On 11/27/2025 at 3:47 am, Elizabeth Coto, 29, of New Brunswick was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Refusal to Submit Breath Samples. Ms. Coto was traveling on Washington Ave when she encountered officers conducting a motor vehicle stop and attempted to conduct an abrupt u-turn, disabling her vehicle in the process. Ms. Coto was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing where she refused to provide breath samples and was later released to a sober friend. Ptlm. Gary Smith investigated.

On 11/27/2025 at 3:43 am, Karon Rainey, 24. of Piscataway was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on South Washington Ave. Mr. Rainey was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober friend. Sgt. Keith Irons investigated.

On 11/23/2025 at 2:58 am, Willian Canar-Talahua, 31, of North Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Bound Brook Rd. Mr. Canar-Talahua was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober friend. Sgt. Keith Irons investigated.

On 11/22/2025 at 3:25 am, Niyired Gomez-Carjaval, 31, of Watung was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Bound Brook Rd. Ms. Gomez-Carjaval was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober friend. Sgt. Keith Irons investigated.

On 11/20/2025 at 10:05 am, patrol located a reported stolen motor vehicle out of Plainfield, abandoned with a flat tire on the 400 blk of Dunellen Ave. The vehicle was secured and later turned over to its rightful owner. Ptlm. Paul Condit investigated.

On 11/15/2025 at 3:16 pm, Tanisha Royal, 35, of Middlesex was arrested for Contempt of Court following a motor vehicle stop on Prospect Ave in which Ms. Royal was found to have a warrant for her arrest out of Mountainside in the amount of $1,000. Ms. Royal was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released after posting bail. Ptlm. Paul Condit investigated.

On 11/15/2025 at 3:54 am, Jared Scarpelli, 24, of Brick was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated after patrol observed Mr. Scarpelli asleep behind the wheel in the parking lot of Zupko's. Mr. Scarpelli was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober family member. Ptlm. Erik Ortiz investigated.

On 11/13/2025, Paul Mason, 38, of Dunellen was charged with Shoplifting following investigation into an incident on 10/30/2025 in which he had entered Ray Pharmacy on North Ave and stolen ice cream. Mr. Mason was mailed a court appearance notice. Ptlm. Andrew Mortensen investigated.

On 11/12/2025 at 12:28 pm, Paul Mason, 38, of Dunellen was arrested and charged with Shoplifting and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after patrol was called to Ray Pharmacy on North Ave for the reported shoplifting. Staff reported that Mr. Mason had stolen candy, ice cream, and clothing. He was located nearby and found to be in possession of the stolen clothing as well as a crack pipe. He was taken into custody, brought to Dunellen HQ for processing, and later remanded to the Middlesex County Jail. Ptlm. Kevin Condus investigated.

On 11/12/2025 at 11:21 am, patrol responded to Kline Pl for the report of Criminal Mischief. The victim reported that two of the tires on their parked vehicle had been slashed by an unknown person. Ptlm. Andrew Mortensen investigated.

On 11/11/2025, Nilay Patel, 30, of Piscataway was charged with Theft by Deception following investigation into a report filed on 9/16/2025 in which several unauthorized credit card purchases were made. Mr. Patel was mailed a court appearance notice. Ptlm. Paul Condit investigated.

On 11/9/2025 at 2:06 am, Navdeep Dhillon, 44, of Piscataway was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated after patrol checked on an improperly parked vehicle on the 400 blk of North Ave and found Mr. Dhillon asleep behind the wheel. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober friend. Ptlm. Gary Smith investigated.

On 11/9/2025 at 1:06 am, Ivan Yauli-Sisalema, 32, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Whittier Ave. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober friend. Sgt. Keith Irons investigated.

On 11/8/2025 at 10:46 am, Franklin Davalos-Zurtia, 33, of North Plainfield was arrested and charged with Hindering Apprehension following a motor vehicle stop on South Ave in which he provided officers with a fictitious name to conceal warrants for his arrest out of Rahway ($750) and Union County ($22,315.78). Mr. Davalos-Zurtia was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and released upon posting full cash bail. Ptlm. Marcin Nierodzik investigated.

On 11/8/2025 at 2:11 am, Antony Clark, 37, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated after patrol was called to a motor vehicle crash on North Washington Ave in which Mr. Clark had struck a parked vehicle. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released to a sober friend. Sgt. Keith Irons investigated.

On 11/5/2025 at 2:39 am, Paul Mason, 38, of Dunellen was arrested for Contempt of Court after being found after-hours in the Dunellen Train Station. Mr. Mason was found to have warrants out of Raritan Boro and Somerville totaling $2,000. He was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released after receiving new court dates. Ptlm. On 11/4/2025 at 11:50 pm, Magdalena Alvarado-Oxlaj, 32, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Hindering Apprehension following a motor vehicle stop on North Ave in which Ms. Alvarado-Oxlaj provided officers with a false identity to conceal warrants for her arrest out of Dunellen and South Plainfield totaling $800. Ms. Alvarado-Oxlaj was brought to Dunellen HQ for processing and later released with new court dates. Sgt. Keith Irons investigated.
