On 12/15/2025 at 11:18 am, patrol responded to Dunellen Liquors on North Ave for the reported Shoplifting. Staff reported that on 12/13/2025, two hispanic males and one hispanic female entered the store and coordinated efforts to steal several liquor bottles with a total value of $144. On 12/15/2025 at 6:20 am, patrol responded to the 500 blk of Dunellen Ave for the reported Stolen Vehicle. The victim reported that their Ford Transit van had been left overnight with the keys in the vehicle and had been stolen. Ptlm. Erik Ortiz investigated.
On 12/10/2025 at 6:02 pm, Nicole Jackson, 41, of Warren was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Refusal to Submit Breath Samples, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child (2 cts) after patrol was called to a hit and run accident on North Ave. It was determined that Ms. Jackson had struck 2 separate vehicles before fleeing on foot. She was located and placed under arrest after field sobriety testing. Ms. Jackson was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later remanded to the Middlesex County Jail. Ptlm. On 12/8/2025 at 2:02 pm, Luciano Pimentel, 40, of Paterson was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave in which he was found to have a warrant for his arrest out of Kinnelon in the amount of $1,500. Mr. Pimentel was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released after posting bail. Ptlm. Michael Lowder investigated.
On 12/6/2025 at 12:14 am, Edward Roach, 33, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Refusal to Submit Breath Samples, and Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on the 300 blk of North Ave. Mr. Roach was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing where he refused to provide breath samples. Additionally he was found to have a warrant for his arrest out of North Plainfield in the amount of $750. After receiving a new court date he was released to a sober friend. Sgt. On 12/3/2025 at 4:34 pm, patrol received a walk-in report of Identity Theft. The victim wished to file a report stating that he had become aware of several auto loans in his name which he did not open. Ptlm. Jeffrey Jones investigated.
On 12/3/2025 at 9:17 am, patrol received a walk-in report of Theft. The victim reported that during the previous night their e-bike had been stolen from the Dunellen Train Station. An unknown person cut the multiple locks that were securing the bike. Ptlm. Jeffrey Jones investigated.
