On 3/29/2026 at 1:42 am, Raul Aguilar, 44, of North Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Refusal to Submit Breath Samples, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child following a motor vehicle stop on North Washington Ave. Mr. Aguilar was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later remanded to the Middlesex County Jail. On 3/28/2026 at 1:54 pm, Dariel Poitevin, 21, of Dunellen was arrested for contempt of court following a motor vehicle stop on Madison Ave. Mr. Poitevin was found to have a warrant for his arrest out of Manalapan in the amount of $1,000. On 3/28/2026 at 12:03 am, Amirah Jackson, 34, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following an investigation into a motor vehicle accident on South Washington Ave. She was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober family member. On 3/26/2026 at 5:26 pm, Debra Vlearbone, 52, of Dunellen was arrested for Contempt of Court while at Dunellen HQ on an unrelated matter. Ms. Vlearbone was found to have warrants out of Middlesex Boro and Piscataway totaling $3,000. She was turned over to Middlesex PD on their warrants. Ptlm. Jeffrey Jones investigated.
On 3/24/2026 at 9:43 pm, Dharmin Anant, 26, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Refusal to Submit Breath Samples after patrol were notified of a suspicious vehicle in the Family Dollar parking lot. Mr. Anant was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing where he refused to provide proper breath samples. He was later released to a sober co-worker. Sgt. Keith Irons investigated.
On 3/22/2026 at 5:21 pm, patrol responded to the 100 blk of North Ave for the reported Theft. The victim reported that an electric dirt bike was stolen from the rear of Small Town Cafe. Ptlm. Kevin Condus investigated.
On 3/22/2026 at 11:57 am, patrol responded to Advanced Auto on North Ave for the reported Shoplifting. Staff reported two males entered the store, removed $130 worth of merchandise, and fled before police arrived. This case remains open. Ptlm. Paul Condit investigated.
On 3/22/2026 at 1:16 am, Juan Guerrero-Leon, 22, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated after patrol was dispatched to the 600 blk of South Ave for the reported loud music coming from a parked car. Following investigation, Mr. Guerrero-Leon was arrested and brought to Dunellen HQ for processing. He was later released to a sober friend. Ptlm. Erik Ortiz investigated.
On 3/21/2026 at 10:04 am, patrol received a walk-in report of Lost Property. The victim reported that they had driven their vehicle after placing a laptop on the roof of the car. The laptop was now lost, and location services showed it in the area of an apartment building in Plainfield. Ptlm. Kevin Condus investigated.
On 3/16/2026 at 8:10 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Fraud. The victim, a resident of Park Lane, reported that his information had been fraudulently used to enroll in a community college, incurring debts of over $2,000. Sgt. Keith Irons investigated.

On 3/14/2026 at 1:59 am, Wayne Passarelli, 55, of North Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober family member. Sgt. Keith Irons investigated.
On 3/8/2026, at 12:06 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Burglary. The victim, a resident of Fairview Ave, reported that sometime during the night before an unknown person had entered his unlocked garage and stolen two motorcycles valued at $16,000. This case remains open. Ptlm. Paul Condit investigated.
On 3/8/2026 at 1:58 am, Cristhian Pedreros-Valencia, 36, of South Carolina was arrested and charged with Obstructing the Admin of Law (2 cts), Resisting Arrest, and Refusal to Fingerprint after Pedreros-Velencia attempted to interfere with Field Sobriety Testing of another being conducted on North Washington Ave. Mr. Pedreros-Valencia was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing, then Robert Wood Johnson Somerset for a medical evaluation, and lastly remanded to the Middlesex County Jail. On 3/7/2026 at 8:06 am, patrol responded to the 100 blk of Jefferson Ave for the reported Burglary to a motor vehicle. The victim reported that an unknown person had entered her unlocked car the night before and removed a laptop and marijuana. Ptlm. Jeffrey Jones investigated.
On 3/6/2026 at 9:52 pm, patrol was dispatched to an address on the 300 blk of Front St. for the reported Electrical Fire. DSgt. Nicholas Goldman and Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik responded and quickly conducted a sweep of the structure, safely getting the residents out of all 5 apartments very shortly before what was actually a fire in the walls and attic progressed significantly. Firefighters responded from Dunellen, Green Brook, Middlesex, New Market, South Plainfield, Arbor, North Stelton, River Road, Metuchen, Holmes Marshall, and Miltown. Dunellen Rescue Squad and Dunellen OEM responded as well. Despite their best efforts, the structure was a total loss. Further investigation was turned over to the Middlesex County Fire Marshal's Office. At this time the fire is not considered suspicious. DSgt. Nicholas Goldman investigated.
On 3/4/2026 at 5:51 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Illegal Dumping. The reporting person wished to report that on 3/1/2026 at 1:42 pm, they had observed an unknown male and female discarding a large amount of household goods on South Second St, tossing the items from the back of a rental box truck. On 3/3/2026 at 1:51 pm, patrol responded to Depot Way for the reported Credit Card Fraud. The victim wished to document several unauthorized credit card charges. Ptlm. Paul Condit investigated.
