On 6/30/2026 at 1:51 am, Demian Villar-Manuel, 24, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Jackson Ave. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober co-worker. Sgt. Keith Irons investigated.

On 6/28/2026 at 6:23 am, patrol responded to the 700 blk of Center St. for the reported Simple Assault. Patrol arrived to find that several persons had been engaged in a physical altercation, half of them had fled prior to police arrival. Patrol explained the process for signing complaints with the court to them. Ptlm. Erik Ortiz investigated.

On 6/22/2026 at 3:10 am, Imanni Reeves, 27, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Endangering the Welfare of Children following a motor vehicle stop on the 100 blk of Front St. Mr. Reeves was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later remanded to the Middlesex County Jail. On 6/21/2026 at 3:04 am, Martiniano Chala-Moya, 38, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Refusal to Submit Breath Samples following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. Mr. Chala-Moya was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing where he refused to provide breath samples. He was later released to a sober friend with a court appearance notice. Sgt. Keith Irons investigated.

On 6/21/2026 at 1:42 am, German Cabrera-Lazo, 37, of North Plainfield was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief and Disorderly Conduct following a police response to an incident on the 400 blk of Front St. Mr. Cabrera-Lazo was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with a court appearance notice. On 6/20/2026 at 11:20 pm, Daniel Espinoza-Quito, 27, of East Hanover was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on North Washington Ave. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober friend. Ptlm. Gary Smith investigated.

On 6/20/2026 at 10:03 am, Mario Espana, 35, of Dunellen was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on South Washington Ave. Mr. Espana was found to have a warrant out of Monroe Twp in the amount of $750. On 6/20/2026 at 2:03 am, Yordi Santos-Cifuentes, 22, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Refusal to Submit Breath Samples at a DWI checkpoint located near Rock Ice. Mr. Santos-Cifuentes was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing where he refused to provide breath samples and was later released to a sober friend. Sgt. Keith Irons investigated.

On 6/13/2026 at 11:35 am, patrol received a walk-in report of Theft by Deception. The victim, a resident of North Ave, reported sending $1,525 to an unknown person. Ptlm. Kevin Condus investigated.

On 6/13/2026 at 1:08 am, Juan Aviles-Acuna, 38, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on North Washington Ave. Mr. Aviles-Acuna was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober friend. On 6/12/2026 at 11:49 pm, patrol responded to "8 On The Break" on North Ave for the reported Theft. Staff reported that a male customer had stolen an arcade shifter knob valued at $50. On 6/16/2026 the item was located and the individual responsible was banned from the establishment. Ptlm. Erik Ortiz investigated.

On 6/11/2026 at 8:53 pm, Laiza Cardona, 41, of Dunellen was arrested for Contempt of Court at a residence on the 700 blk of Bound Brook Rd as Franklin Twp. PD had issued a no-bail warrant. Ms. Cardona was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later turned over to officers from Franklin Twp. Ptlm. Andrew Mortensen investigated.

On 6/11/2026 at 10:56 am, patrol received a walk-in report of Terroristic Threats. The victim reported receiving several threatening text messages from an unknown person. Ptlm. Ahmon Hardy investigated.

On 6/9/2026 at 9:00 pm, Guillermo Zepeda, 44, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Defiant Trespass and Disorderly Conduct after patrol conducted a check of Columbia Park. Additionally, he was issued several borough ordinances and several warrants were located out of Dunellen totaling $600. Mr. Zepeda was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and he was released after receiving a new court date. Ptlm. Erik Ortiz investigated.

On 6/9/2026 at 12:15 pm, patrol responded to Tropical Supermarket on North Ave for the reported Shoplifting. Staff reported that a male had entered the store, picked up an empty cardboard box and filled it with $24.36 worth of items and left without paying. Patrol later located the male, Teyvon Townes, 27, of Bound Brook who was placed under arrest and brought to Dunellen HQ for processing. He was later released with a court appearance notice. Ptlm. On 6/8/2026 at 7:39 pm, patrol responded to Avellino's on North Ave for the reported Theft. Staff reported that a male entered the establishment, consumed $51.50 in food and alcohol, then snuck out without paying. The male was later identified as Raymond Burden, 40, of Piscataway. He was charged with Theft of Services and mailed a court appearance notice. Ptlm. Jeffrey Jones investigated.

On 6/8/2026 at 10:56 am, patrol received a walk-in report of Fraud. The victim, a resident of Lincoln Ave, reported several fraudulent bank transactions. Ptlm. Paul Condit investigated.

On 6/7/2026 at 7:16 pm, Chunleung Tsang, 58, of North Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court after patrol was called to the report of a suspicious person on Schwartz Pl. Mr. Tsang was found to have a warrant out of Plainfield in the amount of $1,000. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released after receiving a new court date. Ptlm. On 6/7/2026 at 5:09 pm, Emily Cheche, 34, of New Brunswick was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on North Washington Ave. Ms. Cheche had a no-bail warrant issued by the Middlesex County Sheriff's Office. She was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later remanded to the Middlesex County Jail on the warrant. Ptlm. Ahmon Hardy investigated.

On 6/6/2026 at 11:55 pm, James Muse, 60, of North Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on North Washington Ave. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober friend. Sgt. Keith Irons investigated.

On 6/3/2026 at 1:13 pm, Jose Huaman-Espejo, 48, of Dunellen was arrested for Contempt of Court after patrol responded to a suspicious vehicle on the 200 blk of Dunellen Ave. Mr. Huaman-Espejo had several outstanding warrants from South Plainfield totaling $1,000. He was processed at Dunellen HQ and released after receiving a new court date.

On 6/2/2026 at 4:59 pm, Dante Porter, 26, of Plainfield was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on Walnut St. Mr. Porter had outstanding warrants from South Plainfield and Garwood totaling $1,250. He was processed at Dunellen HQ and later released after posting bail. Ptlm. Ahmon Hardy investigated.

On 6/1/2026 at 4:10 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Theft. The victim reported that two cell phones were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked at Quick Chek around 3 am the previous night. Sgt. Brian Robbins investigated.

On 6/1/2026 at 10:21 am, Stephon Bailey, 35, of Pennsylvania was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on North Washington Ave. Mr. Bailey had a no-bail warrant for his arrest out of Perth Amboy as well as a $300 warrant out of Irvington. He was brought to Robert Wood New Brunswick for an evaluation and later turned over to Perth Amboy PD for their warrant. Ptlm. Ahmon Hardy investigated.
