026 at 2:07 am, Gustavo Infante-Llamuca, 35, of North Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. Mr. Infante-Llamuca was processed at Dunellen HQ and later released to a sober friend. Ptlm. Erik Ortiz investigated.
On 7/20/2026 at 2:35 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Theft by Deception. The victim reported sending $1,000 to an unknown person as part of a real estate scam. Ptlm. Paul Condit investigated.
On 7/19/2026 at 5:20 pm, patrol attempted to conduct a motor vehicle stop on South Washington Ave, however the driver fled. Investigation revealed the operator to be Jeffrey Cespedes-Jimenez, 32, of East Brunswick. A no-bail warrant has been issued for his arrest. Ptlm. Michael Lowder investigated.

On 7/16/2026 at 8:31 pm, Devon Rick-Bundschuh, 19, of Piscataway was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on Prospect Ave in which he was found to have a no-bail warrant issued by the Middlesex County Sheriff''s Office. On 7/15/2026 at 9:05 am, patrol received a walk-in report of Credit Card Fraud. The victim reported several unauthorized transactions since April totaling $3,475. Ptlm. Paul Condit investigated.

On 7/14/2026, Michael Feliz, 23, of Piscataway was charged with Eluding (2nd Degree) following investigation into an incident on 4/27/2026 at 12:53 am in which a vehicle operated by Mr. Feliz had fled from a traffic stop in Dunellen. Mr. Feliz was mailed a court appearance notice. Ptlm. Gary Smith investigated.
On 7/10/2026, the Dunellen Police Department received a report that the owner of Precious Gifts Daycare in Dunellen had been administering melatonin to two children, ages 2 and 4, without parental consent. The daycare owner was identified as Cheryl Ambicki, 57, of Middlesex. An investigation by the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office and the Dunellen Police Department confirmed that Ambicki had administered melatonin to the two children, as initially reported. Later that day, Ambicki was arrested without incident and charged with two counts of second-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child. She was transported to the Middlesex County Jail. DSgt. On 7/9/2026 at 7:27 pm, William Altamarano-Sevilla, 40, of Dunellen was arrested for Contempt of Court at Dunellen HQ after patrol observed him and confirmed he had an outstanding warrant from Dunellen for $750. On 7/5/2026 at 8:54 pm, Donte Strond, 39, of Middlesex was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on Bound Brook Rd. Mr. Strond was found to have a warrant for his arrest out of Middlesex in the amount of $700. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to Middlesex PD on their warrant.
